Just a bad vibe. The staff are unfriendly and not engaged.
Staffs were not very helpful. At checkout they charged me 400rs just to drop me 5km by activa! That was one very bad experience.
Wij verbleven in dit hostel tijdens het laagseizoen (juli), maar ten opzichte van andere hostels waar we in dezelfde periode verbleven was dit veruit het minste. Het personeel aanwezig was zeer onbehulpzaam en toonde nagenoeg geen interesse in onze aanwezigheid. De kamer was vuil. Het zat er vol met zwarte schimmel, ook in de badkamer. Het stonk er ook erg. Het bed was extreem hard en de lakens gaven geen propere indruk. Het hostel heeft zeker potentieel, maar op dit moment is het verloederd...
We stayed in this hostel during the low season (July), but compared to other hostels where we stayed in the same period it was actually the least. The staff present were very unhelpful and showed almost no interest in our presence. The room was dirty. It was full of black mold, also in the bathroom. It stank too. The bed was extremely hard and the sheets did not give a proper impression. The hostel certainly has potential, but at the moment it is lost.

Paid upfront for 5 nights, left after two. Dorm was really stuffy and smelt pretty foul. Big hill to walk up. Sadly just not at all feeling it

Room & bathrooms were very run down, especially for the price. Not sure when the toliets/ showers were last cleaned. Cafe didn’t have lots of the stuff they were selling and my friend bought a kombucha which tasted like acid and ended up being out of date. Yoga class was amazing though, the instructor was so lovely & really kept the class interesting. Hostel puppy was also a highlight so cute!! Hostel is at the top of really steep hill just a warning!
The location and view from the rooftop was nice. However, the costumer service was not. I was ignored at the cafe one night and my room service request was then also ignored. I submitted my laundry one morning only to pick up a bag of dirty laundry the next morning with no warning that it wouldn’t be finished. The whole vibe felt like a boys club. While the men that worked as customer engagement on the roof were very kind and welcoming, every other part of my stay was uncomfortable.

the beds in dorm where really uncomfortable, no real mattress.. location is a bit off, but if you like that it's great! vibe is pretty chill and they offer daily adventure tours to mountains, waterfalls etc.

#1 hostel in Rishikesh! Rishi was an amazing host, music jamming every night was the best experience ever, and we kept going to secret places in Rishikesh all the time. The people who stay at this place have the best vibe. You can see ganga aarti from the terrace directly. I kept extending my stay, and I'll probably be back here soon!
Had a great time at Bunk stay, with the team and the hosts. I extended my stay several time. I recommend it :)
Loved the vibe. Also, wonderful terrace. Bathrooms and all are ok, not the cleanest ever but fine. Had a great time mainly because of Rishi and the other travelers around. Cool crowd, music jams, easygoing…

I absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend if you want a quiet but social place in Laxman Jhula. Staff is amazing ✨
très belle vue sur Reshikesh Le personnel est serviable et très sympa Le soir vous avez droit à une jam session Le matin vous pouvez faire un trek dans la forêt ou une session yoga Le goût du burger cheesy japalenos et les frites est excellent De plus si vous avez une question pour un taxi ou autres ils aideront toujours J'ai adoré mes 4 nuits là, merci
Beautiful view over Reshikesh The staff is helpful and very friendly In the evening you are entitled to a jam session In the morning you can go for a trek in the forest or a yoga session The taste of the cheesy japalenos burger and fries is excellent Plus if you have a question about a taxi or other they will always help I loved my 4 nights there, thank you very much
This was without a doubt the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The people who run the hostel are incredible, and I had a great GREAT time with them (I miss them!). I was very sad to leave this hostel and these wonderful people, but that's part of the travel ! Above all, if you stay at the hostel, follow Richie on his adventures and jam with him! Thank you. I sincerely hope to have the chance to see you again.

Couldn’t have found a better place to spend my time in peace and serenity. Also, the staff is amazing. Special thanks to the hosts Nakul & Rishi for organising the activities which made the trip memorable. If you are at this property, do try food from bunk cafe which has some great options along with the taste.

The stay was peaceful with great views, but felt boring at times. Staff mostly engaged with long-term foreign guests, ignoring new ones. Local transport was hard to find, café had limited food and closed by 9 PM. No flexibility from staff—I booked a mixed dorm by mistake and wasn’t allowed to adjust the amount when switching to a female dorm. Had to rebook and pay twice. Could be better with more support and engagement.

Loved bunk stay very much. The people are wonderful and manager Rishi is very kind and welcoming. Felt like a little family while I was there and will definitely be back if I ever come to Rishikesh again. The only downside is the bridge being down right by the hostel but nothing they can do about it.
