Sun & Moon Hostel

Not recommended! No Wi-Fi in the room, a terrible smell in the bathroom, and it was dirty. A staff member behaved inappropriately, made us feel uncomfortable, and even blew us a kiss. There was construction going on in the middle of the day in our hallway and in our room, without any prior notice. Our food was thrown out of the refrigerator, even though it was labeled with our name and the correct date. Playing cards was forbidden after 10 p.m. And it was far too expensive for what it was!!!!

Very disappointing, the hostel looked great online, but other than the location everything was basic and uninviting. The common areas were windowless and unappealing so not a good place for solo travellers to meet new folks. The room was fine but bathroom not very clean. The main thing I found utterly shocking is that they charge for every little extra thing you might need! 5€ surcharge for a blanket (it was early march so not exactly hot weather), towels, luggage storage, hair dryer, etc.

Everything you have to do in this hostel you have to pay for it except the bathroom. So, if you need to put your bag in the luggage room or if you want a blanket you have to pay, even if you have a bicycles you have to pay for parking and after all of this the price of staying will be double price. The room is dirty and had a bad smell.

SMELLS LIKE SEWAGE!!! Skip this place and stay elsewhere…

first attendant who checked us in was somewhat rude for some reason? My whole group was confused. I like that there was an en suite bathroom, but i don’t like that there weren’t any paper towels like other hostels. I liked that the locker opened with the room key, but hated that there were no curtains on the bed- absolutely NO privacy. worst of all was not including even a blanket, let alone an actual comforter. The location is the only redeeming quality and it still felt unsafe walking home at night and when I had an really flight and had to leave at 4am because the road is shut down to only walking you can’t redo anything but endure the creepy people. This was also super dirty and cramped dorms. Our ac was broken in the first day and so they turned it off in hopes of that being the fix. Crammed into an 8 bed dorm like sardines so obviously hot as hell and smells terrible in the morning. Pretty grim bathroom and no plug sockets, just extortionate battery packs to rent. Staff were fine but just another soulless hostel squeezing as much out of a busy city as possible.

Friendly staff and great location but very uncomfortable beds and bed sheets for blankets. The bathroom had a dirty smell to it and it wasn’t from someone using it, it just smelled gross. You can’t adjust the shower head and it’s a timed handle, having to continuously push it to shower is very inconvenient. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The place its in good location if you wish to be in rambla area. But it's not a place to rest if are tired and need a good nap, it was very noisy and the walls are very thin like paper. I could hear people moving outside and especially the youth group that was very noisy. During night I woke up many time from the water I could hear from the room above us. Plus when you take a dorm you have to rent everything else. The place is very Commercial.

The location is fantastic very central so walking distance or easy transport everywhere! The hostel is also clean, with friendly staff and added bonus the dorm beds have curtains, Overall a great place to stay!

We booked a private dorm for our group (8 people) with private bathroom. The hostel is very convenient in terms of location, the staff was helpful and pleasant, the room was very clean and we didn’t have any issues. The only unpleasant thing (not the fakúlt of the hostel/staff) was the omnipresent smell of weed every night when we went to sleep, even with closed windows. I was only here for a short amount of time, but this hostel was what I needed. It is located centrally in the gothic quarter, near la rambla, so it is so easy to get everywhere.

Great place, really good location, clean, staff very helpful and friendly

This is a great hostel. My room was pretty quiet, which worked for our schedule, but people seemed to be talkative if that is more of your thing! It is a great location. The biggest downside was being so close to everything, as the street got loud at times. But the facilities were nice and the staff members were friendly. Definitely would recommend a stay:)

Mid. Had to pay extra for a blanket (only sheets provided) but no worries, as the room was so unbearably hot and humid you wouldn’t be able to bear the thought of having any layers. Beds were nice, bathrooms were bad and lack of ventilation meant that after someone showered the entire room got infinitely hotter. Nice location and really great staff.

Lowk there has to be better hostels for comparable price in Barca. Location is very close to everything but super overwhelming. Staff was nice. But bad vibes in the lobby area and actual rooms were not good. Beds uncomfortable, no curtains, not homey.

Lack of events for people staying at the hostel. Stuck me in a room of people who didn’t speak a word of english, if i was solo travelling it would’ve made my experience a lot more difficult. No blankets for the beds A/C wasn’t working. Overall bare minimum hostel for a price of a high quality one.

Foi uma boa experiência. O quarto estava limpo, ótima localização. A recepção foi bem atenciosa, guardaram minha mala antes de estar no horário do chekin.

Es un hostal regular. El personal es muy amable, solo por eso creo que vale la pena. Pero las habitacion era muy pequeña, hay mucho ruido del exterior. Aunque sé que es un hostal, y no puede ser todo lujo, me pareció triste que cobraran todo (toalla, cobija, almacén de equipaje)

Buen alojamiento, limpio y staff atento. Es un poco frío adentro de la pieza, tuve que ponerme ropa encima por el frío y puede ser un poco “peligroso” el sector para llegar de noche, sin embargo, está al lado del metro, así que no tendrán problemas para recorrer la ciudad.

muy buena la ubicación, a la cocina le faltaban utensilios, el primer día tuve mucho frío en las habitaciones haya que dije que por favor prendieran el aire, no había tanto ambiente para concier gente

Excelente ubicación, un trato muy bueno. Lo único malo es que la cocina está muy incompleta, casi que no hay utensilios.

نزل ممتاز وموقِعه رائع جدًا قريب من شارع الرامبلا وقريب من كل شيء. المكان نظيف ومريح، وطاقم العمل ودود ومحترف ومتواجد على مدار 24 ساعة. هذه زيارتي السابعة لهذا النزل، ودائمًا أكون راضيًا عن الخدمات وحسن المعاملة. أنصح به بشدة.

L’auberge est assez vielle, pas accueillante, ce n’est pas un endroit fait pour rencontrer des gens, si on veut quelque chose il faut le payer alors que ces services sont très souvent gratuits dans les autres auberges.
