The door to the room was coming off the hinges so wouldn’t lock properly, I was told I needed to get coins for the washing machine- did exactly that only to have put my clothes in for a cycle and they came out half dry, only then was I told by staff “oh yeah it’s actually broken” after we’d already discussed where I could get change to pay for it, staff were quite rude about this situation, facilities in bathrooms were disguising with urine on the floor and no toilet roll. SCONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE!!!È invaso da cimici da letto, non sembra perché i materassi sono nuovi ma io ne ho vista una correre nella mia valigia che ho preso con una bottiglia vuota e portata in reception, mi hanno spostata di camera ma hanno minimizzato. Ora sono invasa di bolle e dovrò disinfettare ogni cosa di casa mia. Sono molto arrabbiata per questo e non ho ricevuto niente da loro.....io ero nella stanza 102 poi spostata alla 4. Tutto ciò per me è assurdo!!!!

A estrutura do hostel é moderna, mas isso não compensa os problemas graves da estadia. Durante todo o período, a água do chuveiro não esquentava e o ar condicionado nao era quente, o que é inaceitável, especialmente no inverno. Além disso, passei por uma situação de assédio dentro do hostel, o que foi extremamente desconfortável e assustador. O staff é mal-educado. Um lugar que deveria ser acolhedor e seguro acabou sendo exatamente o oposto. Não recomendo e não voltaria.

Ostello pessimo sicurezza pari a zero. Sconsigliato.

Los baños no tienen seguro, el baño sucio y mal olor , dentro olor a encierro total hasta la ropa quedó con ese olor

It was not clean, the blankets smelled weirdly, the shower was disgusting and it lacks maintenance. Too expensive for not even having hand soap in the bathroom and not having the towel included.

Decided to ignore the bed bug comments. NEVER AGAIN. Woke up with 30+ bites on my legs and stomach, were flatter than my normal mosquito bites and in clusters. Found a bed bug the size of my nail on my towel on the ground. Manager gave me a refund for the last night I was staying there and moved me rooms. Found bed bug droppings on the floor in the next room. A staff member tried to gaslight me into thinking I’m the only one who’s had this issue. Pay the extra 5-10 euros and stay somewhere n...

this hostel is a public health hazard. The room was like a dungeon with no windows to even get some fresh air. there's no soap or toilet paper (when I asked I was told to bring my own!!) it's weird knowing everyone is walking around with dirty hands. The staff are careless, and some are even rude. The shower doors are see-through, the toilets doors have no locks. and the big surprise was BEDBUGS INFESTATIONS. I had to check out at 6 am. it's better to sleep under a bridge.

Parabenizo o staff, sempre muito atencioso e muito acolhedor. Luiz e Karen sempre estão bem dispostos e querem ajudar. Agora, a limpeza deixou MUITO a desejar. Banheiros e áreas comuns sempre sujos. Não tinha nem sabão líquido no banheiro para lavar a mão. Sempre faltava papel e as lixeiras sempre lotadas. Pelo preço que estão pedindo por noite, não apresenta tão bom custo benefício. Bem localizado!

Nice hostel, good for a night or two. Vibes weren't super social and the room was a bit warm. Otherwise fine!

it's a nice place, but air con not working so it was really hot especially at night, and the room had lovely big windows but that meant it was extremely bright so it was hard to sleep at times, & we had no soap in our bathroom the whole stay, Staff was nice and location is great tho.

The location in Trastevere is hard to beat, the vibe is young and social, and the overall facilities are decent. Most of all the beds are very comfortable! That said, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The room had a strong (almost unbearable sewage smell). On top of that, the bathrooms were missing soap, which feels like a basic that shouldn’t be missing. Housekeeping in general could use a significant step up. Personal muy amable (depende de quién te toque) pero instalaciones muy mejorables. Principalmente los aseos, dan bastante asco los baños, pude entrar en 4 distintos por un cambio de habitación (no fue elección mía, fue por logística suya), así que sí dan asco los WC.

We stayed in the All Female room, which comes with 2 showers in the room. If the showers were running at the same time, there would be no hot water in one of them. The beds were very comfortable, but mine had no accessible outlet nearby. There is no luggage storage in the rooms so we had to put our bags in the closet, which required getting the keys from the front desk every time. The rooms were clean and cleaned everyday we were there.

The bathroom in my room smelled like someone had peed on the wall and it had never been cleaned up. The main shower head was missing its handle but luckily the handheld head worked. The water in the shower also didn’t heat up in my first night. The bed was clean and there was good proximity to public transport but I would never stay there again and I also never leave reviews but I felt like I had to for this one.

Nel bagno della mia stanza l'acqua della doccia arriva a essere appena tiepida, non calda; il phon non funzionava, perciò ho rinunciato a fare una doccia. Del personale era presente solo l'operatrice in reception e nessuno in grado di verificare quanto ho segnalato.

Prese elettriche non funzionanti vicino al letto. Idem la luce. Coperte rovinate e puzzolenti. No bagnoschiuma in doccia. Aria calda assente dal sistema di condizionamento

That's the best place I've found in the area with a nice environment at a good price. I'll come back very likely.

I really enjoyed my stay in Rome at Hostel Trastevere and will certainly be back. You can't beat the location of this hostel, nor how helpful the staff is. Most importantly, they are responsive and ensure any issue is addressed. When there was an issue with the lodging beyond anyone's power quite late at night, they were incredibly helpful and I would 100% come back because of how that was resolved. Thank you Kat & team.

Posizione comoda, letto comodo ho scelto la camerata a 4 letti con bagno in camera. Un po rumoroso sabato mattina per lavori di restauro della pavimentazione ma del resto devo dire che sono stato bene.

The common rooms need a bit of work. There’s a kitchen but it’s not for the guests ? What’s the point in that ? There were no soap dispensers in the toilets until like my 4th day of stay. Sure cleaning happened every day, changing that sheets mopping etc but the bathroom experience was meh

Not clean at all. Mold in the bathrooms. The 8 bedroom dorms are in a separate building. Have to walk through the rain each time. Common areas are poorly designed/equiped. No kitchen. No real fridge.
