Noosa Flashpackers

For almost 100 dollars a night this hostel really didn’t live up to standards. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms clean, but the problem was in the kitchen. Unfortunately we saw a rat scutter across and hide under the sofa. They do offer movie nights and a PS5 which was good. Location is pretty rubbish, not in the centre of Noosa

Great staff, great pancakes, compote, cream, then sadly cheap white bread and cereal. I slept well with ear plugs, however, the rooms and bathrooms are very very basic. Tiny lockers, bare concrete walls, tile floor, bunk beds without a curtain. The bathroom didn’t have hooks for your clothes and you waited a while for the many people to use one shared shower for multiple rooms. The same wet towel on the ground for 2 days, & the dorm unswept. The YHA in Brisbane was like the ritz. Expensive.

Room was crazy hot all night and wasn’t very clean. They also put me in a larger room than I’d paid for. Location is great, but for the price and the experience, wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Some refurbishment would be needed. Old and dark rooms. Beds/ mattresses need exchange. Needs some proper cleaning. Would not book it again

Great hostel, very social as there were events every night. A lot of tour groups stay here so not the best for solo travellers however they did free breakfast everyday and free dinners and drinks every other day. A bit far from the main beach but the busses are very easy and the hostel offers a free bus shuttle at certain times in the day. A bit on the expensive side but overall would definitely stay again.

Was only there for a night, overall pleasant experience.

Hostel reicht aus für 4 Nächte. Es ist sehr idyllisch und schön. + Hund + Personal ist sehr freundlich + shuttle bus + Gratis gewürz und Öl - nicht so sauber (aber es reicht aus) - leute waren gar nicht social - weiter weg vom Zentrum

Ok for one night as a stopover after K’gari tour. Not amazing, really old showers, curtains on beds were mouldy, not much place to sit outside your room.

It was pretty good, it was a bit cold inside the kitchen because the doors were the whole time open.

Lovely staff and good communal areas (kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating inc. a dining table and sofas). Rooms could really do with an update (ie new bunk beds) as the current ones are very old. One room had bed curtains and shelves but the second room I stayed in didn’t have either which wasn’t great. The lockers are also sub-par (plastic and a little on the small side). Would say the free activities, free surf hire, communal areas and staff (including Spider the Dog) really make this host...

Un superbe hostel, un des meilleurs que j’ai fait si ce n’est le meilleur. Je me suis sentie comme à la maison. J’ai adoré mon séjour. Si je reviens à Noosa je reviendrai ici directement. Les espaces sont toujours très propres, le petit déjeuner est top, le staff est toujours souriant et sympathique. Spider le chien est adorable. C’est l’hostel parfait ! Il est un peu excrétée mais il y a une navette mise en place par l’hostel ou sinon le bus passe juste à côté régulièr...

Wonderful - and made even better by the lovely Spider - although he makes it very hard to not play with him!

I would 1000% stay here again! So clean and social with fun and free events. Location isn’t ideal but there’s a public bus stop very close and the hostel shuttle so it’s not a dealbreaker. Kitchen was really nice and had free butter and milk etc. I liked that it felt generous not like they were trying to charge you for everything.

Loved this hostel and has been my favourite in Australia. The way it’s run with breakfast and activities each evening makes it very social I was chatting to people each morning and evening. Though a bit out of the town it’s right by a bus stop and they have shuttles to and from the greyhound bus stop so it didn’t make any difference and made arriving and leaving so easy. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Would recommend booking for your Noosa stay.

my favorite hostel i’ve stayed in in australia so far. the staff could not have been more friendly and caring, they had so many great free events, food, surfboards, and shuttles to take you to the beach :)

The staff were all very nice and incredibly useful at helping us plan things. The facilities were all clean and functioning properly, as well as there being a shuttle service multiple times a day to the centre of town so the location wasn’t a problem for our stay. Would highly recommend if you love dogs as Spidey is adorable

Loved my stay here. Staff were super friendly and the activities in the evening were good way to socialise with other backpackers. The only ‘bad’ thing I’d say is the location, but they run a shuttle bus - although it’s not very frequent

I loved this hostel!! I got a complimentary pickup from the bus station which was a great touch. Having free breakfast AND surfboard rental was awesome, and actually having breakfast available from 5am was fab because i had to get an early bus. Really clean hostel with a nice social vibe and plenty of activities, and a great pool/communal area. One of the best i’ve been to for sure!

I’ve been travelling around Australia for the past 3 months and I can honestly say this is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Jeremy and his team run an absolutely brilliant place. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming – everyone always has a smile on their face which tells you a lot about the atmosphere here. Jeremy clearly runs a great ship and it shows in the vibe of the whole hostel. The place is spotless and really well looked after. Little touches make a big difference too �...

Best hostel I stayed at, a bit further from Noosa heads but bus stop right outside of they had a shuttle bus throughout the day. So clean and lovely social atmosphere. Definitely recommend

Es war wunderschön mit das beste Hostel wo ich bisher war alle waren sehr nett und man hat gut neue Leute kennengelernt.

Such a great Hostel with a great vibe and lots of social events. Super easy to get in and out of Noosa Heads with a free shuttle and the public bus only costing 50 cents anyway.

I did really like this hostel, the rooms were really nice and clean and it was quite sociable. The location is a little inconvenient but they do provide a free shuttle at certain times which is really good. Not enough washing machines or dryers though.

Dorms were clean, beds were comfortable and had curtains, kitchen was well equipped, the free breakfast was good, lots of social events going on, only downside was the location which was slightly far from the main areas
