+ Nothing - this was a homeless shelter, not a hostel

- A lot of permanent residents - homeless people pretending to be “digital nomads”

- Awful facilities, rooms and atmosphere. Smoke everywhere and bad smell

- I came after a trip of five hours, and and they didn’t have a room The receptionist didn’t know award in English. He tell me that he doesn’t have a room and he doesn’t give me an alternative.

+ Las instalaciones del condiminio, se veía muy bien y cómodo para quedarse

- No estaba la encargada de las reservaciones y la direccion que me dieron para parquear mi moto no fue la mejor, faltaron detalles y nunca encontré el parqueo para la moto.

- reserve temprano, dicen qe se puede hacer check in hasta las 23:30, llegue nates y no habia nadie, estuve llamando a la puerta, por telefoino y nada, me dejaron sin alojamiento y sin respuesta!!! pesimo

+ Good location.

- Property on the edge of a busy street and therefore you could hear cars passing by; walls were too thin and windows from different rooms were facing each other; cold shower; advertisement on Booking said there was a “bath” in the bedroom while the bathroom was shared with the owners' room. Not comfortable at all.

+ Sali a la actividad que tenía planeada cuando regrese no podía ingresar porque la puerta principal le pusieron un candado me tocó ir a esperar la madrugada a un restaurante de comida a qué fuera de día para ir por mis cosas y el dueño me dijo que me iba a devolver el dinero y no me devolvió nada son unos ladrones

- Me robaron mi dinero

+ Nada me gusto de este Hostel

- Que no hice uso del hotel porque no llegue a Costa Rica porque perdi el vuelo desde España y no me quisiero reembolsar nada y se quedaron con mi dinero

+ Nous ne pouvons juger la chambre car le gérant nous a donné une autre chambre que celle réservé

- Chambre très petite, la fenêtre donne sur les communs et ne ventile pas. Pas de climatisation car elles sont cassées, juste un ventilateur sur demande. La douche n'avait pas d'eau chaude, il fallait aller à la douche du bâtiment d'en face pour avoir une douche avec pommeau électrique. Petit déjeuner très très basique.

- La suciedad de la habitación, había humedades y bichos por todos lados, hormigas por la cama, gusanos en el papel higiénico…

+ Ubicación

- *Reservamos habitación privada con baño privado, sin embargo nos comentaron que tenían un problema con esa habitación. Así que nos asignaron otra donde el baño estaba afuera a un lado, pero asegurando que nadie más entraría. Que solo iba a ser para nuestro uso, y aceptamos. Pero no fue así, muchas veces se escuchaba que entraban a usar el baño. *La regadera fue un dolor de cabeza. Solo duraba unos segundos el agua caliente, salía demasiado caliente para luego estar totalmente helada. Le tenías que estar abriendo y cerrando, sin poder lograr la temperatura correcta porque cuando al fin lo hacías, se ponía heladísima. *La cocina se veía poco higiénica.

- Mucho ruido

+ Lugar tranquilo y buena atención

+ Fui muito bem recebida pela equipe do hostel. O ambiente é agradável. A localização é muito boa. Perto da UCR, do shopping e de restaurantes/bares diversos. Bairro residencial, muito tranquilo para caminhar.

- A noite faz frio em San José e o cobertor oferecido é pequeno, parece cobertor infantil.

+ Il quartiere Escalante pieno. di ristoranti e bar. Quartiere tranquillo e sicuro.

- Perché non. mettere un. Insegna anche piccola per capire che l'edificio con. il. Murales dei bradipi è l'ostello??

+ Todo perfecto, tiene desayuno, buen precio , no tengo ninguna queja

+ la cama cómoda y hay silencio en la noche para descansar bien y seguir viaje

+ Excellent staff, beautiful place, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a hostel. They are very active in repairing things that break or make noises. They fixed a light fixture and a noisy bathroom door while I was there.

- The crazy expensive fee when paying with a card. I highly recommend using cash. Ants. Ants everywhere. Ant at the dining tables. Ants in your bed. In your bed everyday.

+ Nice stuff, quiet area

- No hot water in the shower.

+ Un gran lugar en una de las mejores zonas de San José, restaurantes, bares y minimarkets muy cerca. Agua caliente en la regadera y todo muy limpio. La cama muy cómoda.

+ Good stopover location in San Jose. The breakfast was okay and the kitchen was large. The room was spacious.

- We had to wait a long time to use the bathroom.

+ The room was very comfortable and the location is a great spot for San Jose. When we arrived they were very accommodating and allowed for us to check in early. They also gave good recommendations for places to eat. We had an issue with the WiFi not reaching the room but this was resolved by the installation of a router extension. A special thanks to Fredi for his help.
