Totally over-rated. I regret trying this place. Reception was very rude

Cosy space with character, a great location, super retro vibes! It was quiet and not very social when I visited. The toilets were clean and well organised. Downside would be the beds, they’re quite tough. And squeaky floor boards that will make it hard for light sleepers. But otherwise all good for a hardy backpacker!

Hiro and all the staff were really helpful with my stay, the location is cool to eat out and near the subways, the plus is the soundtrack and general “musical vibes”. Nice rooftop also, and good coffee Arigato!

Great vibe and brilliant facilities and location, plus friendly staff. Didn’t have much atmosphere while I was there but tbh that depends more on the other guests plus I was out of the hostel a lot!

A really nice, cozy hostel with friendly staff. It's well located by two metro lines and has a relaxed atmosphere. The pillow was uncomfortable but aside from that, everything else was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hostel! Perfect location and quiet at night. Cute cafe downstairs and super helpful staff. One thing to note is that there’s only two showers- one in the big mixed dorm and one by the smaller upstairs dorms. Since I was upstairs it wasn’t an issue though. Please note the stairs are steep but the staff helped me carry my bags up. Couldn’t recommend more!

Cute Hostel, love the vibe. Just not very social

Super leuk hostel. Erg gezellige sfeer en inrichting. Echter mocht het wel wat vaker schoongemaakt worden… bedden zijn oud en er hangt een licht irriterende geur. Maar door al het andere kon ik dat door de vingers zien. Shout out naa yusuke, zo een aardige man die er werkt. Chille gast.

Schönes Hostel mit Vintageflair in guter Lage! Kann ich nur empfehlen, wenn man in Osaka ist.

Staff was very kind and the facilities were great. The atmosphere in the hostel's cafe/bar was good for chilling, but the hostel wasn't as social as I would have hoped.

the best hostel i stayed in on my 3month backpacking trip! location is great and the place is super cozy & clean, you can really tell they put love into this hostel & cafe! could not recommend more if your in osaka 🫶🏼 love from switzerland

Best hostel ive stayed at in terms of the vibes. The staff were really friendly they always had good music playing and the bar was a great hangout spot. Their food was also really good.

Super nettes Personal, sehr sauber und in einem coolen Retro Look! Wenn man nachts von Dontonbori zum Hostel laufen muss sind's ca.45 min, einfach bis 5 Uhr durchziehen, dann sind's nur 15min👌 Die Banh Mi (Sandwiches) in dem Hostel sind supergut!

lovely staff, cozy atmosphere and has everything you need! beds are comfy and bathroom was very clean. enough space for big suitcases etc in your locker. the common room is also a café and record store: a very warm welcome! the people weren’t too social but the staff were! would definitely visit again :)

I had an amazing stay. The staff was so sweet and friendly. The bed were also very comfortable and nice and warm.

Really loved our stay here! The downstairs area is a working bar/cafe with events and great food/drinks options. There’s even a small loft area which is hostel guest access only. Staff super friendly. Only one shower is a minor complaint but we weren’t in too much of a hurry so didn’t bother us too much.

sweet little place to stay in the older more kitschy part of osaka. small walk to dotonbori and has plenty of transport links to get you around. the staff are pleasant and the downstairs shop is a great to hangout in. biggest gripe is only one shower for the ten person bunks and there happens to be an older Japanese gentleman living in the dorm..he's nice but it's a little odd. would def recommend if you're staying in Osaka!

Super nice hostel, right next to the Sinsekai Tower and lots of eateries and izakayas. Staff was super friendly, the café comfy, always some music playing, I wish I could've stayed longer!

I really enjoyed my stay here! My first hostel in Japan. I found first being in Japan extremely overwhelming but this little hostel really made it feel ok. It's not perfect but it was absolutely worth what I paid and would have liked to stay a little longer. The food is also really good! I'd stay here again. Main thing I'd say is that I came back to staff leaving the dorm door open fairly frequently, that's all.
