Nawate Guesthouse

+ The place is very clean. The staff are nice and helpful. We get to meet many friendly people. It’s very easy to get around this beautiful town. Just perfect.

- You could hear everything, there was a snoring man sleeping above me so I couldn’t sleep and also very very loud family with such an annoying children that woke up at 5 AM and came back at 7 AM and woke up the ENTIRE guests of the guest house, there are no walls, and no doors and the ones that are there are literally just for beauty because they don’t sound proof at all. It was just a very bad experience, my sleep was so bad even though I had earplugs and a sleeping mask and I have a very heavy sleep, yet I didn’t slept well at all. I would never go back

+ 清潔で綺麗 使いやすい ベッド個室にミニ扇風機、自由に使える毛布もあり、それぞれの感覚に合わせて調節出来るのは良かったです

- 日本語話せるスタッフもいたのになぜか英語で説明されました。 ゲストハウス泊まる人は英語話せる前提と思われてるのか、日本語でお願いしますと言えなかった、、。せめて英語でも大丈夫？って聞いてほしかったです。 また下のカフェで使える50%オフのチケットをもらいましたが、火曜日の16時過ぎにチェックインしましたが、出かけて戻ったらカフェは17時に閉店していました。 【チェックインは16時以降・17時にカフェ閉店・水曜日カフェ定休】であれば、チケットを渡す時に一言言ってくれても良いのにな、、と思いました。

+ Great location, lovely staff, coziness of common room, clean, comfortable bed, nice pillow.

- It is noisy, the common room has a little fridge to sell drinks to guests. It produces 60db plus of fan noise continuously. The walls and doors leading to the rooms are paper thin. People use hair driers and the kitchen without any care of the “silent hours” All rooms are internal without any windows There is no ventilation or air renovation at the rooms or dorm during night time.

+ 働いている方が外国の方で片言なので、ジェスチャーでなんとなくで行動すればいい。あとは、日本語表記を探す。明るく元気な受付だった。

- レンタサイクルをする予定で事前にメールで伝えていたが、そのことには一切触れられなかった。当日・翌日共に予定が変わったので必要がなくなり問題はなかった。

- Really noisey from adjoining cafe - music until 10 pm and a lot of noise from people talking in the common area and the bunk room opposite.

+ 観光する場所に近くて　便利でした。 布団も　ふわふわで　気持ちよかったです。

- 部屋に　窓がなく、テレビもなくて　ちょっと寂しい感じ がしました。

+ The room was very clean, quiet, and warm Bunk beds were very comfortable Bathrooms were nice and clean Staff and other guests were lovely :) Location was perfect, the hostel is on the cutest little road filled with lots of shops and places to eat

+ I go often to this guesthouse when I am in Matsumoto for work. It is very well furnished, comfortable and clean. The way the guesthouse functions is also very well done and efficient (check-in/check-out go smoothly and there are spots to work inside, the kitchen is also well equiped and easy to use). The staff are very friendly and helpful. A café is also attached to the guesthouse, where they play live music some evening. Finally, it is close on foot from the station and is located in a nice commercial street. Really really recommended.

+ I had wonderful experience in nawate guesthouse. My original plan was to stay only 2 nights but i extended to almost 20 because of how good the place, the people and the city were. The guesthouse has its own cafe on the first floor, the food is great there are events regularly, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The accommodation in the guesthouse are great, this was honestly the most comfortable bed I had in a guesthouse, the common room is not that big there was a lack of space in the kitchen for long term stay like me but for a normal stay there’s no issues. My best traveling experience until now.

+ Really nice and clean place. Beds are really good. I had to change my plans and wanted to stay 1 night instead of 2 nights. It was not a problem to change my date and i get a total refund of my money. I would understand if they didn't give me a refund, so it was so nice they did! Location is also perfect

+ Chris and co were unreal during my short stay in Matsumoto. Always willing to lend a hand or help me with finding new places to see. Highly highly recommend this as a visit for anyone in Matsumoto

+ The staff are awesome, and the guesthouse itself feels more like a hotel than a hostel - it’s a premium price but so worth it. The location of the hostel couldn’t be better, and right next door is a chic cafe where the owners hang around and chat.
