- I stayed at Stanza Hotel Medellín (Aug 14–19, 2025) after being redirected from Elemont Hotel, which canceled my reservation without notice or explanation. What was supposed to be a solution turned into a terrible experience. No internet throughout my entire stay, constant noise day and night, and no rest. I was assaulted near the hotel. I returned injured, and the room’s sheet got stained with blood, which is completely understandable given the situation. Instead of helping me, the staff blamed me and threatened to charge me a fee if the blood didn’t come out. During checkout, they almost didn’t let me leave because “they had to check if the blood came out of the sheet.” HUMILIATING. No empathy or responsibility was shown. I demand a formal apology and partial refund. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. As both a Colombian and an international traveler, this has been one of the absolute worst experiences of my life! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Me hospedé en Stanza Hotel Medellín (14–19 agosto 2025) tras ser redirigido desde Elemont Hotel, que canceló mi reserva sin aviso ni explicación. Lo que debía ser una solución, fue una experiencia terrible. Sin internet durante toda la estadía, ruido constante día y noche, y cero descanso. Fui asaltado cerca al hotel. Volví con heridas visibles y la sábana de la habitación quedó manchada de sangre, algo completamente comprensible dada la situación. En lugar de ayudarme, el personal me reclamó y amenazó con cobrarme un cargo si no salía la mancha. Al momento del check-out casi no me dejaron salir porque “tenían que revisar si la sangre salía de la sábana”. HUMILLANTE. Nadie mostró empatía ni asumió responsabilidad. Exijo una disculpa formal y compensación parcial. No recomiendo este hotel bajo ninguna circunstancia. Como colombiano y viajero internacional, ha sido una de las peores experiencias de mi vida!
+ La atención de la chica de noche.
- Solicite 4 horas adicionales en el hotel, porque teniamos pico y placa para viajar,pero no dejaron, que teníamos que pagar una noche mas, pudiendo cobrar solo 4 horas adicionales, me he quedado en varios hoteles de medellin y normalmente cuando se pasa la hora de salida cobran la ahora adicional.

+ Pésima atención al cliente, no sabes resolver los inconvenientes que se presentan.
- Es muchísimo más pequeño de lo que muestran, no es lo que muestran en las fotos en cuanto a amenidades y da sensación de enclaustramiento. No hay luz natural para por lo menos saber si es de día o de noche.
+ No pude dormir alli, al llegar no tenian habitacion disponible para 4 personas que eramos
- Cuando llegue al hotel se me comunicó que no disponían de una habitación con 2 camas grandes. Yo viajaba con 2 niñas de 5 y 7 años, a lo que les contesté que no podía dejar dormir solas a las niñas. La única solución que me dieron fue la de un colchón hinchable individual. Esto se me comunico al llegar al hotel, habiéndome llamado previamente y animado a hacer el check-in. Tuve que perder la mañana y buscar un hotel ese mismo día, asumiendo yo el coste extra
+ Los alrededores buenos restaurantes se ve tranquilo y seguro.
- No servía el tv. No había Internet. El baño tenía mal olor. La señora de recepción no estaba capacitada.

- When we left the hotel the girl at the reception offered us to order a cab, because Uber did not come she said that it would cost about 20 dollars, which was cheaper than Uber. In the end, the cab driver took 30 bucks from us ..... The driver said that such a price could not be.

Gutes Hostel mit super Lage und guten Frühstück, nur leider nicht so sozial.
L’hostel est sympa, bon emplacement, pas trop d’ambiance non plus, propreté nickel, le personnel était très sympa, a une exception prêt.
Atmosphere was weird other than that good hostel
Nice hostel with rooftop and very big kitchen and breakfast included. It was just very empty and that’s why not that social. Very good location and close to Viajero where you can go for party
De los hostales más hostiles en los que me he hospedado en la vida, agradezco a Julián que fue el único host con buen servicio y a las señoras de servicios generales muy bien.
The room was really smelly and there were some type of insects in my locker. Also the showers are weirdly located in the bar area
Es mi segunda vez acá, personal amable, desayuno rico. Mejorar la red WIFI que a veces no nos funcionó y a las camas tal vez un poco de privacidad no le caería mal como algún black out o algo así. . Los seguiría eligiendo y recomendando como hostal, muchas gracias.
The hostel was really good. the location is great, in walking distance to poblado metro station. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen ist equiped with everything you need for a simple meal and the breakfast was really good too.
All staff were very helpful, breakfast is served very fast and is nice. Sebastián at the desk was extremely helpful with a problem i had. Great stay in a nice area of Medellin.
The staff was quite unfriendly, though I might have just caught them on a bad day. The dorms were extremely hot, even when it was cool outside. The mattresses have plastic covers, which is good, but the sheets don’t fit well and keep slipping off. On the plus side, the showers are great, there’s free breakfast, and the location is excellent. I only stayed one night and decided to move to a different hostel for the following nights.
Mi estancia no hubiera sido la misma si no me hubiera quedado en 💜🐵, limpieza diaria, desayuno preparado en 5 minutos, bartender chevere y bebidas baratas, Suki hermosa, y Sebastian y Juli siempre dispuestos a ayudarte.
Prós: localização boa, perto de tudo; Contras: quarto com 12 pessoas extremamente quente e fedido, sem circulação de ar direito, com locker pra mochila nada prático debaixo da cama. Eu não voltaria a me hospedar no lugar.
