Vengo de Perú, realicé una reserva y mucho antes de la fecha de cancelación solicité por correo indicando que por la app no podía realizar la cancelación GRATUITA y si me la pueden hacer ellos debido a que mi vuelo se había reprogramado y posteriormente reservar el próximo mes. Nunca obtuve respuesta y después en mi tarjeta se hizo el cobro de los días sin siquiera haberme quedado allí, la atención al cliente es muy mala y descortés, desde mi experiencia no lo recomiendo.
I am from Peru, I made a reservation and long before the cancellation date I was asked by mail indicating that through the app I could not make the FREE cancellation and if they can do it for me because my flight had been rescheduled and later booked for the next month. i never got a response and later on my card was charged for the days without even having stayed there, the customer service is very poor and rude, from my experience i do not recommend it.
Used nikotin in my bed when i arrived. Toilets not really funktioning. Im sorry but the experience was horrible.

Pretty disappointed stay. This hostel hasn't got the basics right. Was woken up 3 times in the night because someone claimed I was in their bed. Couldn’t lock away my valuables because only 4/6 lockers in the room had doors. Shower vents don’t work so ceiling is mouldy. Some toilets had no loos roll. Overall very underwhelming and felt uncomfortable the whole time.
Overall disappointing. Most staff were friendly, especially the young guy on evening shifts who was very helpful. The morning staff member was rude and often unavailable. Checkout was unattended, so we left a note and key. Bathrooms were poor (flooding showers, no toilet seat, no temperature control). Bed was clean but curtains lacked privacy. Nice terrace. Family dinner okay for €6. Skip the breakfast — very disappointing and refund refused without explanation.
1) Tout le monde pouvait rentrer dans la chambre car elle ne fermait pas. 2) Pas d'eau froide dans la salle de bain. 3) Eau bouillante dans la salle de bain. Je me suis brulée à plusieurs reprises pour me laver le visage, me brosser les dents ou sous la douche. 4) La douche était immonde. C'était très sale. 1) Everyone could enter the room because it did not close. 2) No cold water in the bathroom. 3) Boiling water in the bathroom. I burned myself several times while washing my face, brushing my teeth or in the shower. 4) The shower was dirty. It was very dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE ! Stayed one night and did not extend for the remaining of my stay in Lyon . I was really hoping that previous reviews were just ppl complaining but its sadly the real Truth ! hostel is used by many ppl seeking accomodation in city... no limit of stay period . Deffinetly not Youth either... SHOWERS ARE COLD ! ELECTRICAL UNSAFE - SPARKS FROM THE LAMP OVER BUNK WHEN PLUGGED IN
Its the worst hostel I have stayed They dont have electricity in the bunk beds, there is only an extension cord in the middle of the room, there is not hot water in the shower, there is only one button that you push and the cold water comes for a minute I labeled my food and the next day it was missing I asked in reception and was told that they cleaned and maybe the coworker threw it but that they cant do anything about it
None of the oulets in the beds worked, so we had to compete for an extension cord. The bathrooms were the appliances were leaky. Service was slow, and it seemed like they were short staffed. Our roommate had been living there for 2 weeks and said the outlets in the beds hadn't worked during his entire stay. The rooms were clearly not designed to fit 6 people, so I was always worried about stepping on someone's things or waking them up. The drinks and food were priced reasonably

The staff were very attentive and nice. Also the view is lovely if the weather is good. Other than that it was one of the least enjoyable hostel I’ve stayed in over the years. Some toilets missing seats, some are out of order, the bathroom sinks and shower water is only scalding hot (no way to change it), one had no nozzle so it just violently sprayed water everywhere, the beds are rickety and worn out.
i loves this hostel from the location to the atmosphere. Word of warning though - it is a steep putt up from the train station - take a look at public transport to St Just if you have heavy bags.
the hill that the hostel was on was really steep, but it's pretty close to the centre. the laundry facilities were nice! the socket neqr my bed wasn't working, and when i told the staff about it, they offered to move me to a different room. there was a sink in the room which was nice and there were lockers for which you can use your own lock. the communal bathrooms were not really clean. i only stayed here for one night, but the bed was comfortable, although my curtain was broken.

