Hostel beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c’est. Les douches et les toilettes sont sales, avec une odeur permanente de moisissure et d’eau croupie dans tout l’hostel. Aucun équipement, parties communes laissées à l’abandon : en 4 jours, les douches et toilettes n’ont jamais été nettoyées. Dans l'ensemble assez déçue.Le personnel est vraiment gentil. L'emplacement est bon mais en face d'une mosquée, préparez vous aux réveils à 5h du matin (pas toujours agréable en vacances)...l'hostel sens le moisi, la propreté est pas trop ma et les matelas sont hyper dur (on aurait dormi sur le sol c'était pareil)...je ne recommande malheureusement pas, surtout que vous pouvez avoir mieux pour moins cher ailleurs.

The hostel itself was okay (friendly staff, though no real common area and hence not social). The room was bloody disgusting though - smelled like an uncleaned public toilet and there was no way of getting rid of the smell. Mattress was super hard (literally like a piece of wood) - I’d say avoid if u can.

The beds are rock hard. Feels more like lying on the floor than a mattress. Privacy curtains only go around half the bed. Thin walls. Smells of sewage around most parts of the hostel, even in our room. I expected more for the price. Would recommend booking something else.

Don’t bother

We booked to stay in this hostel for three nights and found upon arrival that the room we had been allocated ‘Bamboo Island’ had an overwhelming stench of damp as soon as we opened the door. The mattresses were rock solid (more so than any other hostel we’ve stayed in before - we know that most hostels have very firm mattresses). Bed sheets and towels had pink, brown and red stains all over them, there was damp all the way up the wall. It may have just been our room. We left after one nigh...

Emplacement parfait, mais l’auberge était vide. J’ai croisé 3-4 autres voyageurs. Des activités étaient proposées sur le babillard, mais aucune avait lieu vraiment. J’étais sensé dormir 3 nuits, mais j’y suis restée seulement 1 nuit finalement. C’était au mois de Juillet.

The staff and location was good. That’s about where it stopped for us, our room was so small we could only enter one at a time as the other person had to shuffle around the bunk to then close the door for the next person to come in. They have “happy hour” signs but bar was never open while we were there. Only place to try and socialise is the seats at the entrance which is right next to a super smelly toilet. Was planning to stay 3 nights but left after the first. Dorms were okay, bathrooms were really dirty when I arrived, they cleaned up afterwards but still not very clean. The staff was nice. Ao Nang in general is very touristy and crowded with party people… similar to Phukets Patong. Didn’t like it at all. Would not recommend and will never come back…

It’s only one thing I care about when it comes to the cleanliness of the room and that is the bed sheets. When you don’t even bother to change the bedding between guests, than you truly are a horrible hotel attendant

Nice place, good location. Good luggage storage under the beds and plenty of toilets and showers on each floor. But the beds have very little privacy (curtains don’t close all the way and there’s no separation between bunks that face each other) and there’s nowhere to get water in the hostel. The showers were also on the smaller side

+ cooler Aufenthaltsbereich + sehr große Schließfächer + direkt an der Hauptstraße - starker Geruch außerhalb der Zimmer (machte dadurch unsauberen Eindruck) - kein gratis Wasser - harte Matratzen

Bonne établissement pour y passer seulement la nuit, pas trop loin du centre et d’un 7/11! Mais si vous voulez faire des rencontres ou des activités vous êtes au mauvais endroit…

Nice accommodation. The rooms were spacious and great storage for bags etc. There was also a nice space where you could hang out outside the room, but would have liked a quieter lounge area where you could sit in the evening as it got very noisy next to the bar. A waste bin is needed outside the toilet as the bins inside the toilets quickly became overcrowded. Very unpleasant when you arrive in the morning and there is paper lying around the toilets. Also, the wifi- bad on floor 2.

Das Hostel hatte sehr harte Betten. Leider gingen die Vorhänge auch nicht ganz zu. Das WLAN lief super. Die Sanitäranlagen wurden einmal morgens gereinigt, es hat im Laufe des Tages dann ein bisschen gemüffelt.

Buena ubicación, cómodo y social, el personal es amable y la limpieza es buena

Good hostel to stay at, Owners very kind and welcoming

It’s a good hostel with walkable distance to the beach (~1km) . They also have an excellent staff at the counter. They helped with the late checkin, island tour booking at the best price and van booking for our journey to Pattaya. (All with a smile on her face, I appreciate it, I think her name was hunny (not sure)). Thanks for the stay.

Great location- very close the beach/restaurants. The hostel itself can be quite busy, so can get quite noisy. People in the hostel were messy but it was always cleaned up very quickly

Bad sewage smell

Overall pretty good hostel. Was a lot of couples I was in an 8 bed with 2 older couples which was a bit awkward but later moved to another room with solo younger people. Really big under the bed storage lockers to put your belongings. Pretty good showers and sink but not much room to put out toiletries. Curtains aren’t the best but better than nothing. Naja. Betten sind super unbequem. Weg zum Strand ist sehr weit. Ist eine Bar dabei, die auch ganz cool ist aber sonst nicht wirklich Social

Great hostel! Clean rooms and beds, great storage spaces with LOADS of showers and bathrooms. Good location close to Ao Nang beach and centre. Lovely staff.

Based on the pictures that I had seen on Hostelworld to what I then saw during my stay, it didn't match which made me pretty sad. Overall my stay was ok since I stayed out during the day but I truly picked the hostel based on the original pictures which had a pool & this indeed did not have a pool. If you're looking for a calm place to stay, this is ideal which I enjoyed but I also wanted SOME energy in the hostel to meet folks. I wasn't looking for a party craze hostel by no means
