Amanta Hotel & Residence Ratchada

- 房間有很多螞蟻，床鋪上有，整晚都覺得身體很癢；桌上也有，手機放上去充電五分鐘就爬滿螞蟻，跟櫃檯反應完全沒得到任何處理。

+ Room is spacious & clean. Double bed was bigger than a king bed.

- Had to walk in via the road to the hotel (no footpath), dark at night. Also, it's my first time encountering a hotel charging a penalty for loss of keycard (300 baht).

+ Swimming pool and Gym are nice.

- Can you help to prevent flooding on the road at the entrance leading to the Amanta Hotel. At least provide a free transport to ferry guest across this flooding area. I see all guests have to remove the shoes and socks to get through the water. I grab a motor cycle to help me get across the flooding stretch of this road

+ I usually stay at Amanta Sathorn (which we really like) but it was booked out so thought to try their Ratchada location. This seems to be older than the Sathorn property , though rooms were still clean and serviceable. Felt like a repurposed condo estate, had resort vibes.

- The property itself was fine but service was unpleasant. No one greeted us when we arrived, no one at reception ever gave us a smile. Housekeeping took really long to deliver the extra drinking cups we requested. On check out, housekeeping claimed we had taken a three of the cheap paper fabric laundry bags (one of our party took one) from one of the three apartments we were in. Apparently laundry bags are chargeable at 400baht per bag. Happy to pay but (1) there was no notice that the bags were not to be removed, (2) that there is a charge for the bags, and most importantly (3) we had taken one but were accused of taking 3. When challenged, reception staff told us he "will believe us" with a smirk. Very unpleasant stay, was sorely disappointed because service at their Sathorn property is always warm and homely and we were expecting similar here. Do not recommend.

+ Mooi, schoon hotel, op 5 minuten lopen van de metro. Hele grote kamer met balkon, fijn zwembad en goed ontbijt.

+ Excellent accommodation , very friendly staff , room very clean and tidy , housekeeper did excellent job each day. I will definitely be back at Amanata
