Tric Trac Hostel

During our stay, water poured through the ceiling of our room and got a lot of our most important stuff wet - like electronics, wallets, passports. It seemed that the water wasn't clean -- we were worried that it came from a toilet, or maybe it was just bath/shower water. We didn't want to stay for a second night, however, the staff said we could change rooms, but that we couldn't cancel the second night. It was frustrating.

This was the worst hostel stay. They refused to put the AC on a normal level claiming the government doesn't allow below 26 degrees in public spaces. The room is not a public space. Our room was at 27 the entire night (80F) and no air circulation. I couldn't sleep/was sweating the entire night. I might as well have just slept on the hot sidewalk outside. Yes, some people can handle hot temps. Some folks can't. If you are going to market having AC, you better use it or stop marketing it.

Overtly aggressive security guards who will scream at you for coming in too late. Cleaning people took the towel I rented and I had to pay for a new one. I really wanted to like this hostel and some of the staff were great - but it did not feel safe and the security guards acted more like bouncers than someone actually looking out for the hostel.

It is a very nice hostel but a bit overpriced. Not to far away from the metro but to the hostel it’s all uphill and with a lot of luggage it’s tricky. Staff tried to check in 4 people at once. Security was very good, you can’t enter the hostel in the evening without the bracelet they give you which makes you feel very safe.

The Hostel is overall nice and in a great locations. The room was cleaned everyday but I think there may be mold/mildew in the bathroom because it had a pretty bad smell. Small kitchen and fridge. Free breakfast was nothing special but convenient! Karaoke night is very loud so be warned!

Rude and noisy staff: every morning at 11 AM they entered to the room talking too loud. When we asked if they could be a little quieter, they answered "we are neapolitans, we are like that, if you don't like it, you can leave the hostel"

The reception staff was very helpful, the staff at the bar in the evening was helpful too, but a bit overbearing and kept on trying to get me to talk to people I had no interest in talking to. The showers didn't have soap even though there were broken dispensers. Overall it was fairly loud, as the doors aren't sealed so you hear everything happening in the large stairwell. The breakfast was okay for the price, the pastries and the coffee could be better, but the juices and joghurt were nice.

It was way too loud - if you want to go there (it is a good hostel, but a bit to expensive for me) insist on not having a room in the 4th floor. Also they make you wear a bracelet, which marks you for the whole stay there… anyways very friendly staff, cool events and nice guests

Very bad experience. Tric Tac Hostel charged me a fee just to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout, which I’ve never seen in any hostel before. On top of that, the night staff was rude and unfriendly and did not allow me to wait in the lobby area at all. No hospitality, no respect for guests. I do not recommend this hostel.

Being a person of colour, I was asked to show my hostel ribbon everytime I entered, that was still not bad. One night I was feeling not sleep and called some friend 4am in morning, I was chilling in common area to be disturbed by security guard to ask me if I live here, while I was wearing the ribbon. Just very odd experience.

it was my first time staying in a hostel it was more than amazing. the staff at tric trac hostel were super kind, friendly, and always helpful. they made me feel comfortable from the first moment. the atmosphere was great, everything was clean and well organized, and i really enjoyed my stay there. definitely not my last time. i’ll for sure come back again. highly recommended!

Estuvimos dos noches con mi novia en una habitación de 8 mixta con baño privado. Habitación amplia con balcón pero sin cortina de cama. Lockers debajo de las literas con llave. Baño amplio con ducha y bidet. Punto positivo es que fuera de la habitación había otro baño que podía usarse. Desayuno bien y el personal muy bien. La primera noche hubo pastas gratis. Volvería a este hostel.

I wasn't a fan of Napoli, but the hostel with its guests and its enthusiastic hosts made it very pleasant for me. Would stay here again!

Super auberge, le staff était très gentil et serviable! Les activités organisées les soirs étaient super pour rencontrer du monde. J'étais dans un dortoir où nous étions 12, la chambre et les salles de bains étaient toujours très propre. Le quartier était calme pour Naples et proche des endroits clés à visiter, je recommande :))

This hostel was great Nathan and Augustina really made it top tier though. Super caring and considerate and went out of their way to help me when I needed it. I will be recommending this hostel to anyone thinking of going to Naples.

Tric Trac is awesome and is especially great thanks to the staff and volunteers. The rooms get quite packed, but other than that, everyone about this hostel is wonderful.

Super auberge de jeunesse, très bien situé à Naples, propre, qui propose de très bonnes soirées/activités. Super terrasse pour se poser et manger au dernier étage.

The staff here are the best I've experienced at a hostel. Clean and very safe. If your room faces out to the piazza it can be very loud at night.

Superbe auberge, idéalement située à proximité du centre historique et du quartier espagnol. Les locaux sont modernes, propres et lumineux. L’équipe est sympathique et professionnelle, pour obtenir des renseignements et animer les soirées (Karaoké ou jeux de société). Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais satisfaisant. Je recommande vivement.

Great hostel for the price, staff is amazing and nice, good Program in the evening if u like that and of course the guests are fun as well

The hostel is perfect if you want to stay some days and meet people. They offer a lot of events and ways to stay in touch. They have lockers with keys and I felt very safe during my stay.

This is a very lovely hostel. They had some events going on they could have advertised them a little better but besides that it is a good hostel.

I only stayed 1 night, but from my short stay I can say this is a great hostel! I’m a solo female traveller who arrived at an awkward time in the morning so couldn’t check in for a long time. Special shout out to the security man that morning who allowed me to not only leave my bags but also for me to stay in the hostel for a while until the sun came up- this was very kind. That goes for all the staff I also met in my short stay. This is a clean and secure hostel. I would recommend.
