Pelo mesmo podia ter ficado em hotel com piscina, pequeno almoço, dentro da cidade velha. Embora tivessemos direito ao pequeno almoço, optamos por comer noutro local. No último dia, a funcionária do bar prontificou-se para preparar um pequeno almoço para levar-mos para o aeroporto o que aceitamos. I could have stayed in a hotel with a swimming pool, breakfast, inside the old town. although we had the right to breakfast, we opted to eat in another place. on the last day, the bar clerk prepared a breakfast to take us to the airport or we accepted. maybe because we preferred meat seasoned with salt, we didn't like chicken or egg sandwiches bacon and cheese, which were excessively sweet sweets. as for Nuna and the servants, they were always attentive.
Veryyyyy chill hostel with a weird vibe! People stay here long term so wouldn't recommend it for backpackers The main entrance can only be entered with a key card but everyone can access the room as it is never locked… A lot of options for the free breakfast but has to be ordered a day in advance + the taste was mediocre Rooms were super clean but that was not the case for the showers (soaked carpets? in the shower) Hard mattress & Social area very small There are better hostel in the area!
On était pas loin de l’idéal. On commence par le négatif le LIT. Vraiment, le pire lit de toute ma vie. L’impression de dormir a même le sol, dur comme une planche en bois. Et malheureusement c’est hyper important. Tout le reste était parfait, l’emplacement, décoré avec soin, des petites intentions formidables, le sandwich à emporter pour le breakfast ou même sur place. Rien à dire vraiment sauf malheureusement la literie qui reste un point très important.
Very clean and safe. Not somewhere to be social or expect that kind of atmosphere. Everyone kind of keeps to themselves. Front desk staff are helpful in planning your trip and can arrange cheap transport to Pai. One thing I will say is the sound CARRIES in this place and it can be a bit loud trying to get to sleep even though no one is being obnoxious- just noises from the doors and bathrooms outside reallllly carries. A fan would help. Also there is no personal outlet in the bunks.
I really enjoyed my stay at Amaka hostel, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great location and clean facilities. The breakfast included is delicious and they replaced it with a packed lunch on a tour day when I had to be out early, which was a nice touch. ☺️
Cute cafe serving free breakfast to guests & clean and nicely decorated rooms. Owners were friendly and made an effort to help you out. Excellent location in centre would stay here again.
I could not speak more highly of the staff, they were absolutely amazing. The showers were also fantastic - especially during songkran. A little but on the more expensive side, although it does include breakfast so was worth it. Also a little small, which can make socialising tough as there only seems to be 1 dorm.
Really comfortable, quiet hostel. Free delicious breakfast in the cafe next door included in price, beds are comfortable with curtain, socket and light, and staff are attentive and kind, especially Nuna on reception. They also run a 200 baht bus to Pai, which is about 300 baht cheaper than most places. Would recommend!
A really wonderful hostel! As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and happy - there’s such a lovely atmosphere. The staff are super helpful, breakfast was delicious and the rooms are clean and thoughtfully furnished. We loved it so much we’ll probably be back soon!
This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! We had the private room which was super spacious, very clean, and comfy bed. The staff are honestly what make this place so great, they’re the kindest, sweetest, helpful, most patient people and couldn’t thank them more for an amazing stay! Also breakfast is 10/10! Can’t wait to come back already :)

Great hostel, staff were friendly and polite. Bed was comfortable and great privacy and aircon. The breakfast was great and bathrooms very clean. Not a social hostel but great overall.
My favorite Hostel y Chiang Mai. It was so nice and quiet, very clean and bed super confortable. A must if you want to explore the city but go to a place for only resting right after. Staff incredible nice, super good breakfast. not that social but u can easily meet people in there
Best hostel I stayed in, the staff was amazing and pack us breakfast for the day because we had an early flight. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were spacious and comfy and you had a lot of privacy. Breakfast options are plenty and it's really good, not your average toast and egg breakfast unlike other hostels
Amazing stay in a private room here. Gives boutique hotel vibes, such friendly staff and great options for breakfast. Helpful organising some great tours and helpful local recommendations. Cannot recommend enough!
10/10 for every category! I stayed for almost two weeks and the service was great with very friendly staff and it was clean all throughout. I highly recommend this quiet and relaxing hostel for anyone wanting a warm, chill atmosphere with staff that's always willing to help with any situation. Thank you for everything, Amaka!!
I loved my stay! I stayed in the dorms and the room was incredibly clean with lots of privacy. The common rooms were very cozy, the breakfast was incredible, the location was super convenient, and the staff were lovely. The team regularly offered different tours and arranged groups so the cost wouldn’t be too high. I stayed here twice and would absolutely recommend!
Einen Aufenthalt im Amaka B&B kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen! Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, alles sauber, super bequeme Betten. Tolles Frühstück inbegriffen, Wäscheservice für einen geringen Aufpreis verfügbar. Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt und habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

I really loved my stay at Amaka! The front desk ladies were always so nice, helpful and friendly! They were able to book excursions and send out laundry too. Location is pretty good too with small night market close by, lotus express and the walled city within a 5 minute walk. Not super social, but I did meet some people there!
muy limpio y bonito todo!! cómodas las camas, tenías locker y privacidad. La mejor parte de todas es el desayuno ya que cuentan con un café y puedes elegir sobre su menú. Es increíble!! 100% recomendado
Everything is clean and nice!! the beds are comfortable, you have a locker and privacy. the best part of all is the breakfast as they have a café and you can choose from their menu. it's amazing!! 100% highly recommended
La estancia aquí ha sido maravillosa. Fue el primer lugar donde me alojé en Tailandia y me sentí muy cuidada y ayudada. Las instalaciones muy limpias y ordenadas. Un poco de movimiento en la habitación y la localización no era la más cómoda pero por lo demás genial
The stay here has been wonderful. it was the first place i stayed in thailand and i felt very cared for and helped. the facilities very clean and tidy. a little movement in the room and the location was not the most comfortable but otherwise great
Absolutely loved my stay here. The people running it are so lovely, my room was clean and cosy and the breakfast every day was superb. Hostel location is good - right outside the city walls with a local night market and other stores within 3 mins walk. It was perfect. I was so sad to leave!
Really highly recommend this place. Very very clean and high quality. The staff is super nice and there is a very relaxed atmosphere. Special shoutout to the girl serving the breakfast, she is the sweetest!!

The perfect place to stay if you need rest or an escape from the hustle of travel. The staff was so sweet. I felt so safe and at peace here. The bed was clean, private, and comfy. I also got a free meal and coffee with the stay, which was soooo nice.
