il y avait des punaises de lit, le staff a été notifié dès le samedi matin mais ne nous a pas attribué une nouvelle chambre nous disant qu'il y a eu un traitement. Mais les piqures ont poursuivies. J'ai dormi 6h en 2 nuits ...

Maybe bedbugs?

Bettwanzen. Ich war mit meinem Kurs für mehrere Nächte in diesem Hostel untergebracht. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass mein Bett mit Bettwanzen befallen war. Während ich nachts im Bett lag, liefen mehrere Bettwanzen über meine Decke und mich hinweg. Später fanden wir weitere Tiere an der Wand. Auch Schimmel im Bad war vorzufinden, in mehreren Zimmern. Das Personal an der Rezeption reagierte freundlich und verständnisvoll und hat mich in ein anderes Zimmer umquartieren können. Dennoch ist ein Bettwanzenbefall ein gravierendes hygienisches Problem, das in einer Unterkunft unbedingt verhindert bzw. konsequent behandelt werden muss. Insgesamt war diese Erfahrung sehr unangenehm und hat den Aufenthalt stark beeinträchtigt. Ich hoffe, dass das Hostel die Situation ernst nimmt und entsprechende Maßnahmen ergreift, damit zukünftige Gäste nicht dasselbe erleben müssen.

Bed bugs!!!

At least one of the rooms is infested with bed bugs. Also, the staff is very unfriendly and doesn't care about the well being of the costumers - for example, when they heard about this situation and saw the bedbugs bites they didn't show concern and refused to offer a refund. Unbelievable. - After I published this review the owner replied saying: "Dear Mrs Coelho, we apologize your review and need to say that we do not have or had any reservation under your name in none of our Hostels. Obviously there seems to be a confusion on your side of reviewing the wrong place. Best from Berlin!" I'm not being able to reply so I copy pasted it and I'll reply here: The reservation was not done under my name, so no, there's no confusion here. At least one of the rooms in this place is infested with bedbugs, and judging by other reviews I'm reading it's not the only one. It's unbelievable that this situation is happening but even more unbelievable that the owner publicly tries to dimish it or make it seem untrue. Some people even posted photos here, in case there were any doubts. Apparently, it's not only the staff that is unfriendly and doesn't care about the well being of the costumers: the same goes for the owner.

Despite the insincere promises made in reaction to the last review (1 month ago), the bed bug infestation persists. I have about ~50 bites all over my body and will persue with legal measures as the behavior by the staff was also completely intolerable. No apologies, no refund, even suggested I'd take the bus stopping outside the building to reach my replacement accomodation. The place knowingly rents out the old, infested rooms to try and make money during their renovation, plus falsely claims there isn't any infestation (despite multiple negative reviews and picture and video proof). Unbelievable!

The hotel is infested with bedbugs, beware.... Except for that, the rooms are big but rundown, almost shabby. The breakfast is at best mediocre. Location is good.
