CLOUD on Saladaeng Silom Hostel Bangkok

I do not recommend this hostel at all. I paid for an all female room and woke up to a half naked man roaming around in my room in his under wear. Dirty stinky ladies bathroom. The toilet smells like a porta-potty. There is no wall in the bathroom just a wide open space to the outside lined with bamboo. There is no air conditioner in the hostel only the rooms have air conditioner. You will be drenched in sweat just from walking from your room to the bathroom. The atmosphere is depressing.

Not a social hostel at all which is what I wanted, but wouldn't have been ideal if I wanted to meet others. Comfortable bed and nice hot showers. Very clean and nice facilities. I was in a private room, but walls were thin so I would be woken up by other people if they were loud in the hallway.Manager was super helpful.

Im not sure if i was unlucky given all the great reviews, but I didnt love this place. It all feels kinda dark in the shared areas and especially the shower, its not social at all, staff arent friendly and it was just empty. The beds are comfy, its clean and free water/coffee/ toast was good. But i think there are better places out there for the money. Also the whole building is open plan, so its always hot everywhere except your room. Didnt feel like a nice place to hang out.

We enjoyed our stay, but we didn’t have privat lockers and it wasn’t really a social hostel.

Gutes Hostel, sehr sauber und super Zimmer, wir waren gefühlt die einzigen Leute im Hostel, in unserem zwei-tägigen Aufenthalt haben wir niemand anderen gesehen, ab ca 18 Uhr ist auch niemand mehr an der Rezeption, schönes Hostel und sehr sauber aber wirkt sehr verlassen

Amazing location in Bangkok. We had a private room with shared bathroom. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom easily accessible and clean. Staff very kind and friendly. The only downside was there was very noisy building works going on from about 11am - 5pm. Would stay here again if there were no building works!

Really great hostel! So clean and I felt really safe there. They had lockers for bags and a safe in each bed. Would really recommend for a relaxed stay. There wasn’t much of a social aspect and people kept to themselves but if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll love it here!

Perfect hostel to relax with comfy beds and nice common areas. Not much going on though.

Lovely stay! I enjoyed the hostel. My room was very comfortable. I think I was the only female on the 3 rd floor as I never saw another person in the female restroom on that floor. Beautiful place.

It's a cool place in a great area with tons of food options, malls, and clubs nearby. If you want to explore a new area of Bangkok while still being close to Siam - this would be the place. Rooms are clean and cool, and the bathrooms are open-air with good ventilation. The lobby is open-air too, it can be a little muggy at times but I had fun playing pool with other people. Aether is worth checking out too.

After 4 months of travelling, I really needed somewhere chilled and quiet to stay and this is exactly what I got! Probably not somewhere to stay if you want to be really social. The hostel was lovely, very calming and relaxing. I liked that it was out of the city center, but still not far by grab bike. Bathrooms were always spotless.

Best hostel ive been in. super affordable, yet makes you feel like you are in a luxury castle. super modern. super clean. bunks very spatious and comfortable. amenities complete. everything clean. zero complaints. even the guests somehow seem to absorb the calm atmosphere and at keast on my stay were all very quiet and respectful.

I really enjoyed my stay here, although it was only for 1 night… the room was basic but clean and the shared bathrooms were also very clean! Loved the lockers on site, and free facilities downstairs. It was quiet and everyone was very chill but friendly, would recommend!

good location, felt safe to walk around alone. staff was very kind and helpful. everything looked clean and atmosphere was chill.

Showers were a bit cold but overall the stay was excellent and clean.

Great spot if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and clean/tidy place to stay. Well located and felt very safe! Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for one night and really loved it. The hostel was quiet, beautiful, and very clean, exactly what I needed after a long travel day. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, and everything was well taken care of.

I’ve been to Bangkok twice, and both times I’ve stayed at the Cloud! The beds are SO comfortable, the bathrooms have a hairdryer and place to dry clothes, the fridge and kitchen are a huge plus. The common area is so cozy with cushions and beanbags to relax. I love the location, close to many things to do and public transport, but hidden so it’s not noisy at all. Not the most social place but I personally love the quiet and peaceful vibe! I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in Bangko...
