Mancora Hostel

The location of this hostel makes it mosquito heaven. Neither of us slept with the rooms being incredibly warm and mosquito ridden. Someone in our dorm had a bednet up. We left our stay early and ate the costs after my boyfriend had ~100 mosquito bites. Moved to selina and had no mosquito issues. The hostel is very cute and detailed, but I couldn't find one comfy place to sit. Same cueca bus issue as a previous comment. Staff is very nice.

Unfortunately my experience in this hostel was a very bad one. Cannot recommend this hostel if you are arriving to Mancora by night bus. They didn’t let me in until 9am and I was forced to spend the night from 4am on on the shady streets. Felt very unsafe. I woke up with my arms and feet filled with bites. Also, the Wifi doesn’t work in the dorms. Even though it’s further outside of town you would think you can enjoy a little more quietness. But It’s right next to a party hostel.

A bit out of the way for a small town. Small dorm was nice and bed was comfy but otherwise common spaces are worn out & the place feels cluttered. There weren’t many other people staying there - nice if you want quiet. You can hear the music from the Wild Rover next door from 10am to 4am. Turned up very early from the night bus and had trouble getting in - make sure to text in advance. Then slept outside until I could check in (was a bit cold & smelly) but was nice to be able to check in early...

El lugar está bien, con vistas a la playa que lo hace bonito, sin embargo, el lugar queda al lado de un hotel que hace fiesta casi que todos los días entonces es difícil descansar, un día el recepcionista estaba peleando afuera con otras personas como a las 2am tirando la puerta del hotel, las personas de mi cuarto se levantaron en ese momento, así que para descansar es difícil, el internet no es muy bueno

My room was cute with a beautiful view of the beach. It was bit hot in the room though, the fan provided was not enough. The room was vacant before my stay, I arrived early and I could check in early which was very nice. The staff who welcomed me was nice. It was the only person working in the hostel. There is no reception and no staff in the common areas. You have to text or call to see the staff. There is a bar with a food menu but it is abandoned. And all the hostel feels very abandoned.

Very fun and aesthetic place to stay! Lots of fun communal areas and the private rooms have their own balcony. The views from the property are unparalleled and the owners were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very convenient and offered a wide range of dishes made to order. They were undergoing some construction (no pool and some blocked common areas), but that did not detract from the experience. Sehr schönes Hostel, nette Besitzer und leckeres Essen. Mit dem Zimmer muss man allerdings Glück haben, ich hatte ein super schönes (6-Bett-Dorm) mit Balkon und Badezimmer direkt nebenan, es gibt aber auch welche ohne Fenster, die dementsprechend sehr dunkel und nicht so schön sind, was leider etwas schade ist. Das Hostel liegt direkt am Strand, aber etwas vom Zentrum entfernt. Und anders als in der Beschreibung gibt es leider keine Küche, dafür hat man aber eine große Auswahl an Essen, d...

Bonito hostel, muy tranquilo y con terrazas con vista al mar! Tiene muchas áreas compartidas muy cómodas me encantó pero abría que mejorar un poco más con la limpieza, fuera de ello todo genial!

It was very great there. Our host was super nice and helpful.

This is a really unique place! If you get a spot there you are lucky. This is for me the highest form of Luxus. Personalised, cozy rooms, with a kitchen where one can make food and smoothies, Huge private Terrasse where one can sit or even do yoga. a perfect view on the sea. This was perfect for us.

Marc and his wife are very friendly hosts. The hostel is just a few steps from the ocean. Colourful, hippi place 😀

Hostel is a bit out of the city centre, but right on the really nice beach. They also offer food and amazing hot chocolate and brownies :)

Really enjoyed my time at Mancora Hostel. Amazing amazing location mere steps from the beach from the rooms. Major treehouse vibes and is a very cozy place to read and relax. The cats are also very very cute. Highly recommend Mancora Hostel!

Si buscas un lugar para relajarte y tomar un café con la vista más alta y segura de Máncora, tener la playa como viente metros de tu puerta, balcones privadas en cada habitación, comida rica accessible, amigos nuevos por todos lados, garitos lindos, y una dueña que sabe todo de Máncora con buen humor, tienes que venir a Máncora Hostel. Solamente traerte unas spirales de mosquito insenso..

Great hostel with lots of character. Very nice place to chill and enjoy your stay at mancora compared to other hostels
