Un mec bourré juste à côté de moi est tombé sur les lit de tout le monde et il s’est vomi dessus, une odeur de pieds horrible, toute la nuit les gens parlent dans la pièces. Propreté médiocre. J’ai dormi 4 heures.
A drunk guy right next to me fell on everyone's beds and he was vomiting on it, horrible foot odor, people were talking in the rooms all night.
Staff muito mal educado e grosseiro. Quartos muito sujos. Banheiro também. Pelo menos tem ar condicionado.

the location was decent, there's a bus a few min walk away. Atmosphere was fine, pretty social, lights just auto shut off around 11pm. what i hated was that the room my bunkbed was in smelled so bad and musty, the stench was horrible and the window was open but there was no ventilation at all. i did not sleep well because it smelled so bad and there was no ac or air in the room. they give you bedsheet/thin blanket sheet to install yourself. also luggage storage is 5 euros would not come back
Major cons: ❌Automatic lights that turn on anytime someone enters the room, except for at night past 11; but don’t be surprised when you’re abruptly woken up at 9am every single day. ❌The showers last (i counted) 7 seconds before you have to repress the button and they are lukewarm at best. Not enjoyable whatsoever. ❌Nobody socializes with each other, everyone just sits on their phones in the lobby ❌No ATM but they expect cash for beer crawl (that nobody actually goes to)

The air conditioning is failing so it was very hot in the rooms, wifi with very poor reception, in most hostels they guard your luggage before the free check-in and there they charge it, the facilities are old, the lid of no garbage can worked, the bathrooms and rooms with lack of sanitation, the reception person Josep was very rude on our arrival and made us feel uncomfortable showing little professionalism and empathy, however, Carlos was very friendly
So I’m gonna be honest here, I was expecting a lot better. The pictures made it look like it was really good, but for the amount of money we paid I would not recommend this hostel. It was not clean. Our room felt like a cave. The lights turned off when we were showering and then started flickering. Overall my experience was not the best at this hostal and I would not recommend unless you are a caveman who likes to live in a cave. Would pay five dollars maximum to stay at this hostel.
Let me be the first to tell you- you can find somewhere better. I beg of you. We were catfished by the photos. For the price we paid, we are expecting a lot better. I felt like I was sleeping in a jail cell for the worst of crimes.
The rooms are super packed but you only have lockers for your belongs. Additional hooks in the showers/bathrooms and rooms would make a huge difference given the small space you have. The shower light turns off every few minutes and the only way to turn it on is to get out of the shower… so very frustrating and I don’t take long showers. Everything else was just fine. Very disappointing given the price for this hostel. Not much of a social environment if you are solo traveling…
Disgusting showers with unreliable lights. I showered in the dark multiple times. The rooms were extremely overcrowded with fake windows which opener onto other rooms rather than outside. The dorms were filthy and truly felt like a prison. The atmosphere was awful with few decorations and dim lights.

Overall not a bad hostal. Good location, with all the facilities you could ask for. Washing machine, dryer, fully-equippped kitchen, you name it. I stayed in the 14-mixed dorm, which is what it is. The lights are automatic, and with people coming and leaving throughout all hours of the night, I hope you're not a light sleeper. The washing machine also didn't clean my clothes, and the dryer left them damp. I'd recommend using the laundromat a couple blocks away. Beware the hair in all the sinks.
Hola Hostel Eixample was a good experience. Personnel were very nice, and helped me with everything. I stayed in the largest room, with 12 or 16 beds. The lockers were a bit noisy (a problem if you have to take your luggages out late in the night or early in the morning) and not so big. The bed was ok, but there was a space between it and the wall that bothered me a little. The bathroom is very big, and the showers are only separated by its cabins, which can be a little uncomfortable.
Propre, fonctionnel, assez de douches et de toilettes pour tout le monde avec gel douche dans les douches et savon dans les toilettes ! J'étais en dortoir de 14 personnes et on avait tous un rideau avec prise et lampe dans notre lit donc très pratique ! Chacun avait son casier, à côté de son lit avec le badge qui permet d'ouvrir casier et chambre ainsi que rentrer dans l'auberge, parfait au niveau sécurité ! Et très bien placé !
Clean, functional, enough showers and toilets for everyone with shower gel in the showers and soap in the toilets ! I was in a dorm of 14 people and we all had a curtain with a socket and lamp in our bed so very convenient ! Everyone had their locker, next to their bed with the badge that allows you to open the locker and bedroom as well as enter the hostel, perfect in terms of security ! And very well placed !
Staying at Hola Hostel honestly made my Barcelona trip so much more special than I ever expected. The location was perfect, super easy to get around and explore the city from there. What really made it unforgettable though was how warm and friendly everyone was. It felt so easy to connect with people and just enjoy the moment. El hostel esta bueno, buena ubicación, buen servicio. Lo malo es que los colchones son colchonetas, las habitaciones muy ruidosas debido a los lokers de y proximidad de las camas. Para el precio que cobran deberia ser mejor. Y si estan buscando un hostel donde conocer gente, con ambiente y demas definitivamente este no lo es.
The hostel is good, good location, good service. the bad thing is that the mattresses are mattresses, the rooms are very noisy due to the locker rooms and the proximity of the beds. for the price they charge it should be better. and if you are looking for a hostel where you can meet people, with atmosphere and others this definitely is not it.

It was what I expected for the price. The good: - free towel - lockers have a key card The bad: - They make you do your own bed and remove sheets when you leave, which makes me question how often they clean the rooms. - The shared bathrooms don’t get cleaned enough. - I got no tour of hostel. Like the guy you can tell does not want to be bothered.

Our 2 day stay at the hostel was great! Rooms were clean and the staff at reception were always helpful and nice. The location was also a big plus. Higy recommend 💗
The rooms were very dingy and not the cleanest. Mine did not have a window and looked different than the photos. They also did not give you a comforter only a sheet. The showers also shut off every 20 seconds and did not get very warm. For the price though it was ok.
the bed in the dorm room was good. Showers required to push the water button about every 5 seconds.The location is in Eixample, rather far away from many touristy areas (which I was fine with)

Nice and helpfull staff. Good kitchen. People are loud all day and night in the sleeping rooms, but thats not the hostels fault. the duveys are very thin so it was a bit cold at night in february. It took a long time to get medium warm water in the shower. Over all, if I go back to Barcelona Im staying here, easilly

Todo bien con el alojamiento solo que las camas eran un poco incómodas y las regaderas un poco viejas, pero todo lo demás bien.
All was well with the accommodation only the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the showers a bit old, but everything else was fine.

Me sorprendió para bien el lugar, estuve en una habitación femenina de 16 camas y tenía mi propio locker, cortina en la cama, sábanas que me las dieron en la recepción cuando llegué y una toalla de cortesía, luz, enchufe y suficiente espacio. Solo tuve un pequeño problema con el wifi que el personal me lo solucionó enseguida. Las duchas y baños siempre limpios, al igual que la cocina. Lo único que mejoraría sería el colchón ya que es un poco fino pero el resto muy bien!
I was in a women's room with 16 beds and had my own locker, curtain on the bed, sheets that were given to me at the reception when I arrived and a complimentary towel, light, plug and enough space. i just had a small problem with the wifi that the staff fixed right away. the showers and bathrooms are always clean, as is the kitchen. the only thing that would improve would be the mattress as it is a little thin but otherwise very good!
