Cats Hostels Cordoba

They have bed bugs in this hostal. Absolutely disgusting and I would never stay there. What is worse I found some in my luggage and saw reviews posting about this a few weeks prior only after I fund the bugs.

What can I say this is the most soulless I’ve ever been to. I’ve been travelling all over the world, Asia, Central /southAmerica, oz, Europe and this hostel beats them all. Hell even some of the bedbug infested ozzy hostels run by drunk useless volunteers had more charm. Let’s start at check in, it’s a weird online thing and not one member of staff spoke to me, in fact I didn’t know who was staff as there’s no desk, so no one to go for advice, your not welcomed into the place at all. It’s all nice and new but clinically so and completely soulless. I would say it’s all a bit Orwellian with entry codes and even a timed entry code for pool. There’s a fancy looking restaurant/cafe but no kitchen facilities (this may be a little harsh as it was my fault for noticing this in the add but come on a kitchen is a must). The dorms have clearly been designed by some who’s never stayed in one. The sinks are in the middle of the room so everyone hears everything and you wake up everybody, the showers are straight off the dorm room and have NO locks and are made of glass (slightly frosted but not all frosted) god knows how girls feel in mixed dorms. The toilets are noisy even when it’s the upstairs flushing, not to mention there was a sewer smell in the room. A lot of this could have been fixed with external toilets like most hostels. If you’re unlucky enough to be in the first bunk the lockers are next to your head so you get woken up all the time, this morning I got woken up at 6.45 by someone using the provided hair dryer!!! Why even provide one it’s going to cause this issue. Like I say it’s been designed by someone who’s never spent time in a dorm room. My advice go somewhere else I wish I had of done. Unless you like not speaking to anyone, an Orwellian key system, hearing your room mates take a dump, like getting woken up by hair dryers and people coughing up snot and a place with zero vibe.
