Tara Hostel

Agréable pour retrouver un peu d'intimité pendant un voyage sans avoir à payer une chambre privée. Malheureusement il n'y avait aucun autre voyageur pendant 4 jours.

What I enjoyed about this stay is that you essentially have your own room. No locker, just lock your door behind you. You do have to climb up a ladder to get to the top rooms. There was no hot water in the shower the 2 nights I stayed. No A/C in the rooms, but each has a wall fan that pulls in the a/c cool air from the main room. Very strange cartoons on the bathroom doors?? Would have been great to have a hook somewhere in the shower for clothes and towel. There’s free water, instant coffee a...

Hostel was basically a private room so really worth the price!! I extended twice as having a quieter hostel was what I wanted when staying here. Staff were really nice and super helpful booking boats to the island and back. Also reasonable price for the bike rentals and you can book loads through the reception at this hostel. Location was on the main road of the island but took about 10-15 minutes on a bike to get to busier areas and nicer cafes/restaurants

When we got here there was no receptionist so we had to call them. The staff was really nice and friendly when they were at the hostel. The pods are nice and big and my bed was really good but the one my friend got was completely collapsed.

This is a really good hostel if you want a chill place to stay! The rooms are really spacious, it’s basically a mini room. Bathroom and showers are nice. It’s a very small hostel, but still nice with a cozy common area with a tv and some chairs/bean bags. Also good place to book stuff:) Not much else there, but a good place to set camp!

I had a great stay at this hostel! The room was surprisingly spacious — it felt almost like a private room rather than a shared dorm. The location is excellent, very close to the port, which makes it super convenient for travelers. You can even rent a motorbike directly at the reception, and they also organize tours and sell boat tickets, so you don’t have to worry about planning everything on your own. Sayang was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay.

The rooms are awesome, you basically get your own private little room. Not much to do there except sleep though so if you are looking to meet people maybe try somewhere else but it was perfect for what I was looking for and very peaceful.

The rooms are awesome, you basically get your own private little room. Not much to do there except sleep though so if you are looking to meet people maybe try somewhere else but it was perfect for what I was looking for and very peaceful.

Staff where amazing! Rooms were the best I’ve seen. Very clean and chill relaxing vibes. Best value for money I’ve come across throughout south East Asia

Small, but really nice! We had each our own little room/ cabin. In total 6 rooms in the hostel. Helpfull personal, water dispenser, clean toilettes, good wifi.

Tara hostel was my favorite stay. The staff and local around the hostel are the kindest and friendliest people i’ve ever met. I stayed for 2 weeks but could’ve stayed months. 11/10

Proper loved this place. Anim who runs the hostel does a quality tour of the island and goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the stay. Everything’s proper clean and tidy and you practically have your own room for such a great price. Not the most social hostel cause there’s only 6 rooms, but there’s loads of restaurants and shops around the area. Perfect for a short stay to explore the island and relax in your spare time

Lovely staff and really cool little "private" rooms with lock for a very reasonable price! Staff picked us up from the port and booked boat and snorkel trip for us too which was very handy!

Every Dorm bed is in a small room so you really have a privat space which is really cool. You also can book tours with them. Would recommend!

The staff was the most kind I have ever meet, they can do everything for you and always with and smile. The can rent you motorbikes, laundry and book the ferry’s and take you to the port without problem. the room are basically private rooms you only share the toilet.

this hostel deserve 10 star not 5star.. beautiful atmosphere, cleanness, sounds less, good private room in a cheap price .staff just like a family members behavior. I recommended to everyone to visit this hostel thn u will say wow what a hostel ❤️ if I could thn I will stay 1month here it's really look like a 🏠 home.
