Ratagan Youth Hostel

+ A szoba nem volt rossz, az ágyak kényelmesek voltak

- Mindenhol rossz volt a szag, a folyosói WC-t nem lehetett bezárni, folyamatosan jött ki a büdös belőle és rossz volt a hangszigetelés is

- Organizzazione dormitori, numero bagni disponibili rispetto al numero di ospiti.

+ Cleaness

- The hostel is very expensive for what it offers. We paid for breakfast but had to clean it up afterward. There weren't many bathrooms for the girls. The best thing was the lake very close, but with the mosquitoes, we had to run from the car to the hostel.

- Ok car c’est le seul logement à tarif raisonnable dans le coin. Mais si non l’établissement n’est vraiment pas terrible. C’est fondamentalement propre mais les lits sont inconfortables, tout est sombre et mériterai un bon coup de frais.

- La stanza scomoda e piccola. Rapporto qualità prezzo per nulla conveniente

- la falta de limpieza en la cocina y los utensilios. Desafortunadamente nos tocó con otros viajeros que no respetan las normas establecidas del YH

+ Emplacement au bord du loch très agréable. Petit déjeuner correct

- La douche était froide Wifi pas disponible en dehors du salon

+ La ubicación y el entorno. La amabilidad del personal. Las instalaciones comunes del alojamiento.

- La limpieza. Había algún tipo de insecto por la noche en la habitación. Acabé con toda la cara llena de picaduras.

+ El sitio es bonito... como todo lo que le rodea pero no está cerca de ningún núcleo urbano. El baño fuera de la habitación estaba limpio y tenía lo necesario

- El personal era poco serio

+ La atención de la recepción, gran servicio.

- El acceso al lugar es complicado, y faltan plazas de aparcamiento, pero queda compensado con las maravillosas vistas que ofrece el entorno.

+ L’emplacement est magnifique. Cette petite auberge était parfaite dans le cadre de notre road trip. L’accueil y est très chaleureux !

+ La gentillesse du personnel , le site , la vue , le confort et la propreté de l’auberge

+ unbelievably clean fantastic facilities - totally exceeded our expectations lovely friendly lady on reception - very helpful comfy beds immaculate bathrooms & communal areas will definitely be back again.

+ Kényelmes ágyak

- Fizetős a törölköző. 5-en jöttünk együtt, de csak 4 személyes szobák voltak, így az egyikünj egy 8 ágyas hálóteremben aludt

+ Emplacement idyllique, on se croirait seul au monde, au bord d'un lac, magnifique. L'auberge est typique écossaise, belle décoration. Cuisine très spacieuse, salle à manger et salon également. L'extérieur est très reposant. l'hote d'accueil, un jeune a été super sympa, petite attention pour ceux comme nous qui parlons pas trop anglais, petite fiche traduit en français. Super

+ This youth hostel has a lovely cosy and clean sitting room with gorgeous loch and mountain views from the windows. From our family bedroom we could hear the stream down below. There is a beautiful private garden on the loch edge which has some flowers, bird feeders and a picnic table. It is not impossible to do day trips to the Isle of Skye from this distance. However, there is plenty to do nearer to the youth hostel. You can just wander out for a short stroll along the lane straight from the hostel, or you could climb up any number of mountains on your doorstep, or take a drive over the ratagan pass to the glenelg ferry where I think there is a nice cafe or where you can hop on the turntable ferry for a fun sail. Its all a beautiful area!

+ The place is fantastic, the view is amazing and you have the lake just in front. Staff is very kind and always willing to help you 😊

+ Traumhafte Lage am See

+ Der diensthabende Herbergsvater Stewart war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit, freundlich und hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass die Atmosphäre im Haus sehr, sehr angenehm ist. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es macht Spaß, sich darin zu versorgen. Man kann sich aber auch leckere Tiefkühlgerichte an der Rezeption kaufen. Da es kein Geschäft in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt, ist das ein sehr praktisches Angebot. Die Jugendherberge liegt direkt am Wasser. Im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Man kann tolle Wanderungen in der wunderschönen Natur unternehmen - auch direkt ab der Jugendherberge (war ohne Auto unterwegs). Toll, dass man einen Fön an der Rezeption ausleihen konnte!
