   Bposhtels takes people money and not reserves their reservations, arrived in Houston from a different state. Was told that we don’t have a reservation, that the hotel severed their contract with Bposhtels, the week before we arrived. Was not contacted by Bposhtels about it, they took our money and trying to get a refund is very difficult. Do not book with Bposhtels, they’re ripping people off.

   I spoke to someone that got scammed with this hostel. Basically she paid and made the reservation just to arrive and find out there isn't one. She got completely scammed. Please book only with reputable organizations. Please don't get scammed.

   ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I would not stay here again. From my first night, I felt uncomfortable. I repeatedly noticed someone walking past the women’s dormitory windows, and I was awakened during the night by dogs barking, which added to the uneasy atmosphere. The most concerning issue occurred when a male maintenance worker entered the women’s dormitory without knocking or announcing himself. On one occasion, I was completely nude when he entered. Another female guest immediately questioned why he was coming into the room. He claimed he was “checking” something, but no explanation justified entering a female-only dormitory without warning. There were multiple incidents involving this same employee entering the women’s dormitory unannounced. Several women in the room confronted him directly and later reported the behavior to management. During one of these confrontations, I personally observed him become hostile after guests raised concerns about privacy and safety. The situation became serious enough that some guests expressed fear and discomfort about remaining in the dormitory. One woman was so upset by the ongoing situation that she chose to leave because she felt uncomfortable and did not want to deal with further conflict. I also experienced confusion when my belongings were moved by staff without my permission. Thankfully, nothing appeared to be missing, but it created unnecessary stress and concern. A female dormitory should be a place where women can expect privacy, security, and professionalism. Entering without knocking or warning is unacceptable. Guests should not have to worry about their privacy being violated or feel intimidated for raising legitimate concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here. Management needs to take guest privacy, security, professionalism, and accountability much more seriously. Overall: 0/10 experience. I would not return.

   Horrible stay due to creepy maintenance man “William” who finds it acceptable to constantly open the female dorm room multiple times a day WITHOUT knocking so he can see us naked! I finally told him to STOP JUST ENTERING OUR HOSTEL FEMALE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING and his response “I don’t have to knock!” I then immediately went and reported him to the manager of the hotel (not hostel) Mr.Vo. After I reported this it sent William to retaliate by stalking our room and being threatening

   The hotel staff that manage check-ins. Bposhtel response was non-existent regarding the total lack of security in the room. If you want to chance *all* your valuables being stolen - stay in the shared accomodation. Otherwise book a normal hotel room. You have been warned! I left that night and booked the Howard Johnson. Zero security for your belongings. Unless you have a car to securely store your valuables **DO NOT STAY HERE**. - room backs into back of hotel - room does not have individual lockers for luggage storage - lockers that are available have transparent windows to view valuables. And items are locked with a pen lock and could be snapped in a few seconds.

   DO NOT STAY HERE- BE WARNED If you are a woman, do not stay in the women’s only hostel room especially. There’s a volunteer that lives in that room without disclosing that she works there, even after asking what she does for work. She sends information and pictures of your stay to the company’s owner. During our stay, I and my friend both booked separate beds in the same room and were sitting in bed watching a movie on a phone. She came in and informed us that we were breaking the policy that two people were not allowed to sit on the bed together (despite the websites rules only stating “RESERVATIONS ARE FOR 1 GUEST IN 1 TWIN BED”)- regardless, we moved out of the bed and laid in our separate beds. but this was the first we were made aware she had worked there after already staying a couple days. when i then asked the worker, named Capitola, why she didn’t disclose she worked there, she claimed she didn’t have to. We went to the front desk to inform them what happened. (Keep in mind- BPhostels rents/buys room from hotels and transforms the hotel rooms into hostels). and they suggest I talk to the owner, Marco because the hotel isn’t able to give refunds or rooms without their confirmation. The card states that we are able to call, text, or email with issues. After the owner stated via text that a room change or refund is not possible “due to policy” (see attached screenshot). He then claimed he was notified (by Capitola) that there were visitors brought into the room despite the fact that both of us were renting a bed in the same room. He then back tracked saying he will talk to her because we both have beds in that room. In the screenshot he also states that there were no other bed or rooms available. After getting him to call me, he then agreed to switch us rooms anyway, contradicting what he just said. In this call, he also mentioned that Capitola had sent information that me and my friend’s drinks we had bought claiming we took up too much space (we had two 6 packs of cans- not in fridge, a bottle of sprite, and an alcohol bottle- in the fridge). I then informed him that his staff had scattered items all around the room (which is in fact, against their policy), and he said he couldn’t trust me over her so he wasn’t interested in seeing the pictures, so I’ve attached them here. Marco mentioned that Capitola does have a name tag and should have it visible, yet she is an “undercover volunteer” who is set in these hostels to ensure policies are being followed, once again contradicting himself. Not to mention, none of the lights worked, items were glued down to walls and tables, and despite their being a worker living in the room, those things do not get replaced. We ended up totally leaving the hostel space and booked with the hotel- (Heights House- who we do recommend) because of how uncomfortable BPhostels made us. Extremely scammy, they do not disclose information, and refuse to give refunds. STAY AWAY.

   The property with the hotel manager and co workers were all great and a nice little Vibe. The lady that works with bposhotel. She worked as there person to check in with the guest. However, from the moment she seen me. She racially profiled me. She came into my room several times announced as well as telling her boss that I was Rude. When I thought I read where we the guest would be able to have company for a short time, but that wasn’t the point. I made that mistake and owned up to it. However the lady told me “No company and if you don’t like it you can cancel at anytime with no refund”. She never gave me time to say much. Every-time I come out the door she’s right there. Outside of all of that, the sty was nice.

   Horrible experience The customer service at this property is terrible . They are thieves. If you have a emergency and can not show up after pre paying for booking this property will not give a refund or even respond back. I tried reaching out to property several times and booking as well . They are horrendous and this property is a total dump that sits in the middle of a concrete jungle. I would not recommend.

   Very unprofessional people They took my money and said room was full after I paid then Told me to get refund with booking.
