Tribu Hostel

Lo que sí cambió —para mal— fue mi experiencia en Tribu Hostel. La cama número 3 tiene chinches. No es una exageración. Es literal. Durante tres días, mi cuerpo fue la prueba: manos, cuello, piel marcada. No fue una incomodidad menor. Fue una invasión. Dormir dejó de ser descanso. Se volvió alerta, picazón, molestia constante. Sugiero revisar protocolos de fumigación, control de plagas y supervisión de camas. El día del check-out, mientras aún estaba en las instalaciones, comenzaron a barrer desde el segundo piso y el polvo cayó hacia abajo, sobre mí. Puede parecer un detalle pequeño, pero habla de cuidado y atención. No es solo infraestructura. Es experiencia. Es respeto por quien se hospeda.

It’s a good, social hostel if you’re staying in a dorm and keen to do activities, go out etc. The staff are also very nice. We’re a couple and booked a private room which was by far the most expensive of our trip. The room was near the bar so we couldn’t sleep til 1am. The room was also pretty basic for the price (no bedside tables, hairdryer). We found a huge cockroach in the bathroom which got in through the ceiling, and got bitten by bedbugs. The kitchen was also quite dirty. Overpriced!

We enjoyed our stay overall at Tribu, although had a problem with bed bugs in our dorm room the first night - so check your beds! The staff handled it very well and moved us to a private room for the rest of our stay. Be aware some of the private rooms do not have AC and are very hot. We also experienced power cuts on and off the entirety of our stay meaning no water for showers or loos as well as no working fans!! - not necessarily tribus fault but they could have provided more information or support for t

The staff were lovely, the free yoga every morning was amazing and they put on a lot of activities. However, during our stay my partner found bedbugs in his bed and I have bedbug bites all over my body, including my eyelids. It's quite expensive too.