Das Hostel liegt auf einem kleinen Berg, hat eine wunderschöne Terasse, die Betten sind bequem und in Kojen abgeschottet. Leider gibt es in der Ausstattung erhebliche Mängel. Es gab pro Flur 2 Toiletten, davon hatte eine keine Klobrille, und zwei Duschen, diese waren immer warm aber müssen alle 5 Sekunden neu gedrückt werden. Ich habe dort nicht gekocht, aber die Küche ist sehr klein, es gibt nur ein einzelnes Kochfeld und ein kleines Waschbecken. Dafür werden Mahlzeiten und Snacks verkauf...
The hostel is located on a small hill, has a beautiful terrace, the beds are comfortable and enclosed in a coffin. unfortunately there are significant shortcomings in the equipment. there were 2 toilets per floor, one of which had no toilet, and two showers, these were always warm but need to be refreshed every 5 seconds. i have not bought there, but the kitchen is very small, there is only a single Kochfeld and a small sink.
Très déçu, la chambre sentait la fumée de cigarette, les prises électriques ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai dû réserver une autre auberge afin d’être dans de meilleures conditions, en parlant du problème d’électricité la personne de l’accueil été au courant mais personne n’en a parlé au moment du règlement et n’ont pas envoyé de mail afin de prévenir
Very disappointed, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the electrical outlets didn't work, I had to book another hostel in order to be in better conditions, speaking of the electricity problem the receptionist was aware but no one spoke at the time of settlement and did not send an email in order to prevent it.

Lekker bed, mooie view van lyon vanaf het terras. fijn dat er kluisjes in de kamers zitten. badkamer was niet helemaal geweldig en sommige dingen zoals het stopcontact bij mijn bed viel er uit. maar heel vriendelijk personeel die ons vertelde wat er te doen was in lyon en leuke cafeetjes etc
Nice bed, nice view of lyon from the terrace. nice that there are safes in the rooms. bathroom was not all that great and some things like the outlet by my bed fell out. but very friendly staff who told us what to do was in lyon and nice cafes etc

Fantastic staff, location and dorms. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff! Definitely coming back. Excellent location. Beds are super comfortable and clean. Showers are the only let down!
Sono stata in questo ostello per due notti, la posizione meravigliosa la vista sulla città splendida ( per non fare la salita potete prendere la funicolare). i lettini hanno le tendine da tirare e puoi accendere anche la tua lucetta personale. la cucina è abbastanza pulita e se non vuoi cucinare puoi mangiare in ostello e con neanche 10 euro te la cavi, da italiana sicuramente il cibo non era buonissimo ma comunque non faceva schifo e l’ho mangiato volentieri. un ringraziamento speciale a iv...
I stayed in this hostel for two nights, the wonderful location the view of the splendid city (for not doing the hall can take the funicular). the beds have the tendon to pull and you can also light your personal lantern. the kitchen is quite clean and if you do not want to cook you can eat in the hostel and with not even 10 euros te la cavi, from Italian definitely the food was not buonissimo but anyway it did not look bad and I ate willingly. a special thank you iva❤️
Really friendly atmosphere at the hostel and staff were very welcoming. The toilets and showers were small but functional and the hostel is on top of a hill so be prepared to do some climbing.
I want to be fair to this hostel. There are many great points about it, but unfortunately some of the main points are lacking, and I hope they see this and make it a great hostel. Bathroom: They were clean, but they are cramped. Crappy plastic cladding (think about mini-tiles instead). No mirrors. Tiny sink with only hot water that blasts out which means it splashes everywhere. Hence floor soaking wet. Shower temp not adjustable. Dorms: Curtain sliders ripped. No coat hooks. Locker doors broken
Nel complesso una ottima scelta, che rifarò quando ritornerò a Lione. La posizione è fantastica: si vede tutta la città giù fino al fiume e oltre. Col tramonto o l'alba era un di più non compreso nel prezzo. Poi, come tutti gli ostelli, si vorrebbe sempre qualcosa di più: un gancio nel bagno, un appoggia abiti/accappatoio; così come nella camera farebbe comodo un attaccapanni (che però so bene che fine farebbe.....la clientela non è sempre civile, ma a Lione era più civile ed educata...
Overall an excellent choice, which I will make again when I return to Lyon. The location is fantastic: you can see the whole city down to the river and beyond. With sunset or dawn it was a plus not included in the price. Then, like all hostels, he would always want something more: a hook in the bathroom, a garment/accappatoio support; as well as in the room an attaccapanni would be convenient (which, however, would be fine.....the clientele is not always civil, but in Lyon it was more civil and ...
