Yes so for the price you get what you pay for yes indeed there are roaches and I think bed bugs as well I wasn't able to find any but I did have a bite which I know it comes from bed bugs because I am allergic to them. And one of the reflux that we saw but we continue to bucket was that when we were booking it ask If We Wanted to secure our reservation meaning if we didn't like it we could cancel it and we wouldn't be charged not only once but twice. And we had read the reviews but we kind of ignored them. So this is what we went with our booking was because we were just staying one night as we are exploring Puerto Rico so we weren't really looking for something nice as it's just a one night. My suggestion is if you're just being a one-time night it's fine but if you're thinking of staying several nights I would reconsider it

I like a face towel, that would’ve been nice

BED BUGS! Affordable place with free coffee in the morning. The front desk has to let you in since the door is locked at all times. The area is sketchy but located very close to bus lines T5 and T21 if you want a cheap way to get around and are willing to wait ~40 minutes. Also located by some good cheap food trucks and restaurants. I recommend Abracadabra, a 2 min walk for excellent brunch. AC works good. Shower water gets nice and hot but you might prefer a cool shower because of the weather haha. No shampoo or body wash provided, I got my own from the Walmart nearby. I knew what I was risking being cheap. I stayed a week on a spontaneous trip and by the third day I was covered in bites from all the bed bugs. Shower mat is a cut in half towel. Decide for yourself if the cash you save is worth the diminished comfort. Would not stay again but I think i got a good deal for a week of sunbathing and wandering in Old San Juan.
