Room was ok but there was a few cockroaches in the room. Bed linen was clean and smelling really great, however we had to make our beds No kitchen for guests but free drink with paid food which was good

Staff was rude , no kitchen, unable to eat in room or in the hostel cafe area , fine if we eat in the room . I would not recommend this to female solo travelers

No aircon gets so hot in the room, and the roller blinds to stop the sun from getting in were broken. Had an ensuit but the shower barely ran it was like a trickle of water. Th communal showers were disgusting hair always in the drain and just not clean. Wouldn’t stay here again would rather invest in a hotel….

By far the WORST hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Didn’t even stay for my full booking. The room was not air conditioned. The showers were sooo tight. No where to change. Lights by the toilets did not work. So dirty and icky feeling. The view was stunning but you’re better off spending a little more on a hotel down the road. Nice staff, but disgusting place. Also, hard to find. A quick renovation would be easy and really elevate the place as it’s one of few hostels in the area.

Avoid this place at all costs! The rooms were filthy and the food was inedible, with a severe ant infestation everywhere. The hostel is in disrepair and does not resemble a youth hostel; instead, I had to share a room with multiple older men. Lockers are just bins under the beds, leading to my camera film, shirts, and shoes going missing. I left after one day and am still fighting for a refund. Stay away for your own safety and peace of mind!

Toilet door was broken and you can’t completely close it, also there was no light. The blond receptionist didn’t inform us about anything, no breakfast mention, no group activities, he didn’t engage at all with us. Cold. The hostel is old and so dirty!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. This is the second time i book something with good rating to find out later it’s a disaster! I will NEVER book AGAIN on hostelworld! Fake ratings

I don’t recommend this place, I’ve been staying in hostels and this is the worst one I’ve been at, apart from the beautiful view there is nothing good about this place, the hostel is not taken care of, no lights in the toilet, broken door, dirty, very loud so impossible to sleep. I had dinner there and the voucher received at check in for free drink with the meal turned out to be not true. The price is too high to stay in this place so avoid

Do not stay here. Bugs all over my room. Bugs on the beds, on the walls, everywhere. Couldn’t contact anyone to switch rooms or notify reception because nobody is available after 10 pm and we only saw how disgusting the room was after coming back later at night (we just dropped off stuff and left when we checked in). Had to sleep with the bugs and couldn’t even notify anyone in the morning when we checked out because checkout is entirely self checkout and nobody is available at reception unt...

When I arrived i found out the hostel was under construction which was not listed anywhere when booking. On the weekdays from 8am-5pm there was extremely loud construction happening which woke me up and were just annoying during the day. The facilities are alright, however the toilet rooms are small and sometimes dirty. People can also see through shower. Also due to the construction when walking into the building you have to go down a small outdoor hallway at the back, at night it’s very cree...

Amazing views and wonderful staff. Great location the ferry is a 5 minute walk away. No kitchen and I was on the bottom bunk and couldn’t sit up in my bed which sucks. But other than that was a good stay and I found it to be social

A great experience! The shower had dead bugs near it, there was no dedicated space to put things like phone and room key without them getting wet, which they unfortunately did, & some of my roommates were loud early in the morning- wishing there was some quiet hours in place. But, I have many great things to say! Location is PERFECT, so close to the city center and ESPECIALLY the ferry port. Food was great, aperol was even better! Staff let me drop off luggage HOURS early! Will return if I can!!

one of the best hostels ive ever stayed in. although they don't have a kitchen, their restaurant is always open with reasonably priced meala. staff were so friendly, the rooms were great and it had one of the most beautiful views of any hostel ive been to overlooking the lake. location is great as you can visit so many places too!!!

Lovely location right near the ferry port with a lovely view of the lake! However has no kitchen- the vibes were nice but not outstanding, but the room had a gorgeous balcony! Had a lovely stay, thanks.

Stayed in a female only dorm and the room was lovely!! Gorgeous views of the lake and very clean. Showers and toilets are shared among other rooms but they were clean. Very friendly atmosphere and easy to talk to people but also no one will bother you if you just want some chill time. I received a free drink voucher for every evening meal I had in the hostel restaurant which was a nice touch. I absolutely LOVED my stay! There was so much to see and so much to do. The hostel has a restaurant included so I had breakfast and dinner there as well. It’s right next to the Menaggio ferry station which was so convenient. Great stay for a great price!

Fantastic amenities for the price. No complaints whatsoever. The staff were very kind and helpful, eager to give recommendations for hiking and getting places. the restaurant was also good and average prices. Bring a small padlock if you want to lock your stuff in the storage under the beds.

Very small dorms, no social space except the restaurant. Then, no kitchen or at least fridges to eat your own food. If you stay in a dorm, it means you don't have that much money and would prefer to save some instead of eating meals at the restaurant. Think about it:-)

The staff were really lovely. They explained everything and answered any questions. The town is also beautiful with lots of great hikes around. There’s no kitchen for guests to use but the restaurant downstairs is pretty cheap, and there are lots places to eat in town. I wish there had been a lounge or something to spend time in when it was pouring rain for days. Staying in my room was foul because of guests who spent the time chain smoking and stinking it up. But I would definitely come again...

Not a lot of communal space because it is also the most popular restaurant in town (or so it seems) but other than that great place, great people, loved it!

Ho trascorso una settimana piacevole in questo ostello della gioventù. Ho parcheggiato la mia auto nel parcheggio pubblico gratuito sottostante, molto comodo. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, l'atmosfera è rilassata e la posizione è ideale per prendere l'autobus, il traghetto... ma anche per la vista sul lago! Lo consiglio vivamente.
