As other comments have mentioned, there is a weird party vibe (more staff than guests) and it gets LOUD at night (music played until late and drunk people talking around the dorms). I wouldn’t go back for that reason. Also note that the beds in the dorm are just a mattress on the floor

The Funkyplace is a great hostel, but simply not my thing. Very friendly staff (thank you Adi for making my birthday special by making a cocktail for me ❤️) and the rooms are very cute. The big downside for me was the loud music untill 1 AM and Lovina which I didn't like too much - too much party vibe for me. But if you like that - definitely go here.

The property itself was great. The rooms clean and comfortable, the staff super sweet. The only real issue is that the hostel was trying really hard to be a party hostel when there was absolutely no one there to party. They played really loud live music until 12:30 am, so much so that our bed was practically vibrating from the noise. We barley got any sleep at all. It doesn’t make any sense since main reason people come to Lovina is to do the dolphin activity which requires an early morning wa...

Really nice stay, super friendly staff. Free breakfast was nice and tasty had lots of different options available. Was really close to the beach and there were lots of options for trips if you wanted to take them. Only thing was our bath towels were dirty.

Simply fantastic staff. Very welcoming and fun. The vibe at the bar was awsome and the room had a cool bathroom.

Very nice staff with events in the evening. A breath of fresh air and the perfect place to relax in Lovina.

Great hostel. Friendly staff, good location, very social, nice rooms and bathrooms. There was a homeless man in there bothering people but he was harmless. I wasn't a fan of the city of Lovina so I left after 1 day. But if you're staying in the city, this is a pretty good place.
