Puri Rinjani Hostel

I never leave reviews, however, my stay here was ITCHY. My bed (top bunk) was the only one in the room without a window, and the ceiling was bent with no where to hold on to, so it was really uncomfortable and unsafe to get on and off the bed. I stayed there 4 nights and I was bitten alive by bed bugs. I told the staff, and they apologised and told me they’d give me a refund. However, on my last day, when I paid, they still charged me the whole price. Bathrooms were also very smelly.

1. No chance to meet people 2. Wrong surf lesson price. They charge 450K Rph instead of the stated 150K 3. I paid 1,2000,000 Rph for stains on the bed that could have been easily removed 4. Bathrooms are very dirty 5. Staff does not cooperate 6. An animal s**t on the bed, that happened twice. 7. All in all bad experience and not recommended, also overpriced.

This place was a very big disappointment!! I had my period and so some blood came on the sheet and they had me pay 1.200.000!!!! Which is way to much!! I asked if it is possible that I bring it to a.cleaning service, because I know one here which can make wonders happen, but they insisted on buying new ones. Absolutely not customer friendly! If it would not have worked I would have payed of course, but not giving me the chance? It's something natural, I did not do it on purpose.

I stayed in one of the shared dorms. The rooms were very clean, however, shared bathrooms were very unclean. The hostel was not social at all so if this is what you’re after, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. One morning I was in the shower and I had a male staff member come into the women’s bathroom to clean. I felt very uncomfortable as the showers had frosted glass doors (very much still see through). I left my stay early to go to another hostel.

The park and the dormitories look clean and beautiful. Unfortunately, the bathroom is never cleaned; it smells bad, and there is mold everywhere. I even saw a cockroach in the shower.

Pros: location, staff are lovely, pool and garden area is super nice Cons: wifi barely worked. Locker didn’t lock. Staff speaking on their walkie talkies at full volume inside the room at 8am. My bed was extremely close to the ceiling, near impossible to get into and out of without hitting my head or another body part, had to belly crawl backwards out. Felt like I was sleeping in a coffin.

I booked the same room with a friend, they put us in separate rooms. I got given a top bunk bed, Climbing up there was a nightmare and I felt like I could fall and hurt myself. The locker was also on the top, everything seemed built for giants, even the hangers in the showers were so high up and hard to reach. shared bathroom was mouldy everywhere, they clean it but it feels dirty. No common areas=no socialisation. I asked to change bed and they told me to come back the morning after at 7am /...

Worst hostel experience. Staff didn't want to accommodate pushing my stay back by one night due to a flight delay, they tried to get me to cancel my whole stay. I also requested a lower bunk for access reasons but when I turned up my bed was taken. They gave me a bed which was very dangerous to get into and which they offer to the public for 15% off. Despite the fact they sold my bed for the night I wasn’t there, they still made me pay which I felt was totally unfair. More of a hotel experienc...

Would give this place a lot higher but was so many mosquitos in my bed, I got covered in bugs. Pool area so nice but the dorms really need to be cleaned around the lights. Got bitten so much more than anywhere I’ve stayed in a while.

Unterkunft war soweit okay. Bad aber dreckig und spint zu weit vom Bett entfernt

This was a truly Beautiful hostel. It is part of a Resort and the facilities are amazing.

Really nice relaxing hostel (resort)! I had a great time, the bedrooms are really nice and the lockers are big enough to fit a big backpack!

This hostel was great, it’s more like a resort as it’s shared with bungalows. The dorm rooms were very clean and bathrooms are good. Staff were friendly and the guy who arranges the surfing and activities was great! The pool is amazing, definitely more like a hotel pool.

Very nice hostel tucked into the Bungalow set up. So close to the beach as well :) not as social because only 3 dorms but still lovely.

It’s a really nice place. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was great. It’s close to the beach but not directly on the main road. It’s not a very social place though—it’s a resort.

This place is more like a resort than a hostel, super big clean rooms, and a massive pool with swim up bar. However the showers flooded every time

Arrived and were made to feel welcome straight away by Ramanda PJ (the hostel manager). Offered to take us to a secret sunset spot on night one, which we took him up on and it was amazing. He also took us on a day trip around the secret Gilli islands too! The location is perfect for a chill beach stay with the town in close walking distance. Thank you so much!!

We loved the hostel! Comfy beds, a restaurant in the area and a pool with bar that was lovely. The hostel bathroom was not so clean but it was fine. 15 min walk to the “city” with a lot of nice restaurants and stores.

Ended up extending for a further 4 nights. Not the most social but if you’re looking for a chill out place this is it.

Très bel hôtel. Mais c’est effectivement un hôtel pas une auberge réellement. Le lieu est sublime, la piscine très belle. Le lit est confortable et spacieux. En revanche la salle de bains n’est pas très propre.

Mega Unterkunft, Anlage super schön, Personal mega freundlich. Super Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Nicht unbedingt das beste Hostel um andere Reisende kennenzulernen

Beautiful property! Room was very nice and specious! Everything was clean and staff was very friendly! Hostel was not social at all. The location was a bit further from the center but you can walk there easely (or rent a scooter)!

Really really chill hostel, just 2/3 rooms, everything else are just bungalows, not for backpackers 😂 There’s a nice swimming pool, the staff is really kind, but if you’re looking for a social/party hostel, this is not what you’re looking for!! If you just want to chill and enjoy your holiday in Lombok is perfect for you!!

If you’re seeking peace and tranquility in Lombok, this is the right place to stay. Not super social though. The staff are extremely welcoming, and the property is exceptionally clean.

There’s no social activities provided but still had a lovely time and met many likeminded travelers! The pool area is very nice!

Het is wel een stukje lopen naar de grote straat (als je geen scooter kan rijden) maar een hele fijne plek om te slapen! Badkamers mogen wel iets schoner en er was niet altijd zeep, maar de surflessen waren heel leuk en heerlijk zwembad!

Nice clean hostel room and Facilities. It’s inside a Bungalow Hotel, which makes it a bit less social but you get an amazing pool and sunbeds and it’s also right across the street from the beach. It’s like a 15-20 minutes walk to Kutas Center but there’s a scooter rental right next to it too if needed. I’d say it’s a super nice place to stay and have a little relaxing vacation time on the island if you looking for activities like surfing, snorkelling, diving, and not a super social...
