BEDBUGS everywhere!!!

Awful experience. When we arrived at the property we were taken to our room which was in a completely different hostel 10 minute walk away with no access to any of the shared spaces listed. The sign at the other hostel stated it was only 250 baht yet we still had to pay the amount for Pai my way shown on hostel world which was over double. The room we stayed in had insects and the staff were unaccommodating when we tried to express our disappointment and ask for some compensation.

Arrived in the morning, did our check in and were told the staff would bring out bags into our room as we went out for the rest of the day. Came back in the evening, when the reception was already closed, to find out other people where given our beds and no other beds were available. We couldn’t reach anyone from the hostel. Strangers kindly offered we could sleep in their beds, otherwise we had a big problem. The service is not professional and definitely would not recommend.

arrived at hostel and was given a room of 8, immediately the smell of the dorm was horrendous , however I could have dealt with this . I went out to explore pai, when I arrived back to the hostel found out bed bugs were in all of our beds. left me trying to find a place to stay at 3 am, the lady who ran the hostel could not find anywhere for us. I ended up checking into a hotel (not ideal as a budget traveller )was then told I could not get a full refund and lost hostel world prepaid deposit

We booked 2 nights. When we arrive she told us she overbooked the hostel so that her friend could extend one more night??? (so she gave the bed we paid for to her friend) She said she would « upgrade » us to a private room but it was actually a random room in a guest house (not even the hostel) with no AC, no hot water. When we checked in the 2nd night we found some BED BUGS in our beds. The lady didnt even seem shocked. The dorm and bathroom were very dirty, humid and smelled really bad.

Great location but DO NOT STAY HERE!! my friend and another girl in her dorm got BEDBUGS, she is covered all over with bites and the owner did nothing. She was rude, offered no refund and didn’t care about the situation. She admitted on the phone that one dorm already had bedbugs and to “put the guests in the other one”. Toilets were very dirty and there was no toilet paper for 2 days. During my 4 day stay they cleaned the toilet once and the rooms none. although the location is great. Atmosphere is not the best but people are very nice.

Showed up and they didn’t have our booking. They did not help us find alternative accomodation nor did they apologise. We never got our deposit back from website either.

Great location and easy access everywhere. Not that clean. No hangers or shelves near the bed. Only small lockers to put your valuables, no big lockers for the backpack. Next there is a bar that plays love music till late in the night so not a good place to rest.

Was a nice

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the garden was quite nice. We also got a free towel. However, the toilet inside was dirty and there was no space to hang up my toiletry bag. Also, the lockers are pretty small. The bathroom outside was okay, I liked the big shower. The bar next to the hostel is very loud and it is impossible to sleep without earplugs. The mattress is also pretty hard. Still, the hostel is only 3 minutes away from the walking street and a 7/11, which is convenient.

We payed £15 a night which was ok for such a basic hostel. The bedding was thin, the bathroom and shower facilities were not clean and need a renovation. The location was good and the people inside the air bnb were nice. If you go tipsy tubing do not listen to the host and take a dry bag or your bum bag, do not take your phone without any protection.

Reallly nice hostel for a good value. Very friendly chatty host. Great central location. Showers were ok.

Had a lovely stay at Pai my way a few weeks ago. The host amalie was super welcoming and made us feel really at home. she helped us organise a it urs and transport and gave us some helpful information for tipsy tubing ect. the rooms are a little dark but beds are comfortable and they have curtains and plugs. Not a social hostel but you could make it into one. Would stay again, thank you Amalie! ❤️

Showers were not always warm and there are mosquitoes in the shower and bathroom just a warning. I had some good nights sleeps here very comfy bed and gorgeous garden space to relax in. Definitely not a sociable hostel but if you aren’t bothered about that then I would recommend.

Great location and the hostel lady was nice and informative but could be overly friendly/nosey. Side of beds were a bit dirty and the toilets are outside. Can book activities through the hostel if needs be. Not an overly social hostel unless you get good people there who are outgoing.

There is a loud Reagge Bar next to the property but hopefully we get the room on the other side of the property so we didn’t hear any music. Beds are clean and comfortable, there is a lot of space where you can relax outside and the terrace. WiFi was very good, bathrooms were clean. Recommend!

Good value but needs some work! Stay here if need a pit stop stay or party weekend! Is opposite th best reggae bar in town

Auberge vrm pas propre (cafard mort trouve sous mon lit et un dans le lit d’une voyageuse), les douches et toilettes étaient particulièrement très sales. Ils font le ménage mais les lieux se salissent vite et les gens qui fréquentaient l’auberge étaient très sales. This is a lovely hostel for the space and location. However, the bathrooms were quite dirty and the rooms were dark with not loads of floor space. The owner was very nice and helpful with booking things

Lovely place to stay with comfy beds and a very cute garden. The owner is brilliant, helped us with SIM cards and booking lots of transport. She also helped clean and look after my friends injuries after falling off a scooter, and when I woke up with food poisoning quickly moved me to a private room and made sure we were ok.

Sehr schönes Hostel und mega nettes Personal. Ein paar Sachen: Matratze war echt unbequem und mit Plastik verpackt, der Garten war schön aber hätte einfach mehr Potenzial und Liebe. Duschen waren nicht sauber. Alles in allem trotzdem super

Die Lage ist super! Es gibt einen kostenlosen Water-refill. Das Bett ist sauber, geräumig und hat Vorhänge. Das Personal war allerdings etwas forsch und die Kommunikation könnte besser laufen (ich wollte mit Freunden aus einem anderen Hostel zum „Tipsy Tubing“. Letztendlich hat mich die Frau allerdings zum „Jungle Tubing“ angemeldet und meinte es sei ja das Gleiche, aber ich endete dort alleine, alle anderen waren beim Tipsy.) das Bad könnte definitiv mal saniert (und besser geputzt)...

best hostel in pai

Sehr entspannte Zeit dort gehabt. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toiletten waren nicht ganz so top.

Nice enough hostel for one night, showers are outside round the corner which isn’t ideal and the upstairs doors outside don’t lock so anyone could walk in and rob your stuff. Staff were nice and beds were decent with good privacy, bars next door are loud.

Bed is clean and private, they have plastic covers on the matress to prevent bedbugs. It did not feel like a very social hostel, but that could just be me. Location is great and staff nice.
