The place is extremely untidy and does not match the pictures. There is only one toilet for the entire location. The owner is constantly watching you and trying to charge you extra money; I was charged for arriving 1 hour earlier for the entire previous night. And she charged other people for use of the kitchen and staying past checkout (room was left clean). Avoid this place, extremely dodgy Ilha Grande residence.

The hostel was fine for what it was, very relaxed vibe. Basic kitchen but tiny so can only cook if no one else is. The rooms were also small but fine, had lockers that only fit small backpacks not big ones. Got bitten alive as it had no windows just a hole in the wall. No air con only fans so was very hot but that seems normal on Ilha grande. Up a big hill to beware when carrying bags but only 5 min walk so location was fine. The toilet and shower was always very clean. Had areas to chill.

Cute little family run hostel, very authentic feel, the perfect choice if you’re looking for a peaceful space, good location, hosts were lovely, overall would recommend

I stayed here for 3 nights on visiting Ilha grande. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which had curtains and a fan. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the town. The staff are really helpful although they don’t speak much English they try their best. They send you a what’s app message before you arrive explaining how to get into the property etc. The kitchen is very small. The showers and toilet are kept clean. Overall a very chilled hostel. I would recommend

Lovely hostel - more relaxed than party vibe as it’s a little further out from the Main Street. Very friendly staff/owner. Not my toilets/showers so sometimes you had to wait.

One of the coziest and most beautiful hostels I’ve stayed at. It’s a little peaceful oase. The staff is really nice and helpful and make you feel at home. I enjoyed my stay there a lot🌞

Lugar de paz perto das fontes de água doce e a mata. E o hostel mais silencioso da Ilha Grande. Dona Ângela e Antônio cuidam muito bem do lugar e dos hóspedes!

Very lovely place, people are very friendly,welcoming and available. Rooms are ok, can be improved, but the space outside is very comfortable and relaxing. Very good location Amazing cats

Everything was wonderful

The hostel is wonderful. Tucked away at the back of the city. Pure peace & central. I unfortunately shared a dorm with Jack (previous comment). It was a 4-bed dorm but we were only 2 on my 1st night. He brought back a woman at 3:30am. I was told « this is my girlfriend », « you’re not in Europe now ». Not only is this highly insulting to Brazilians, it’s just wrong in every sense of the word. Many of my things went missing after his departure. I can’t accuse but it’s very odd ind...

Super hostel ! Le personnel est adorable, nous avons très bien accueillis, c'était agréable. Les douches et toilettes étaient nettoyées plusieurs fois par jour même si nous étions en basse saison et qu'il n'y avait que 3 personnes dans l'hostel. Le seul point négatif a été la cuisine, les ustensiles, poêles et casseroles étaient très sales. On recommande tout de même, nous avons passé un bon moment 🙂

Je recommande à 100% ce charmant hostel tenu par Angela qui est une personne adorable! L’hostel est bien situé, les chambres sont confortables et propres. Merci beaucoup pour l’accueil 🤗

Wir fanden unseren Aufenthalt in bela Casa sehr entspannend und ruhig. Wir hatten ein 4 Zimmer gebucht aber aufgrund so weniger Gäste hatten wir das Zimmer für uns allein. Ich empfehle es jedem der seine Ruhe möchte und auch billig davonkommen möchte. Wer gerne kocht im Urlaub dem würde ich die Küche jedoch nicht empfehlen☺️

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, sehr liebes Personal, sehr schöner Aussenbereich, gute Lage.

This is a super relaxed hostel, with a comfy social space and nice rooms with a great fan. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Make sure to bring some mosquito repellent though!
