Revolution Hostel Asoke

There was no water. The sinks, showers, and toilets did not work. There was poop in the bathrooms and the entire hostel smelled horrendous. We poured water bottles on ourselves to try and shower. There were roaches. We paid for breakfast and the service was canceled.

One of my worst hostel experiences. First and foremost when I checked in, I had some questions regarding the city and the staff were not helpful whatsoever with any of my questions. Second, i got my laptop stolen which obviously isn’t the hostels fault, but I asked the staff if the least they could do was check the cameras, and they refused. And third. The water was off for the entirety of my stay, I couldn’t shower, or even wash my hands. Horrible hostel. Terrible service.

This hostel is definitely not a 9/10 ! I had ants in my bed after I checked in. There is just one sink for the whole floor (2/3 Dorms). One out of two showers have a space to your clothes. Otherwise you can throw them on the ground. It’s all about drinking and I can imagine that’s where the good reviews come from. The location is good except of that the street smells like weed all day and night and. I absolutely don’t recommend this hostel!

genuinely one of the worst hostels i’ve stayed in, the bathrooms were extremely dim and messy with broken pipes, shelving left in the cubicles, bed curtains didn’t close all the way and the airconditioning is turned off during the daytime with no ventilation in the room. the location wasn’t that amazing too. I had to switch hostels after an night and requested for a refund for the remaining nights but they refused. the place could use with some upkeep given the price

Pros: Great location. Near to BTS and the Metro. Cons: 1. The manager was rude and racist towards the Indians. 2. The turn off the AC in the daytime. So everyone are forced to go outside or stay in the lobby (not big enough though) 3. Beds are small and narrow. If you are more than 175cm you will suffer 4. Everything is old. Washrooms are not clean enough. 5. There is two big trash can in the front door and they are always leaking. Not a good first impression. 6. The manager was very rud...

My experience here fell short of expectations. Check-in was disorganized. The staff member at the front appeared unfamiliar with the process, which made arrival feel uncomfortable. During my stay, staff entered my room and woke me to ask if I was checking out, even though my departure was scheduled for the following day. Cleanliness was also an issue. The upstairs chairs and mats in front of the showers look like they don't get cleaned. In the room, only 1 outlet in bed, and the mattress is hard

The only reason I stayed here second time was because of their breakfast. I even put a 10/10 review for that last time, but this time the staff was not really so friendly and I felt judged. Also the worst thing they didn't serve the food that I expected, the banana pancakes :( Why would you do that, the option is there Breakfast is included in the booking but you are giving bread and butter with jam? Wow I am not staying here again

Totally not what I expected

J’avais réservé deux nuits. J’ai décidé de quitter les lieux après une nuit (sans remboursement) car je n’ai pas réussi à dormir pour plusieurs raisons: 1- le bruit de la circulation toute la nuit 2- le matelas où je sentais les ressorts et qui étais très dur 3- des personnes qui appelaient dans les parties communes (à côté de la porte de ma chambre), qui mettaient la musique fort dans la douche. Ensuite, la personne responsable était très sèche, pas du tout accueillante.

Don't stay in the top bunk beds, there are beams in the cieling sticking out and if you are normal sized, you are going to hit your head if you try and sit up in the top bed. My bed had only very wonky power outlets, with 1 or 2 certain positions, that allowed me to charge my phone etc. - one movement and it was gone. All other beds in my room had USB ports, so maybe my bed was the last one without them. In sukhumvit, so great location and close to the blue and green line.

Perfect location aye was wonderful

Loved my stay at the Revolution Asoke. Perfect location close to the BTS and MRT. Terminal 21 with it's amazing cheap food court is also there. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out. The staff ar amazing and really friendly.

EXTREMELY run down, mould everywhere , breaking furniture, beds are so hard and squeaky, curtains are held up by cable wire and zip locks, 1 blanket with cold air con and the staff take the controls so had no control over temperature, was freezing , just very run down and absolutely 0 atmosphere, wouldn't stay here agan, but if you're low on money and this is an only option it's manageable. Also no lift and lots of stairs so heavy luggage is difficult

It's a good hostel if you're looking for a place to crash but the social aspect is non existent and it's located right next to the red light district which just wasn't my vibe.

Hostel globalement assez agréable, quoiqu’un peu rustique et très bien située (proche BTS ASOK, MRT SUKHUMVIT, TERMINAL 21) personnel très gentil et arrangeant.

Truthfully, if you’re simply looking for a very cheap place to sleep in and cover your basic needs, this will work fine. Location is good as well. But if you’re looking for a hostel with more social energy, vibrant space and good way to meet people and welcome you to the country, I wouldn’t recommend it. Building is old, there’s no social event offered to bring people together. It’s simply a cheap place to stay. Staff were very kind though.

No complaints, great chill place, great location, friendly staff.

This is how my parents described hostels were like in the 80s. Bare bones, concrete, gritty. The host was lovely and breakfast great. Go here if you want to support a local business and need no frills

very accommodating and clean Free breakfast in the morning. Old but comfortable hostel with good location and nice rooftop.

I was there for a night after staying at a hotel for a few days before catching a flight the next day. It's quiet and the lobby has AC if you need a place to work or chill. It's very close to all the action on Sukhumvit Road. The Terminal 21 Mall nearby has a street food court on the top floor - worth checking out.

small old hostel but very calm away from chaos. They have free breakfast simple one but good deal withyhe bed price.

I had à comfortable stay in this small hostel, good aircon, clean bed, clean shared bathroom and toilet good location and nice rooftop. The staffs are the highlight of my stay they are very kind.
