Bed bugs!!!! Staff didn’t seem to care much but they refunded me. Had to spend most of the day dealing with it and finding somewhere else to stay. Also only 4 lockers for a 6 bed room…weird and annoying.
DO NOT BOOK USING HOSTELWORLD! When I arrived at the hostel, they would not recognise that I had already paid a deposit and forced me to pay the entire price even though I explained that this is not correct. The staff were amongst the least friendly that I’ve encountered and were unable to help. I sent multiple emails to try to resolve this and no one has replied, so they have effectively stolen my deposit. My experience in this hostel was quite disappointing. The location is great and quite central but relatively quiet. The staff was partially nice but I now about some others that have left after one night partially because of the staff's attitude. My room was a single bed room. Las piezas no tienen limite de edad y nos toco en una pieza con un hombre de aprox 90 años que se paseaba desnudo por la pieza mientras hacia ruidos raros, no pudimos dormir en las tres noches
The pieces have no age limit and I play us in a piece with a man of about 90 years who walked around the piece naked while making strange noises, we couldn't sleep for the three nights
DO NOT STAY HERE! I arrived before check-in and wanted to leave my luggage in luggage room, as I was able to do so free of charge. MY BAG WAS STOLEN. Even though the room was under lock and key, the staff were rude and unhelpful. I was told they couldn’t do anything without a filed police report. I filed the report until 3 AM! I came back, and still they couldn’t do anything. I was told “this is Barcelona and people steal things all the time, sorry.” THATS ALL!
I don’t recommend at all. The manager and Ivonne, one of the staff members know ZERO about hospitality. How do they even work there?! They tell you as it’s a hostel you can’t have a more respectful treatment. When I arrived the only person who was nice was the cleaning lady, Elvia. She should work at the front desk. There are no places to rest ouside your room. The lounge areas are always closed, I don’t get why. The only good thing about this please is the location. All the rest is not ...
It could be a nice place but the common spaces as advertised are in reality locked with padlocks! and not available to the guests. Most of the rooms are very small, without windows and desks, so if you need to work remotely or just want to relax somewhere outside of your room, there is no possibility. So, lots of misleading advertising. Most of staff v very unhelpful unfortunately. Many guests leave to other hostels beausse of that.
We were treated with the upmost disrespect and rudeness at this location. When we arrived, we explained that our flight was delayed so we did not even stay the first night. They still proceeded to charge us for two nights stating that it is not their problem. We had separate reservations, but came together yet they still forced us to stay in separate rooms when there was clearly an open bed in 1 of the rooms. Lastly, when I asked for towels, staff talked shit in Spanish under their breath. 0/10
Nothing but a lot of aesthetics. We were 3 people, we booked the same room but we were put in separate rooms. As if the mistake was not enough, the employee was arrogant, rude and pedantic, insisting that the reservation was "subject to availability", although on the website there was no trace of this detail. We felt cheated.
My badest Hostel I ever had. And I travel a lot, have been in so many hostels. It was so bad that I changed the hostel, although I have paid for it.

My experience wasn't as good as the first time I stayed there some years ago. we arrived and realised there was no key for our room locker so we had to leave our bags and belongings in a unsecure place. We dropped our bags off and went for a late night strole, when we arrived back someone was in my bed. His bed was broken so he was told to use the other (my bed) and I had to sleep in a unsecure top bunk bed. They did fix the problem the following day which is a plus. one staff member was nice.
Clean, safe, and welcoming
They offer free towel and Locker with key. It was really useful. Also, space in bed is quite spacious. I am totally recomended!

