Coco Khao Sok Hostel

ce commentaire est surtout lié à l'expédition organisé par Coco Hostel. L'hostel lui même est ok, les lits sont conforts dans le dortoir par contre le staff n'est pas super sympa (à l'exception d'une ou deux personnes). Par contre je vous déconseille de faire le tour avec eux, ils sont les plus cher (de 200baths) mais surtout le logement est partagé avec 3 autres hostels, seulement 6 canoë pour 60personnes, guide en Burnout raciste et homophobe, groupe trop grand donc aucune cohésion.

We had reserved the overnight stay in the national park by Coco hostel, we got many confirmation the days before. When we got there and checked in they told us happily and smiling “the trip is cancelled, BUT we have an 1 day trip instead”. The only reason you go to Khao Sok is for the floating bungalows. They didn’t apologize or tried to solve se problem. We got told that it was ONLY Coco hostel that had the trip cancelled, every other hostel got to go. We solved it ourselves with another...

Someone in my room got money stolen from their wallet and I saw one of the workers come into the room late at night, which is weird, and was looking into people beds and lingering around bags, very suspicious. Lock up ur valuables and sleep with one eye open

If you like a party. It’s perfect. If you want a clean room and a relaxing stay on the island it’s the worst place to be.

Bed bucks!!! Two times in the bed!!

- found one bedbug - got food sick while only eating hostel food or tour food - tour was okay/good - staff is either really nice or seems bored

BED BUGS, do not stay here unless you want to get bitten alive and have cockroaches join you from the drains in the shower

Onze kamer had bedbugs! (29 april 2025). een ander meisje in een andere kamer had het ook en zat helemaal onder de bultjes de dagen erna. We hebben gehoord dat ze de bedden gewoon opnieuw opmaken, maar de bedbugs kruipen in het hout. Ga hier niet heen!

Checked bed thoroughly on arrival for bed bugs after reading recent reviews and didn’t find any (had we seen these reviews before booking we would have booked something else). At about 1130pm myself and my friend both discovered them on our bed/ curtain. Told the guy on reception and he didn’t care and said there were no free beds to move to. Tried calling and messaging their WhatsApp with no response. Fortunately we were able to check into Boom hostel next door.

Very friendly staff. The facility’s were rough though. It’s also pretty loud during the night. The beds were not clean, but after a request they changed it immediately.

Clean hostel and comfy beds. Depending on the room you’re at showers are boiling hot and you can’t adjust it. I booked the lake tour with them and it was great

Stayed here before going to the national park and the beds were really nice with a fan in each one. The showers and bathroom area was nice and clean. The restaurant has good options and friendly staff!

Good hostel to spend a night before the National Park trip. Pretty basic but beds were good with steps instead of ladders. Basic bathrooms but all you need. I did the tour with Coco and it was brilliant

Nice bed spaces and rooms, good bathrooms with lots of showers. A little bit social but mostly people are just coming/going on tours, same as most hostels in the area I assume. Staff were really nice! Good location - everything is along the same road so you don’t have to go far for restaurants etc. Would stay again! Also the 1 night tour we did was nice - no wildlife as that is a case of luck and time of year, but beautiful scenery. I would consider just doing a day trip instead of overnight.

Had everything you want for a little stop before the national park. We didn’t do our tour with Coco so can’t speak for that. But the staff were nice to us and the beds were comfortable.

Unterkunft nur für die Nationalpark Tour gebucht. Recht sozial, da eigentlich jeder, der in den Ort kommt, diese Tour mitmacht. Personal super lieb und die Zimmer mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Also Hostel erfüllt seinen Zweck.

Staff were lovely and the room was nice but showers were scalding hot !!

Good hostel to stay the night before going to the national park. Beds are big and comfy. Everything is very clean and the staff is super nice. We also booked the one night stay at the national park and it was amazing. Good food and also good amounts, you could ask for more as many times as you wanted. Guides are fun and makes experience even better.

The hostel itself is decent – beds are comfortable, AC works well, there’s a restaurant downstairs, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness in the toilets was questionable, with no soap or toilet paper for most of my stay. The lake tour was poorly organized: long unnecessary stops, lots of waiting, and some pointless activities with no views. The “safari” was also disappointing. The guide spoke limited English and shared little info. Bungalows are basic but fine for back...

Very good hostel for one night. You should definitely book the overnight tour at the national park. The staff was so nice, they even allowed us to shower even though we already checked out.
