DO NOT STAY HERE!! I honestly don't know how this place has such good reviews, it's filthy dirty! I ended up having to leave late at night, unable to stay in the room because the stench was awful!! I was physically sick! I went back the next morning to inform them that I didn't use the bed or stay the night and they refused to give me a refund! Awful customer service and a terrible business! I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The mattress was badly sunken, the room felt dirty, and the rooftop was nothing like the photos—no furniture, just bare concrete. The staff was shockingly rude, even telling us we weren’t welcome in Thailand. Easily the worst experience I’ve had in 3 months here. Completely misleading and not worth a single baht. air con doesn’t get turned on till 5pm (we had to tell them to turn ours on as they forgot) staff were rude and gave us our washing back very wet, breakfast was bread or bananas, the curtains are little bits of fabric that cover 1/5 so they do NOTHING, the lockers are little mini ones so have no where to put bags away

Es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsbereich um neue Leute kennen zu lernen. Das Frühstück ist wirklich schlecht, Toastbrot und zwei Früchte, mehr nicht. Empfehle es nicht weiter.

We spent 4 nights at the hostel. Overall the hostel is really nice, the location is good, the staff is friendly and the social aspect is also good. But unfortunately we found bed bugs in our bed!!! We had bites everywhere and it itched like hell! We also had to clean our clothes and disinfect our backpacks. We also knew another person who had the same problem with this hostel. Until this problem isn't solved, I cannot recommend staying here!

Bed bugs in December 2022!!!

We saw bed bugs in the bed, when we reported this to the owner, she did nothing about it and the next day people slept in the same beds again.

Not very good honestly. Looked way more social on their page and our bedding had not been changed from the previous guests… there are better hostels in chiang mai, both social and quiet

Location is like a 10-15 min walk to the main parts of town. It’s a big place which is nice but the rooms are super cramped. Staff literally didn’t say a word to me even at check in. Not the best place but it’s cheap and good for a night.

The staff are lovely but unfortunately they seem to have bed bugs or just unclean sheets as I woke up with bites all over my body and swollen eyes (I don't have allergies). The location is nice and close to everything.

THERE IS NO AC - hostel says AC but unless you book the standard dorm you just have a fan and these rooms are HOT. this isn’t advertised at all

A good hostel to stay for a few days. The staff were friendly, and in the kitchen they provide bananas, coffee, and tea for breakfast. The only thing I would change is adding air conditioning in the rooms and common areas, as it was very hot both during the day and at night.

L’hostel est bien situé. Il y a un petit marché avec de la street food juste à côté. La propriétaire est sympa et le personnel aussi dans l’ensemble. Néanmoins mon draps était taché, le matelas complètement défoncé. Les infrastructures méritent d’être rénovées.

It definitely was one of the best Hostels we stayed in! The beds were super comfy and de facilities very clean. The atmosphere is great there. A great place to meet new people, especially with the pool table! We had so much fun there. It had a great location right next to a small food market and only a 10 min walk to the center of the old town. The stuff was very nice, social and willing to help as well! We will definitely want to come back here again :))

I had a really positive experience at monkey toe hostel. We stayed in the 10 bed dorms which had very comfy beds and in terms of what people say about the curtains, yes they are a bit oddly formatted but don’t really cause an issue. The communal spaces were plentiful including a nice pool table. Staff were lovely and organised a barbecue and football events during our stay. Hard to really fault the place so would reccomend if your looking for a balence of chill and social at a great price.

Das Hostel hatte einen sehr guten Gemeinschaftsvereixh. Das Persona war nett. Es gab genug Duschen und Bäder, zudem waren sie recht sauber. Ich hatte ein Bett im 10er Zimmer, hier waren die Betten recht nah aneinander gestellt und ma war teilweise direkt nebeneinander, nur durch eine Vorhang getrennt. ist aber nicht allzu schlimm.

Location is not great, you have to get a Grab everywhere or a long walk to the old town. Dorms and facilities are pretty ok. Although, lockers are small. Beds are a bit rickerty and not as private as they good be. Highlight of my stay was the staff they are all amazing and very helpful!

nice hostel, felt secure and clean. good warm showers. really nice breakfast provided. only thing is it's not very social. there's a lot of seating options so people seemed to tend to sit alone and it was difficult to get talking to people. otherwise a lovely hostel

Nice hostel and good location. Loved the cat 😭😩 I wasn’t a big fan of the big curtain dividers as you can still hear everything and see whenever someone has a light on. The bathrooms also could’ve been cleaner for sure. Otherwise, still a good stay! The staff was very nice

Great place! It’s social but not a party hostel - also 100% depends on you and who you meet :) the area is a street lined with hostels and surprisingly quiet. Good bathrooms, curtains kinda don’t go all the way around, and great terrace at the top!

The place to be if you are looking for a chill and social hostel. Staff is lovely. Location is amazing as well.

Good hostel with nice common areas. Not super social, but definitely got that family vibe. Nice touch with free coffee, tea and bananas, as well as the adorable house cat.

Really liked this hostel, the staff were lovely and the common area was nice and very social. The beds were a little close together in the dorms but for the price you pay it’s really not an issue! Would definitely stay here again

Basic hostel that meets all the requirements. They have a pool table and a small kitchen, which is rare in Thailand. Located right in a road full of hostels it is easy to meet people.

A good experience. Staff was helpful and friendly. Luggage storage was nice. There’s a pooltafel and chill area where you could easily meet people. Also a little space outside to eat your breakfast or have a smoke. Beds were okay. Curtains and little individual locker for a bag were nice. Location was good as well, right outside the square but so easy to go to the center. Close to 2 night food markets. Not to noisy at night. Would’ve stayed longer if I could’ve
