Hippie Hostel Anjuna

geyser not working, no locker provided, ac not working, light is just a single bulb so too less, no drinking water, you have to buy unlike other hostels, only plus point is that it's close to the beach, no towels are provided even though the owner has 100 towels stacked at the reception but for some reason he didn't provide. there is not mobile network inside the hostel for some reason. another downside is that the roads reaching to the hostel are in pretty bad shape

Not accepted booking even room was available

Hostel owner asked us to cancel the booking at last moment after reaching to the destination place and said to see the outside opportunity on your own which made last min rush and ruined the entire first day of the trip. If there is an such scenario owner should inform early so we could change our plans or look any other hostel.

I booked the hostel from the hostelworld app as i arrived late to Goa. but to my surprise the owner said i dont have any bed and then he took me to a nearby property which was pathetic and cant be called a hostel. It was a nightmare and very rude behaviour on part of the management.

decent hostel in cheap price...not good if you are planning a proper vacation...just good for a single night in case of emergencies...

Not brilliant. I booked an AC dorm, very important for me in the tropical heat but when I arrived the man said that they'd given my bed away and I had a non AC room. I insisted and he did eventually say he'd sort something out which he did but this was a bad start. I liked the courtyard, social area with lots of shade. Room was okay. There were some issues with guests including a girl coming in late and smoking a joint inside the room but not the owners fault. It was at least cheap.

Cool non-pretentious place 2 mins to Anjuna beach. Vibe is super chill & the manager, Maddy is very prompt & helpful to all guests' needs. Recommend

We had a really nice time! With the hostel owner Maddy and all the other guests it felt like a family. It was perfect for our aim of partying and relaxing, especially with the close by beach. The rooms were okay. We got a locker for our personal belongings. We would definitely visit again.

What an amazing hostel this is! Maddy is such an incredible host, super friendly and chill! It is located right next to the best beach in Goa! Recommend getting an AC room as the nights can get very hot! Would have stayed for way longer if possible!

Great environment if you’re looking for an adventure and you don’t mind sharing spaces. Was a great place to meet friends. staff was so lovely and laid back; we had access to fridge and kitchen, kettle etc so you have the opportunity to make your own coffee etc.
