&And Hostel Asakusa Kappabashi

+ Nothing.

- There are hidden fees at this hostel. 1400¥ check in fee, 20,000¥ fee to throw trash away, 1000¥ if you want your room cleaned, there were several other fees too many for me to list here. They make you sign a twenty four page contract when you show up (not normal at all for japan). There was one friendly person, I think his name was Daniel. The other employees were very cold and didn't seem to hate their jobs. The floors in the room were dirty when I arrived. I had a seven day reservation, i left as soon as possible. Loseing nights of pre-paid cost just to flee this hostel. Please reconsider booking this place. Nui hostel close-by, where I change to, is much better. Or, you can stay at Apa hotel, a decent chain hotel in japan, for practically the same cost.

- 冷暖氣機超級吵就算關了還有莫名其妙的水聲，還有外面管路的排水聲持續一整晚影響睡眠，房間空間小到一個29吋行李箱攤開就沒地方走路，浴室沒有地方放衣物跟毛巾，房間燈光昏暗

- I once have been in Alcatraz prison tour, cells there had much more space than this Hostel. It is not unusual thing, that rooms in Japan are tiny, but this is just next level and not designed for travelers in mind. There's no space to put things. All you have is just two hooks. If you have bigger luggage leave it at home, you won't be able to fully open it. Please pick other hotels near by. They will not only have bigger rooms, but will be cheaper.

+ Location wise it was just behind the row of kitchenware shops in Kappabashi, so it was perfect for shopping kitchenware. You could just go back and drop off your shopping.

- They were so rigid. The staff were nice until I met an unpleasant lady when I checked out on 26 May. I already found it weird to charge 200 yen to leave my luggage there for a few hours while I waited for my transport. When I went back to pick my luggage and had to wait 15 min for my taxi, I was told I needed to pay 200 yen to sit there. Seriously? It’s not the money, it’s really small change but the way the lady spoke to me in such a condescending manner is really uncalled for. So here I am standing by the roadside waiting for my ride I would have been perfectly happy to pay 2000 yen much less 200 yen to store my luggage for the past 2 hours and have a seat. But this is a matter of principle. I’m at genius level 3 and almost 2 decades on this platform and I’ve never written a bad review. So… I think this speaks volumes. Also, it’s impossible to have 2 people in that room. Someone has to get on the bed for the other one to move. The bathroom is also very tiny. I’m a size 8 and if someone is a size 12, I don’t think they can turn around in the bathroom. A mistake to be staying here. For this price, better off at APA or Sotetsu. You even have to pay for cleaning the room or fresh towels.

- The room had major humidity issues, the bedroom was damp and the walls and floor covered in moisture. The bed sheets were also damp. The room is also pretty small for 2 people but we could manage.

- アメニティのくしが無かったから大変だった ドライヤーは良いものでした。 壁が薄いので音が漏れます。音漏れは1番マイナスポイントではありました。

- Chambre minuscule monacale avec des fenêtres sans vue : c est glauque ! Pas d ambiance Rapporte qualité prix mauvais

+ La ragazza al front desk era gentile e disponibile

- Stanza molto rumorosa (anche di notte sentivamo rumore di acqua scorrevole) e troppo piccola anche considerando le altre stanze prenotate in altre città del Giappone, con nessun punto di appoggio.

- It’s very small they claim 10m2 but compared to other 10m2 we did in Japan it seems way smaller and our room was not in good condition.

+ 提早一個月預訂，以在東京這個全世界地價最貴的地方而言，房價可以接受。有獨立的小房間比住青旅自在方便很多。搭銀座線從地鐵站稻荷町下來約走10分鐘內可到。大部份時間都很安靜。對面是一座小公園，3/30 抵達時櫻花樹滿開，很美！櫃台人員平易近人，旅館房間跟整體環境都很乾淨整潔。旅館出去右手邊200公尺還有一個台灣阿里山小餐館，平價好吃。

- 晚上偶爾聽的到流水聲，但音量是在可以接受的範圍內，不會造成困擾。

- No es algo malo porque es la forma de manejarse del hotel y es algo que avisaron pero la recepción no es 24 hs, nuestro vuelo se retraso y tuvimos que reservar otro hotel para esa noche.

+ お値段がお得感ありました。スタッフの方が親切でした。

+ The area is good, although the location is not the most comfortable, you need to walk a lot to every station. The good thing is that Asakusa is the kitchen tools neighbourhood, so if you plan on buying a knife or other kitchen things, this is a good place. Also the area was chill. The personnel was kind.

- The room was weirded designed, as it has an strange shape and not much space to move (we have been to many others hotels in japan but this room was weird). You dont hear many sounds from the street, but you hear a lot from the other rooms and the hallway. The location was 500 mtrs away from the subway station and like 1200 mtrs from the JR Station. A lot of extra walking.

- 部屋に冷蔵庫があればなお良いが価格が上がるのならばこのままでよい