Casa Gracia has an incredible charm, its staff kindly welcomes you with a smile. at the reception a girl who is doing the multifunctional check in kindly gave me all the info and I went up to explore the building a bit. the best of all is the terrace which has a very large space. breakfast is something worthwhile, you have so many options that you can't even try everything. the room in which I stay is very spacious and with a small living room with carpet, table and three puffs

Bien ubicado y limpio. Camas cómodas y no se escuchaba ruido de afuera. Nuestra recepcionista no fue muy amable y no nos dio mucha información, pero el resto del personal fue servicial. Well located and clean. comfortable beds and no noise was heard from outside. our receptionist was not very friendly and did not give us much information, but the rest of the staff was helpful. not all lockers have a key to lock (they should change the system x locks) the bathroom inside the room, very nice but all glass so the light lit up the whole room and you could see the silhouette of the person inside. they keep your luggage after checking out, although they charge you 5€ per piece
Casa de banho tinha uma frincha na porta que dava para olhar para lá, o que é inconveniente, principalmente em dormitório misto. A porta do chuveiro não fechava completo e se não houvesse cuidado de quem tomasse banho, molhava o chão todo. Aconteceu isso 2 dias dos 5 dias. As paredes são de papel e na última noite, o andar de cima fez imenso barulho, no qual se fez queixa, onde aliviou mas passado 1 hora, voltaram ao mesmo. Falta de civismo dos hóspedes nisso.
Bathroom had a fringe on the door that gave to look at it, or which is inconvenient, mainly in mixed dormitory. the shower door did not close completely and if you did not take care of who was taking a bath, the whole floor would get wet. this happened 2 days out of 5 days. as the walls are paper and on the last night, the upstairs made a huge noise, no one complained, where relieved but after 1 hour, they went back to the same. lack of civility of the guests in this.
The cleanliness of Casa Gracia is awesome and overall it's a nice hostel. The issues arose from the disorganization of the staff as well as the overall facility. We arrived around 11 pm and they did not have any keys so we had to wait over 30 minutes for a security guard to let us into our room. As most hostels, there were beds assigned to us and when we got to the room, there were multiple people in their wrong bed. The lockers did not have the correct keys either. Overall, an iffy experience.

I really liked Casa Gracia, it’s in a great location, the subway is close and you can walk to Casa Batlló and Milà from there, I loved how clean it is, and the bed was comfy. The staff was ok, they were nice but not so able to give you many informations about the places you could visit, maybe it won’t be a problem to you, well, I would definitely stay again.
Not the best hostel experience. Location was wonderful and facilities were good but the customer service was very poor and there were some basic annoyances in the room that felt like a lack of care for guests. I was accidentally overcharged for my room and it took four days of following up and threatening escalation to finally get refunded. There were no hooks to hang anything in the room, very limited space for four people and the shower head did not stay up.

En general bien la estaría, pero los portazos que sentí todas las manañas era impresionante. No se si era el personal de aseo o que, pero súper desagradable. Lo otro a mejorar es la iluminación de las habitaciones, súper oscuras. Lo más demás impecable, habitaciones limpias.
In general it would be fine, but the door knocks I felt every night were impressive. i don't know if it was the toilet staff or what, but super nasty. the other thing to improve is the lighting of the rooms, super dark. the rest impeccable, clean rooms.
Don‘t expect a comfortable night. It‘s very loud and the atmosphere is not very welcoming. All very basic. 1 out of 3 people at the reception that I had contact with were friendly. I had to pay for the parking myself not like advertised on hostelworld as included (which is very expensive if you really choose the parking next to the hostel). So one might as well choose the cheapest option in the city since you can‘t expect much from this place.
Mooi hostel. Ik had de privé kamer voor 1 persoon. Ik vond de kamer wel wat prijzig voor wat het is, 160 eu op zaterdag, maar waarschijnlijk zijn dit de prijzen voor Barcelona. Ligging is perfect!
I had the private room for 1 person. i found the room quite pricey for what it is, 160 euro on saturday, but probably these are the prices for barcelona. the location is perfect!

Beds were great, own charging ports. Liked having bathroom attached to room. Didn’t check out all the facilities but building was great and I enjoyed the location!
This was the best hostel I have stayed at yet! The location was perfect, my room was so nice, clean, and comfortable, and the shared areas were plentiful, clean, and ended up being very useful. I felt safe (even after getting everything stolen from me elsewhere) and found the staff to be very caring and helpful in my situation. Highly recommend, especially for girls traveling alone:)
