В целом не плохой очень социальный хостел, за исключением того, что кондиционеры не обслуживаются никогда и распыляют грибок, которым я заразился легкими. Я не один такой кто начинал кашлять в этом хостеле, это очень опасно для здоровья, мне пришлось сменить хостел
The wifi doesn’t work at all and the staff then tried to gaslight me and say that my phone was the problem.
Old, a bit dirty vibe, like a run down kindergarten. A lot green plastic grass in the house and terrace. Very young crowd. Ok facilities. It’s annoying that there is no space for luggage in the rooms, they have to stay in lockers outside. Too much in the middle of the white people party district.
Disappointing Experience I booked a 3-day stay at Khaosan Social Hostel but checked out within hours. Arriving at 3 AM, I was shown to a 12-bed shared room that felt like a jail—bad smell, wet towels hung everywhere, and a claustrophobic vibe. The door only opens with a key, which added to the inconvenience. And anything you want from your bad , you need to go out of the room to your locker. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone.
Pros: Staff are great and very helpful Cons: The restaurant downstairs turns into a club and blasts loud music until early morning. The female dorm is right above it so you cannot sleep even with ear plugs. It feels like you’re in the club

Il s'avère que l'agence avec laquelle la journée est organisée promeut l'elephant riding, crocodile show, traite d'animaux tropicaux: photos avec loris, serpents.... (+) Comfortable beds, curtains, clean showers, easy to meet other travelers. (-)Big red flag for us, we trusted the hostel and booked a floating market excursion. it turns out that the agency with which the day is organized promotes elephant riding, crocodile show, tropical animal trafficking: photos with lorises, snakes.... so we gave money to an agency for whom we do not share the values. for that, this hostel does not correspond at all to our values. I advise against it.
Dorm room door wouldn’t lock. Property didn’t match photographs. Staff weren’t so helpful.
La localisation et le service étaient top. Cependant le female dorm dans lequel j’étais n’a vraiment pas été une bonne expérience pour moi. J’avais une « capsule » directement au sol en face de la porte qui n’en est pas vraiment une et qui n’isole donc pas du tout du bruit des espaces communs juste devant. Le rideau ne fermait pas vraiment et donc je n’ai pas du tout ressenti l’expérience capsule et l’intimité. Je ne sais pas si c’est le cas pour toutes les chambres ...
I stayed here two nights then I moved to a private room with shared bathroom in a nice family run guesthouse towards the River and the little park. My private AC room with queensize bed, large window and blackout curtains with a delicious Thai restaurant in the first floor run by the family was the same price or maybe 5% cheaper than a bunkbed in this hostel. No es un albergue cápsula como tal. Mucho ruido en las habitaciones, además de tener el aire acondicionado muy fuerte.
