+ Extremely poor management. Stuff is extremely unhappy . They dont allow check in , take lot of time to clean rooms .

+ La posizione anche se un po' fuori dal centro di Old Manali (10 minuti a piedi e Old Manali è più carina della New) permette una buona vista sulla valle o sulla montagna. Frequentato da molti giovani. Le camere migliori sono sul retro (vista bosco) altrimenti vedi le solite costruzioni non terminate (pilastri e cemento e ferraglia) e sulla dx un angolo di frutteto e il bosco del tempio vicino. A fine ottobre fa già freddo ma a richiesta ci hanno dato una stufetta elettrica.
- Il sistema di concierge virtuale è terribile. Devi gestirti in autonomia qualsiasi operazione anche ordinare un te, la colazione etc. La colazione all'indiana è molto ridotta e molte delle scelte sul menu non sono disponibili. Non accettano le carte Visa internazionali (che uso da più di 2 mesi tranquillamente) e quindi devi pagare in contanti nonostante vari tentativi con diversi sistemi di pagamento. Nella fattura finale non appaiono i costi dei servizi (te, caffè, sandwich, ) che devi pagare in contanti senza alcuna ricevuta direttamente al personale. Attenzione...pagamento immediatamente all'arrivo altrimenti Booking cancella immediatamente la prenotazione

- The balcony view room provided was actually blocked, and had nothing . Even on requesting staff, they didn’t shift my room for the next day as well

- 1. The hosteller rooms are not made with customization to the place with respect to weather like no heaters, not so good blankets or pullovers to keep away from cold 2. We were being denied heaters just because it was a dorm room 3. Extra chargers were being taken (yet staff were hesitant to provide ) for heaters even though Manali is a place where its cold over the year and it snows during the winter 2. Lacked human touch 3. Staff were rude (they behaved as if they were doing us a favour just for providing heater which we paid extra for and could not provide fire wood for bonfires which happens every night) 4. The accommodation were fine but didn't live upto the hype and money charged 5. They didn't even have fire woods for bonfires even though bonfires in the evenings are the hype of The Hosteller 6. Address provided is false and highly misleading. It took us 30 mins just to identify where it is actually located in 7. Even after booking, there is no way you can contact the respective The Hosteller property for address or any requestes etc. Overall, the accommodations were fine but could have been better with respect to the amount charged and facilities being provided. It didn't live upto the hype but still nice to visit I would prefer other hotels and accommodation if I come next time.

I had two main issues during my stay. My co-passenger was in a 6-bed female dorm, and unfortunately, five people in the room were part of a group that disturbed her late at night. As for me, I stayed in a 4-bed mixed dorm near the reception, and there was a loud argument over the phone near the reception area. It was quite disruptive, yet no staff members seemed to take any action.
The property is in one of the coldest cities of Old Manali. Yet they didn’t have basic amenities as heater & Warm blankets as an inclusion. They rent it out on just over $10AUD each per day. They were not one of the cheapest ones but there were basic amenities on rent to make it worst. Property didn’t even have a lift and we felt like we were in the gym losing our calories by going up and down.
There was no common room to chill.

Very social hostel and friendly staff! Location is beautiful. Nice livingroom and garden. Only quite a lot of noise, wich I didn’t mind to much with wearing headphones, but it’s not the most quite hostel if you are looking for silence

+ The guys at the counter were very helful.sorry forgot his name but he was a maharashtrian and very helpful as we had not downloaded the app.it hostel room was simple and had all the things we needed for the stay.
