I booked by mistake twice a bed and I got another person to take up the bed and they still charged me one of the 2 nights. Completely unprofessional and a rip off to charge twice for a bed.
Het hostel ligt op een mooie locaties en de kamers en douches zijn netjes. Helaas was het dakterras mijn hele verblijf gesloten. Een van de redenen dat ik dit geboekt had. Daarbij vond ik het personeel niet erg vriendelijk. Bepaalde vragen wisten ze het antwoord niet op en ze namen ook niet het initiatief om daar verandering in te brengen. Voor ruim 50 euro per nacht vond ik dit hostel dan ook echt niet de moeite waard.
The hostel is in a nice location and the rooms and showers are neat. unfortunately the roof terrace was closed for my entire stay. one of the reasons I had booked this. plus I found the staff not very friendly. some questions they didn't know the answer to nor did they take the initiative to make changes there. for over 50 euros a night I found this hostel not really worth the trouble either.
It was the worse place I've ever stayed. They give you a sheet to sleep in. The noise outside- OMG. Never again.
Busque un hostel con terraza y cocina y estaba en reparación ambos sectores sin poder usarlos. En ningún momento avisaron que no tenía esos servicios que lo hacen diferente y más costoso. Me parece que eso debería avisarse ya que es uno de los motivos por lo cual lo seleccione. Tuve que salir a cenar y almorzar fuera dado que no había un sector donde poder se tarde y tomar o comer algo. Las habitaciones eran inseguras ya que las puertas no cerraban correctamente.
I look for a hostel with a terrace and kitchen and was in repair both sectors without being able to use them. at no time was it notified that it did not have those services that make it different and more expensive. i think that should be notified as it is one of the reasons i chose it. i had to go out to dinner and lunch outside since there was no sector where i could stay late and drink or eat something. the rooms were unsafe as the doors did not close properly.
The hostel had on their hostelworld page pictures of the rooftop that it had a great big rooftop, but it was under maintenance and they should have removed it from their hostelworld page its fake marketing. Where no place to socialize.
I would avoid this hostel. I feel scammed. Rooftop was closed during my whole stay. This has only been communicated at arrival. No refund was offered but a mere 15% discount on a next trip after a whole week of stay during high season. Overall good hostel but global communication is disastrous. Plus the promise has not been met
I chose this hostel because of the rooftopbar and the kitchen. Regrettably there was a renovavation, so I could not use the rooftopbar and kitchen. With was annoyoing. They didn't communicated that in advance. Otherwise I would defenetly pick another hostel were I could use a kitchen. The hostel was very loud. In the dorm you can hear the doorbel during the night. The postive part was that the staff was very nice.
I cannot understand the many good reviews. It was so loud and also cold at night, that i couldnt sleep. The rooms are so big, that you here every noise and also because of the location you heare the people from the street in the night, who are shouting. So if you like to sleep, dont stay here. I would not recommend this Hostel to a friend.
Way to little space to write what I have to. Short version: Hostel is generally fine. The room I had was way overpriced (120€ per night). Did not have an AC, you have to sleep with an open window at night. Street below the window is always noisy due to a club nearby (until 6am). Door does not isolate sound, you can hear the reception, the hallway and the bathroom right next to the door and they can hear you inside the room. It's located in the heart of the old town so of course there will be noise. What I liked about the hostel was the roof top. What I didn't like was that the communal kitchen on the roof top was very dirty and mostly occupied by the volunteers. Someone took my food in the fridge although I put my name and date - that's rude. I think the vibe of the hostel was not that great, mostly man who came there for drinking

Das Hostel ist sehr zentral gelegen, demnach ist es draußen sehr laut. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht klimatisiert also gibt es nur die Möglichkeit das man mit geschlossenem Fenster schläft und stickiger Luft oder macht die Fenster auf und hat die ganze Zeit Lärm. Zudem ist das Badezimmer nicht Geschlechter getrennt und die Sauberkeit dort war auch nicht immer gegeben. Eine positive Sache war die schöne Dachterrasse.

Habe mich richtig wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und durch den Vorhang am Bett hatte man seinen kleinen privaten Bereich :) Die Lage des Hostels ist ein Traum, man ist super schnell überall zu Fuß.
The rooms were clean and through the curtain at the bed you had your own little private area :) The location of the hostels is a dream, you are super fast everywhere on foot.
Fantastic stay, very clean. Bed super comfy. Great central location and staff super friendly, loads of events. Would recommend and I’ll be coming back!
Great hostel for socialising in the evenings at the roof top. Beds were very comfortable and showers were nice and powerful
Nice and decent hostel. Location was so central that it was quite noisy during the nights (I stayed during the weekend and there are several clubs in the same street). Hostel was clean, good showers, and although I was not there for the new contacts, I liked the friendly atmosphere.

Probably not worth the price difference Vs other hostels in Málaga. if you are there for a party the pubcrawls and events are external and city wide. if you are there for quiet some rooms are not very good by being on sucha busy street and noisy entry desk. people working there are great and very amicable. the one event in the hostel, occasional dinners is nice

Ik heb enorm genoten van The Urban Jungle hostel. De locatie is geweldig, midden in de oude stad en ongeveer 15 minuten lopen naar het strand. Personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam, schone kamers met gordijntjes bij ieder bed. Een mooie rooftop, en genoeg activiteiten. Al met al een enorme aanrader!
I have greatly enjoyed The Urban Jungle hostel. The location is great, right in the middle of the old town and about 15 minutes walk to the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful, clean rooms with curtains by every bed. A nice rooftop, and plenty of activities.
I have stayed in this property multiple times before and have always liked it. However this time was a very different experience. The room was unbearably hot at night and I was unable to sleep despite it being only spring. It was also incredibly loud. The biggest change I noticed this time was the decline in cleanliness there is a distinct smell of sewage across the property but mainly the bedrooms and the bathrooms were not clean. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.

good central location, very clean. peaceful? As said it's in the center, so expect some noise. Not bad though at all. Not super social, aside fro some people on the rooftop chilling on the rooftop. I'd call this one a good chill spot versus super social. staff was excellent and bathrooms / showers were very very clean

the best hostel if you’re in malaga, feels extremely friendly and the layout makes it easy to meet new people. great location and some of the most confortable beds i’ve ever seen in a hostel.

I feel ripped off since I booked by mistake twice a bed and they charged 72 euros (one night out of 2), but still expensice. Even though I found somebody else to take the bed. So they charged twice for the bed... Very noisy since its next to a club and its weirdly structured since the kitchen is on the last floor..
Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice hostel with good vibes and a perfect location. The rooftop terrace adds a lot of comfort and you can get to know als the other people staying there. The rooms are clean with a large space for all your stuff under the bed. Absolutely would stay again
