Terrible experience. Left shortly after arriving. Not clean. When we arrived they decided to put us in the different room than we booked. Air con is broken. The room smells like cat pee. Sad to have to give this review. But they really need to fix things.
Smells like mould and dirty. Not the best location
The property was cold and very damp even the blankets were damp, the bathroom was so dirty I didn’t use the shower throughout my 3 day stay, water dripping from the ceiling constantly due to lack of ventilation in the shower room and ceiling in bathroom and bedroom full of mould
el lugar tiene muy buena ubicación, la zona es segura, amables con muchas opciones para el turista. sin embargo, la habitación privada está en el techo, tenía algunos "problemas" de mantenimiento (regadera rota y la llave del lavabo suelta). También, por estar en el último piso tiene en la parte superior de la habitación la terraza, no tiene horario limitado para su uso, en una noche se quedaron hasta 1 am y no dejaban dormir, mucha gente durmiendo en sillones del lugar y desayuno sin opc...
The beds were very uncomfortable and toilets/showers were dirty. Kitchen was basically unusable as it was extremely dirty and smelt terrible. The overall vibe was weird, seemed to be a lot of people smoking weed and drinking despite the signs saying no alcohol. However, the dinner was delicious and the manager was lovely and helpful. Also free breakfast was nice.
Cleanliness could be improved. Staff was uninvolved. There was not much space in crowded rooms. Dark rooms without widows or with a very little window. The atmosphere was strange.
Just ok, one AC in a room didn’t work in a 43 degree weather, felling like burning. But the staff and breakfast are good
The location was good and the rooftop terrace was nice. Bed wasn't the comfiest and there was no lock on the door to my room, nor lockers. I didn't feel confident about leaving things in the room. And even with two blankets, the room was cold at night as windows didn't close all the way. Kids in the street lie about alley closures so trust Google maps, not them.
funcionários super simpáticos, riad grande e bonitinho, café da manhã ok. o quarto feminino fica no terraço então é bem quente. o wi-fi funciona mais ou menos como em todas as medinas
It was one of the badest hostels i have ever been too! The dorm bed was horrible - it was unclean and broken with a saggy mattress where probably 1000 of people have slept before! The bed on top also didn‘t had any fence that you had to be scared to fall out. The room and bed linen in generel where not clean either. In the vommon area was not a nice atmodphere not reslly welcoming! I would not recommend this hostel even its cheap! I cancelled my second night and went to a nicer one.

Best hostel we stayed at in Morocco
Hostel precioso super bien situado en la Medina, el rooftop tiene unas vistas chulísimas de Fez, y hay muy bien ambiente. Habitación y baño muy agradables y limpios, desayuno incluido riquísimo. Repetiría sin duda. El personal sin duda genera un ambiente fantástico.

good. just make sure to avoid the guys in the median trying to guide you for the hostel and then asking for money.
Everything was fine. However, when we first got into our room, the floor was dirty, the sheets had hair on it (even though the bed was made) and there was undies in the bathroom, which tells me that someone perhaps sneaked in the room we booked before we arrived. The staff were quick to clean up everything on the spot. The staff was kind, relaxed and responded to our needs timely.

Super chill staff, nice and clean hostel. Also a really nice place just outside the medina, which makes it really nice to stay there.
The room was good. Unfortunately the breakfast was limited and frugal. If you were one of the last ones down for breakfast you were in danger of not getting very little or none at all.
Good location, opened the door for us past check-in time. The staff was only volunteers which sometime only did minimum effort. The roof top is amazing, and the dooms very spacious.

Well located property on the edge of the Fes Medina. Really big form rooms and comfortable chill out areas. Weren't too many people around and not the most social, but made a good break away from the chaos in the main Medina.
Everything was good! It just didnt feel like home. The beds were lowkey uncomfortable to be honest but in general I would suggest a stay. Very tasty breakfast.
I had a wonderful stay at Funky Fes, the hosts were amazing, the place is gorgeous, and the breakfast was perfect, would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Fes!!
Only stayed one night but the staff is AMAZING. Not only did they let us stay past check out woth no warning but when out of their way to make us breakfast long after it was over. Super helpful when needed ANYTHING or any information. They are doing construction so the AC wasn’t working, but it seems that they are moving quickly to have it back on. Definitely a great choice
Staff are so lovely and the hostel was beautiful inside. Free breakfast too.
Stay at Funk Fes! The two girls who run the hostel are super nice and helpful, they gave us a dinner recommendation which was really good. The hostel was clean and the beds were good. The terrace had a cool view of the city. There's a space for working with tables and plugs in a quiet area of the hostel. The wifi was good too.

Alex and the team are super welcoming and helpful. The hostel is in a great location close to the edge of the Medina, it’s easy to get in and out of, use maps to get you there as some locals may tell you a road is closed but usually this happens around prayer times. Clean enough rooms and nice common areas and terrace, it was pretty quiet when I stayed so the atmosphere was chill. Only downside was that the outlets in the dorm didn’t work so had to go downstairs to charge my phone. Recommend...
