Staff was friendly. The place was very dirty, not well maintained, shower didn't drain properly so you were standing in filthy water, it was an old house so the layout was unwelcoming, they used the bathroom to store all their old paint and junk which gave it a gross basement feeling. AC was so weak and would stay at 24 even when you turned it down. The AC would also shut off in the middle of the night even when turned back on. Not social at all. They allow flea covered street cats inside. 2/10

Not recommended.

My room had no Windows, so no air, And was very very too small. There was a motor outside on the left and another one on the right! So difficult to sleep. In my country this sort of room is prohibited.

really small room (singel room), no window, noisy because somehow next to some machine/waterpump. Din't sleep...

I really loved this place! Not for the cleanliness of the facilities, but for the atmosphere and the happy staff. You truly feel welcome in the bohemian secret spot. I will definetly come to this place, if I ever need a hostel in central bangkok again.

The beds are very Hard but otgerwise it was okay

not very social at all, a few long term stayers and the location is down a long street that kinda feels like an alley, it was fine for one night but definitely not a social place if that's what your looking for

J’ai pris une chambre seul car je devais partir très tôt le matin, la chambre a juste la place pour le lit et encore… aucune fenêtre ou possibilité d’aérer la chambre

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Home16 und hatten ein privates Zimmer mit Bad. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und es gib diverse Kaffees, Restaurants und Bars in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Die U-Bahn und Skytrain Station Asok ist innerhalb von 10min zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war Sauber, hatte aber keine Fenster nach draussen. Die Klimaanlage war direkt über dem Bett montiert und einem die ganze Nacht an, was relativ unangenehm ist.

chill haven on a side street away from the craziness of sukhamvit but close enough to malls, public transport. sweet outdoor area to hang out, lots of plants. even a guitar to play. my priv room had no windows but was comfortable. not the most social but i met some good folx in the common areas. front desk was very kind. close to restaurants, 711, watsons, cafes.

a really nice and relaxed hostel, it has a small outdoor space but was nice to sit there and hang with people. I stayed one night in a dorm and one in a private room, both good value for money. location is good for BKK airport but further from khao san and the temples near there, but it's right by a beautiful park that is worth a visit

ich war gleich zwei Mal in dieser Unterkunft im Einzelzimmer. Das Home16 ist ein entspannter Ort, um im Trubel der Stadt etwas runterzufahren. Das Personal war sehr nett und ich konnte auch schon früher einchecken, als ich mit dem Nachtzug früh morgens ankam.

Really sweet hostel in a good neighborhood (eventhough a bit expensive). The hostel has two buildings. The main building is really cute with a little restaurant and a sweet garden area. The other house is a bit older/less cute but the rooms are still totally okay/good and I did feel safe all the time. The stuff is really really sweet so it was always a pleasure talking to them:) So all in all a good place to stay at.

Really lovely place with a beautiful garden which can be quite vibey in the evenings. The rooms and bathrooms can feel a little cramped and dated and therefore difficult to fully enjoy - but nothing to worry about. Staff are great and location is pretty central to anything in Sukhumvit.

If you’re looking for a place to come home to where it’s peaceful but still can produce a lot of energy, this place is for you. Lovely garden and bar where you can chat, relax and still be in the heart or Sukhumvit. Wonderful receptionists, great service, bed is comfortable and a lot of cats that are so friendly. If I were to go back to Bangkok, I would most certainly stay here again.

Good location, good atmosphere with cute garden/bar space. Owner/lady at reception working the evening was lovely!

Home16 is really one of the best hostels I've ever stayed... in a great spot with busy Bangkok right there if you want it.. but the hostel itself feels like a paradise. Calm, relaxed, green, chill! Staff are all amazing, so kind and nice, with really delicious food and drinks on offer in the yummy cafe. The rooms are clean and maintained every day to a high standard! Overall an incredible place to stay in Bangkok and genuinely somewhere I would recommend for anyone... I hope I am back!! Thanks!!

ein sehr gutes Hostel! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, es gab gratis Wasser und die Zimmer waren auch groß mit einem großen Bad. Man hatte genug Platz um sich hinzusetzen oder zu arbeiten, das fand ich echt gut!

A little jewel close to Sukhumvit. Loved its homey and safe atmosphere. I'm going to come back for sure.

I had a Double bedroom, with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was shared but always clean. It was quite and the main entrance with the Bar had a cozy atmosphere. Wifi was also good.

Very nice, quiet, and spacious hostel, perfect for relaxing after a long day in the chaos of Bangkok. The area is well-stocked and the staff are always helpful. I can only recommend it and will definitely stay here again if passing from Bangkok :)

Amazing hostel. a little garden in the middle of bangkok. very kind staff who helped you with eveything. most comfortable bed i have slept in thailand and also very quiet during the night!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The rooms were incredibly spacious. It made a huge difference to have enough room to relax, unpack, and feel at home. The staff were equally fantastic. Everyone I met was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions, give recommendations, and make sure guests had everything they needed. Their friendliness created a really positive atmosphere throughout the whole stay. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations.

The hostel was nice and clean, but I would only recommend coming there if you are into smoking weed. The entire garden smelled like it and the people were smoking joint after joint... They were kind people, but tha was not my thing at all which made the entire experience a lot less good.
