- Very bad hotel
+ The bed was comfortable and the TV has Netflix. The whole place looks like a Bridgerton or Downton Abbey postcard, until you look closely that is ...
- First, when I checked in they told me that there was a problem with my reservation and I would have to change rooms the following morning (check out at 10am and back in at 1pm) even though the reservation was made for two nights. They said due to the error they would upgrade me to a room with a bathroom the second night. The room was a let down, every corner was absolutely filthy, I don't think they've swept (let alone mopped) in months (see attached pics). The towel was fraying and super thin. You get exactly one towel, no hand towel to go with it. Also, the windows from my room opened onto the smoking balcony. That's ok, except the blinds were broken and one of the windows couldn't be closed all the way, so when people smoke, it just comes in the room. And you feel like you're in a fishbowl since you can't totally close the blinds either. Other guests were rude bathroom hogs at 4am. I've stayed in lots of places with a shared bathroom and have never had an issue. The problem here is they have one toilet for three rooms, each with two double beds. The toilet and shower are connected so if someone decides to, they can spend a long time in there. I complained at 4am and asked to find another bathroom (that didn't even have toilet paper in it). I asked again to confirm I was moving rooms and the guy at the front desk said, yes. Later that morning, after I'd packed up all my stuff to move rooms they told me I didn't have to anymore. I said, well you told me I am and I want to now. And they said, well you didn't pay for it. So, I told them to cancel my booking for the next night and found a MUCH nicer place for literally $3 more. Keep looking, there are much better places in Cusco. Also, breakfast is pitiful- cold bread, bananas and whole avocados with no knives. No coffee! Only tea. Also, you have to do your own dishes which I expect at a hostel but not a hotel.

- 1 - Me cobram 38 dólares a mais do valor que estava no booking!!! 2 - O quarto não possuía aquecedor. 3 - A decoração do quarto era de papel de parede e estava toda saindo, ficando pendurada, e peguei o quarto melhorado... 4 - A torneira do banheiro estava solta. 5 - Não limparam o quarto nenhum dos dias. 6 - Quando pedi toalhas, me deram 2 toalhas e apenas um sabonete pequeno. 7 - Café da manhã muito simples, e quando acabou o pão e café e demoravam muito para repor. 8 - Teve vezes que eu tive que sair e o único funcionário que tinha na parte da manhã estava fora do hotel, provavelmente para comprar pão, e acabei ficando preso na recepção. 9 - A tranca do quarto era um cadeado. Da recepção do hotel dava pra ver pela janela dentro do meu quarto, tive que improvisar uma maneira de tampar com a cortina.

- TODO. Yo pague por una habitación con baño privado y en la noche me pidieron cambiar de habitación porque supuestamente habia un problem a en la tuberia, tuve que perder mas de una hora de mi tiempo en volver y cambiar mis maletas de habitación a una sin baño, es decir no correspondia al servicio que contraaté, al dia siguiente que debia volver a la habitción que contrate resultó que ya lo habian alquilado a otra persona, osea me mintieron. Las duchas de los baños siempre estaban sucias, asi que si tienen problemas con la limpieza busquen otro hotel y el desayuno en verdad no compensa el precio, sugiero que no lo contrten y compren desayuno en otra parte.
- Teniamos una reserva para el mismo dia hecha a las 13.30h y confirmada pero me enviaron un escueto mail una hora más tarde (que yo tardé en ver ya que no tenia señal ) diciendo que no disponian de habitaciones para ese dia.Ni disculpas ni nada .. La persona encargada de las reservas deberia hacer mejor su trabajo.

- 6시 30분 부터 자정까지 물을 사용할 수 없습니다. 호탤측은 이 사실을 미리 알려주지 않았으며, 어쩔 수 없다는 식의 대답만 하였습니다. 아직 공사가 진행중입니다. 창문이 완전히 닫히지 않아 복도의 소리가 들립니다. 방 안에 콘센트가 없어 화장실의 것을 사용하여야 했습니다.
The staff canceled my reservation to make room for a larger group. Would not suggest!!!
I would never stay here again.When I checked in, they gave me a room with windows but no glass. Literal holes in the wall that are directly to the outside. It was freezing. I asked for a new room. They said the room was under construction and they had nothing available until the next day. The next day, they gave me a room where the ceiling leaked so bad,I'm shocked the plaster is still attached. They had to move me again.Wifi only works in lobby. Breakfast is meager. Great location and hot water

- Mal servicio, cuando llegue me dejaron esperando en la calle por 1 hora mientras contestaban, luego me dijeron que la habitación tenía un problema y me llevaron a otro hotel por esa noche, el día del pago no tenían claridad sobre la facturación, las puertas y chapas están dañadas y es difícil abrirlas, las instalaciones están deterioradas, el baño con tiene puerta en la ducha o cortina. Las puertas se arrastran y rechinan mucho, en la mañana o noche da pena abrir porque hacen ruido.
Nice property but poorly managed. Wouldn’t recommend. They have limited reception hours which is not mentioned anywhere online. Our bus was late into Cusco due to roadworks. I emailed early to let them know our ETA. On arrival, the reception was closed and no-one on site. Luckily we had data to WhatsApp. Eventually someone arrived and said they gave our room away. We had to go elsewhere for the night. Over the next 3 days, I saw multiple people waiting at a closed door, no staff in sight.

This place could use an insane update and needs better ambiance. You walk into the sketchiest door, which you could be locked out of for multiple minutes, and then literally 0 lights on in the place, junk piled everywhere, and the staff is like it’s their first day on earth. But the rooms were cozy and the water hot

+ Bamba House Cusco has a very charming retro style with antique furniture, a pleasant dining room, and a nice terrace. The shower is good and there is reliable hot water. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds and pillows are comfortable.
- Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy, so it’s worth requesting a quieter room when booking. The property is currently being expanded, but it seems that more attention should be given to maintenance. The bathroom ceiling has some mold, and the entrance door squeaks. It’s surprising that such a simple fix, like a bit of WD-40 hasn’t been done. The bathroom is also missing a cup for toothbrushes, and the soap dispenser does not work.

- As in all budget accommodations in High altitude Peru in the rainy season could do with a heater !
+ Good location, access to kitchen and common spaces. They allowed us to use the common areas, shower, and store luggage after checkout while waiting for a night flight. Good hot showers!
- There is windows to the corridor so the light may bother some people sleeping, Bring an eye mask.
