HOTEL ADONIS near Shibuya-Male only Dorm

Not a place to meet fellow travellers. No couch, no desk to check emails. Just a random useless micro gym.

Friendly staff. Dorm was empty on the one night I stayed. Was asked if I was gay, because one of the floors is a gay floor - I think maybe a theme of the hostel.

There’s no kitchen. The weight room is nice. The staff is “interesting”. The location is pretty good and the food on the first floor at the Thai restaurant is amazing.

Hotel Adonis was great. The accommodations were as promised- nothing fancy but well kept. The staff was very helpful and it was nice to be in community with the other guests. The location is a little more removed from the center of town but the neighborhood is really nice. Would stay again.

Had a great time. All male and everyone was gay when I was there so no complaints about me or others walking around naked. Made friends in the showers. Highly recommend if you are a gay man.

Overall great place to stay. its just a little far from a train station, but not really too far, just not as close as some might prefer. However, a nice walk to and from the staion anyway. clean, has lockers,and is overall safe and fairly quiet. once at the station you can get to just about anywhere in tokyo from ththye train. Shibuya is jus a stop or two away. the beds are very private too even though its dorm style.

This place was actually in a good location close to both Shibuya and Roppongi. Staff was real friendly and accommodating. It’s all bros in the hostel which is cool bc everybody just wants to hang and go together which is fun.
