Horrible hostel, the private room has no windows and you can hear everything through the walls. I think the worse part was having a shared bathroom in the hallways right next to the reception office. The area is known to be dangerous but that wasn't even the issue for me. Save your money and don't bother with this place I checked out a day early couldn't sleep and the bathroom wasn't always clean

1) Hottest room in hostel; 15 degrees F (8 degrees C) hotter than outside; 2) Dropping wifi in room: Two receptionists indicated that should not happen; 3) Poor cleaning and maintenance in bathrooms, kitchen; 4) Staff claimed can call taxi only for airport not station; 5) Heavy security for “safe” area; 6) Too pricey: I paid €147/night for room with 2 beds, shared bath. The staff are the only saving grace of this hostel - you don't need to live like this while staying in Barcelona! The price should be lower for what you get (and we stayed in a private room): there is no air flow so nothing dries in the room; the walls are paper thin, so if someone drops a safety pin in the next room you'll hear it; if you sit on the toilet the sink is on top of you. Respect to the people who work here, who are friendly. Its just the building isn't meant to house people this way

this hostel would be great if your into prison roleplaying! also would be great if your an insect lover because they have roaches. this hostel made me never want to come back to barcelona. so unbearably hot they don’t even give you a comforter because they KNOW. there are only 2 bathrooms and they are absolutely disgusting. beds are so creaky and hard. they close the kitchen and common area at 11 which they are very strict about. wouldn’t even come back if it was free.

I wouldn't overly recommend Paraiso hostel. The location is great, easily walkable to most tourist hot spots or if not there is the metro pretty close by. It's in a bit of a rough area but they do a good job at ensuring security. However, the property is run down and exceptionally overpriced. There is no communal vibe at all in the hostel and the staff aren't overly helpful. We asked for advice on the best way to get to our next city and we were told to google it.

Overpriced like the whole of Barcelona. Loved the area but design of the building meant it was more of a bed for the night. A bar could give it a sense of identity. All the hostels in Spain lacked any vibe. It's a shame. Won't be backpacking in Spain again.

The hostel was too cold and the room was really tiny not enough at all for 4 people . We definitely do not recommend it to anyone didn't feel safe there .

Very nice. The plus : someone taking care of you with kindness night and days 24h/24h. So great !

Kinda dirty in a not great part of town, our lock was broken that everytime you opened it you gad to make so much noise to even get it open. Beds were rattling, not any atmosphere at all.

Lenzuola e cuscini puliti. Bagni condivisi, water e docce puliti, i pavimenti meno. Cucina non usata ma sembrava pulita. Bello il terrazzino e la sala comune. Personale ECCELLENTE. È in una zona pericolosa: in 3 giorni, a 500m un appartamento ha preso fuoco e un ragazzo è stato assassinato di fronte all'entrata. Hanno armadietti di sicurezza, ma non sono enormi (stretti e alti). Se avete bisogno di qualcosa è situato vicino a molti alimentari e bar. Economico per Barcellona, ma non è regalat...

Very nice hostel, safe and clean, well connected with the city center. I only spent one short night there so I didn’t use most of the common spaces but regarding rooms, safety and bathrooms I can only talk well about this place!

Showers were busted but other than that super nice hostel that was clean and in great area!

Lugar con gente rara, te dejas tus cosas en la consigna y te roban. Tienen un albañil que se dice transexual y cosas de ese Topo.

I want to preface this by saying the room itself was clean had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. - The location is bizarre for a hostel. We couldn’t find the hostel, and at night that part of the city is not safe. It’s a floor of an apartment building that was converted into a hostel. It feels intrusive to the tenants living in the building. I would NOT travel here as a solo female traveler. I would not return due to safety, location and lack of hostel camara...

The beds were very squeaky, so whenever anyone would shift everyone would know. The location was fine, and the staff were friendly. At one point I couldn't enter the building because there was a tweaking guy blocking the doorbell that one must ring to enter.

Room was great, even included a small balcony that we could actually go out on. Very clean and large bathroom next door. The best feature was the large rooftop balcony - unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest and we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked to.

Sinceramente, no tengo ninguna queja. El personal es amable; cuando necesitas algo, están ahí para ayudarte y guiarte. Nada que añadir.

The dorm was good, we took it for 4 days, they dont clean every day, the staffs was cool.

Buena opción cerca a todo para quedarte, es pequeño pero tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar la noche allí. Muy bonito, atención amable. Lo único q me hizo sentir un poco insegura es que alguien abrió la puerta en un momento en que estábamos durmiendo con el TV encendido. No sé si quizá fue porque pensarían que no estábamos y lo iban a apagar porque en la noche que salimos dejamos encendido el TV y al volver estaba apagado pero hubieran tocado antes. No vi quién era, por eso piens...

Nice Hostel with friendly staff, a nice terrace, well equiped kitchen, 24/7 Reception, Luggage storage, comfy, but a bit noisy beds, easy to use lockers where you don't need your own lock, nice Location All in all a good Hostel
