Perugia Farmhouse Backpackers

It is a beautiful place to relax, swim and watch the sunset, but that's about all. The kitchen has hardly anything, 1 knife and 1 glass, and it also says on the site that you can have breakfast for a fee, but that is not possible on site. You have to swim with a swimming cap, which you can buy there, but after asking several times, no response. I think the nice reviews about cosiness are from longer ago, the place has potential but lacks atmosphere.

I feel that the farmhouse itself is beautiful, the spaces and dorms are clean, and the area is quite lovely. We had a car so getting to the center was no issue for us. I feel that this place has a lot of potential to be more comfortable for guests. The owner was kind but in all of my interactions with her, I felt an energy that she was a bit rushed or stressed when speaking. Dirty,small kicthen. Bads shower. Nowhere to put your stuff. But nice place if you injoy the country side

This was a good stay, it was a bit expensive for what it was. The bunks are quite small and there are no locks on any of the doors but I felt safe the whole time. Facilities are very basic but they do the job. The property is very beautiful but it is a hike to get out there. The vibe is very much do it yourself, I just had to knock on doors to find reception, I think a little sign could do the job pretty easily to safe confusion. I found it to be social!

Very nice place to relax and enjoy the country. Perfect place for a couples get away.

Beautiful location. Peaceful surroundings. Had to do a bit of walking to get there on a Sunday when the usual bus routes are closed. But other than that, a nice place if you like to experience the countryside.

Loved this place, very relaxing and close enough to the city if you want to spend the day there. The view is simply incredible and the animals are just so cute. The kitchen needs to be worked on, it was a little bit of a challenge making dinner there.

Location is goregous but quite difficult to get too, theres a shop down the road but sells the basics which is completely fine! The doors dont get locked at all and there's no lockers to keep bags in so felt a little uncomfortable leavjnh stuff there when going walking all day, for the kitchen there's one hob so cant really cook unless youre cooking everything in one pot and there arent any near by restaurants/cafes unless you go all the way back into town! The place is really beautiful: a family farm with views of the city from above, a chance to see stars at night and experience a peaceful time relaxing on the deck of their beautiful pool or the porches. The location makes it special but also somewhat challenging to reach the city, particularly on Sunday, but if you have the patience for unreliable Italian buses its no problem. I had a very nice stay here and would definitely recommend considering stepping out of city hostels and giving this one ...

Loved this hostel! It’s definitely out of the way from the city, but it definitely has its charm! The hosts are so incredibly friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend it. Just be careful with leaving on sundays, holidays, or early mornings as it can be a bit tricky getting to the train station.

Enjoyed my stay here. Incredible scenery and the pool area is great. The owners have a very laid back hands off approach which is great but just means you may have to figure a few things out by yourself. My main criticism is that there is only one hob in the kitchen which can mean a bit of a wait if there are a few people trying to cook. This place is a hidden gem!

This place is beautiful, saw a few reviews saying it was far out from the main town but that’s actually the beauty of it. Such a cute farmhouse vibe there where very little people staying when I was there which was even better, no locks on the doors or lockers but I felt 100% safe felt like being in a family home. Beautiful breakfast every morning and use of the washing machine and plenty of sun for drying. The pool was perfect too! Would definitely come back here!

We enjoyed a very cozy time in the farmhouse with the beautiful view. I recommend staying here to feel like you are in Taylor Swift's album folklore. The only thing I would note is the bus took quite a while to Perugia but it did always come on time.

The staff was welcoming and nice! Its such a good place for both peace and calm, and exploring perugia and small cities around. Loved my stay, will be back

Family was lovely and the place is great too. It’s great to get away and enjoy the freshness of the mountains. Only complaint really was that there was only one light that worked in the rooms and the drain was clogged in the bathroom so the room would sort of flood when you showered. Other than that a great little place. Just fyi a bit far from the city centre.

Such a lovely property in the hills outside of Perugia. Beautiful place to relax and meet some cool people. A bit awkward to arrive because there’s no guarantee that the staff is always available because it’s a family running the hostel and living on the property so we had to navigate for ourselves when we first arrived. Navigating the bus into the city is pretty straightforward-30 min to center, 20 min to train station and there’s a grocery store 15 min from the farm. Kitchen facilities a...

Beautiful venue, quiet but quite off grid. Some miscommunication with staff and pool although promoted, it wasn't clean.
