J’ai dû quitter lhostel à cause de punaises de lit
I had to leave the hostel because of bed bugs.
Booked 4 nights there. Actually I made some other friends so didn’t really live the hostel. Although there was a WhatsApp group, I didn’t get answers when asking about boat tour. I thought I could manage room without fan but actually I couldn’t. In general it looked a bit roosty and slightly outside from the center so I decided to leave after 2 nights and booking somewhere else last minute. Not sure about social life there as I was never around. Toilette and showers were ok
This is the only review u need to reed. This is a party hostel which you only go to if you are 1 british and 2 not great with alcohol. The staff can not care less about you unless you are drinking with them. The staff were also drunk every night we were there and couldn’t even give me the right WiFi password. The other guests were loud as hell every night and came in almost black out drunk and woke us up. The toilets feels like a public restroom in the middle of Manila.
Rooms are cramped with no air, stains on bed sheets, every time we asked for a drink at the bar it wasn’t available as the bar hadn’t been restocked. Overall the place felt really unclean, the laneway down to the hostel is full of rubbish and smells, kind of setting the tone for the place. Due to it being on the beach there’s a lot of sand everywhere, personal preference but not for me. Some of the volunteers were nice and friendly - angel, Finn, carol. But overall wouldn’t recommend.
What a dump! I stayed here for 2 nights because the other hostel I booked in El Nido was booked out for those 2 nights. This hostel, at 1600 pesos a night, prices itself as a premium hostel, but it is anything but! This is the most expensive hostel I stayed at at the Philippines, but yet it is somehow the worst! The rooms are dirty and cramped! The AC is turned off during the day and there are no fans in the room, so if you wish to rest in your room longer, you get completely drenched in sweat...
We had no good experience with the hostel. The room is awkwardly small, there was hardly any light and it is dirty. The door of the dorm was also always open and anyone could walk into the hostel. The kitchen had almost nothing, not even detergent. Also a stray cat slept in one of our beds in the dorm. We wouldn't recommend it.
Dirty. dirty sheets, dirty rooms. Cockroaches all over. No Internet in the room. Too noisy. The only good thing is the view.
The night before we had cancelled the first night of the reservation leaving us with no place to sleep, then we arrived and there was a person living in our room with a pile of trash on the floor and the beds uncovered, then we arrived at night and found 2 people having sex in the room (the rooms don't have a key). the staff started wavering at us, making obscene gestures and telling us to have a beer. we had to cross the sea barefoot to get there.
The hostel is located on a side accessible in Tuktuk or scooter only at low tide because you have to cross the beach. there is that this beach that allows access to the hotel it is absolutely not practical. the dormitories are dirty, dust and spider webs everywhere. the mattresses are thick as a sheet of paper, you can smell the bars of the summer tree. the rooms smell of the confined and its tiny therefore no place to put your things. very expensive for what it is.
The only good thing to highlight is the peronal. on the other hand, it leaves a lot to be desired about the hostel itself and I don't know why it has such good ratings. maybe it's because of the kind of traveler you go, if you don't mind sleeping in rooms with poor ventilation and bad smell and showers with mushrooms and worms is your hostel! we saw people enjoying the hostel without a problem, I'm not saying you can be one of them, but I didn't like it. we asked to cancel two nights and they go...

Beautiful location and atmosphere! We loved watching the sunset on the bean bags right on the beach. However, I booked for my friend and i and we stayed in separate buildings but didn’t know that until post check in. They were out of ice the whole time we stayed there so we couldn’t order many of the drinks. By night they were out of drinking water and didn’t have any when we woke up either. Additionally, it says breakfast is included/free but that is only for 1 pancake.
One of my favourite hostels I kept extending my stay. AC is off during the day which dose suck cause there’s no where really to cool off. Only a 16m walk to the main area. Overall grate time grate staff and people
Danke :) Ich komme wiede...
The OIA Hostel was my first accommodation in the Philippines and from the first moment a magic! from the Chill Area you can sometimes observe Turtles in the water right in front of the Hostel and the sunset is absolutely unique. this place has so many beautiful creative details and you will find everything you need! my absolute highlight was the staff, they made my stay so special and I have always felt very welcome!
awesome staff, amazing vibe and perfect location just out of the main town
We really enjoyed our stay at the hostel. The whole crew was so helpful and kind. The overall atmosphere in the hostel was outstanding. It’s not located in the main area of El Nido but this is not an issue. You can reach it in 10 minutes by foot. It is also a scenic walk. Thats a tiny price to pay to be right at the beach front.
In overall it is a great Hostel with a nice view! Mattresses aren’t comfortable since they’re really thin The common area is big and offers a lot of socialising activities like cards, games or 8-pool

I had to leave the hostel because of bed bugs.
I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hostel The staff and volunteers are really helpful and welcoming A special thank you to Paul for teaching me how to play chess
This was an amazing hostel away from the chaos in El Nido. Super chill vibes , staff were so so friendly and daily activities. We actually barely Left the hostel because it was so amazing
Great vibe an stunning location. Truly amazing staff the only negative is the beds/ac but supposedly they’re replacing soon. Also showers have hot water which is great
I loved this place! I was only there for a night but would have loved to stay longer. Super chill vibe. Outdoor bathrooms/showers but worked great! Dorms can be a bit small but never felt too hot or anything. A lot of the staff are volunteers and we’re so lovely! Right on the beach which was so cute and the nets/hammocks everywhere were such a vibe. A little out of the main town but not too far. And the surrounding neighbourhoods was a lot more laid back than in town. Definitely would book aga...
A great place to stay. The Irish leprechaun Fin at reception went above and beyond to accommodate his customers.
It was nice, but the room was very small and there was little room for everything you needed.
I had such a great stay at OIA Beach Hostel! The people there are incredibly friendly and open. They really make the place feel welcoming and relaxed. The common area is honestly the best part. It’s right by the beach with the most beautiful view. Watching the sunsets from there is just perfect and something I’ll definitely remember. Overall it’s just a really special place with a great vibe. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend staying here!

This hostel has a unreal vibe and view of the bay of El Nido. You will keep wanting to extend your stay here. Great hang out area and always something to do. Shout out Finn, Angel, Milly, Stanley, Noi, and all everyone else for making my here incredible!
Very nice location with AMAZING views! The sunset was one of the best sunsets I have ever seen in my life! Just didn‘t find it as social, but might be just a matter of timing
Not social at all. The showers were bad, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. You could not lock the doors, you didn’t get a key so anyone could walk in. The ac never worked properly, it was so hot in the rooms. We could never turn the lights off so it would always be on until so late, some days 2 in the morning. They say they have a no sex policy and you get fined, but apparently that does not apply for the staff, they woke me up every night I stayed there and cats that ran into the rooms.
Buen alojamiento!
Good accommodation! the common areas are super good. the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very good :)) Good location, 10min walking from the center and in front of the beach. it has very good views. i loved it :)) On the contrary, the rooms are small and there is not much space. the bed is not the most comfortable.
schlechtes hostel, beds were schlecht and duschen auch . but nice aussicht
