BVJ Opera-Montmartre

I wouldn't recommend. The staff are fine, pushy and not very friendly but i guess they did their job. the beds are creaky and give absolutly no privacy. The bathrooms are dirty and small. the location is okay, nothing special and feels far from everything. If you are looking for a comfortable and accesable home-base during your travels, i would not recommend. If you are looking for a place to sleep at night and thats it, this is the place for you.

This place was clean and conveniently located. They seem to charge people different rates, from 30-60 euros a night for the same room. The toilets are incredible tiny and if you are a big person, you might not be able to fit in them. The showers are also bad, because you can’t control the temp and have to keep pressing the button to turn it on. The rooms are really cramped and there wasn’t enough space for everyone to open their luggage. A lot of people partying here, so I couldn’t sleep

Truly a terrible experience with this hostel. When I went to my bunkbed it broke, almost crushing the girl beneath me and making me fall. When I informed the staff they were very nonchalant and told me just to enter another room to see if there was space. I searched three rooms in the middle of the night just to find a bed to sleep in. Ended up in a mixed dorm which is not what I paid for. When I asked for a refund they were incredibly rude and refused. Never going back. I don’t recommend at a...

Terrible! There are no toilet seats, the WiFi doesn’t work, and the staff are grumpy (I witnessed a fight between them and one of the hostel guests). They don’t have chargers by the bed either. Everyone has to huddle in the corner and wait for charging. The bathrooms are also so small that your plant legs will brush up against the dirty toilet as you try to leave the stall.

One specific receptionist was rude every time I saw him. The breakfast is literally a variation of bread or yogurt, the coffee is so watered down. There are no toilet seats, you are sitting on the bowl of the toilet… rooms have no space for storage so your trust is completely in our roommates. CASH ONLY. Don’t know why a hostel would ever do this? Extremely inconvenient. No towels provided. You are literally getting the BARE MINIMUM FOR A HEFTY PRICE.

Wi-Fi is awful, there's no intimacy in the room, staff is rude and incredibly there is no seat in the toilet. You're supposed to stand to take a shit (women can't even piss). Breakfast is okay.

It is very bad experience. No lock, cold water, or proper shower in the facilities. Also, it is not that very well located.

Me and my friend had an amazing stay there, hand down one of the best hostels we have ever stayed in, the staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable

The place is quite weird. Only one key for rooms, no locker in the rooms, showers are horrible, not even a hook to hold a towel. Very noisy with kids running around at midnight and no one does anything. Booked for 2 nights and left after the first night. Do not recommend.

Decent location. Most of the fun bars are near the notre dame area so it’s like an hour walk from there. The no lockers in the room is unfortunate. The breakfast is pretty basic. Towels cost 7 euro to buy which is insane. And the place only accepting cash is really inconvenient because they can still charge your card if you’re a no show. The area at night is pretty safe tho.

Totalmente satisfeita. Eu sou brasileira e tenho deficiência auditiva, não falo francês nem inglês, infelizmente, por causa da deficiência, para mim é difícil compreender as palavras. Mesmo assim tive um atendimento atencioso com minha condição. Sou muito grata a todos os colaboradores. Café da manhã é delicioso e muito bem apresentado. Au revoir!

Very nice, small and cozy hostel with everything you need. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was very good. The rooms and toilets were very clean, the showers were okay – a bit less clean in the evening due to heavy use. A big plus: you can easily store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Some improvements could be made in the rooms: more power outlets (ideally next to each bed), more storage space, and personal lockers would be great.

Good place, well cleaned and great localization, but there was no lockers inside the bedroom neither outlets nor lamps near. Shower and toilets spaces are bad too. Good breakfast though. For the price, reasonable. But if you’re going to stay a bit longer, not worth it.

Séjour très agréable dans cette auberge ! L’établissement est propre, sécurisé et très bien situé. L’ambiance est conviviale et le personnel est toujours souriant et disponible. This hostel was very strange. There is only one key for the rooms, so the door is always unlocked unless there are no occupants present in the hostel. Additionally, you can only pay for your stay in cash, which was not advertised well. The beds have no curtain and there is no storage space for personal belongings within the room.

Location is ideal if you’re here for a weekend in Paris and is super affordable. The only issues I found were the showering and bathroom facilities. The showers were far too hot and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted, leaving me unable to wash my hair as I would get burnt. Also I forgot my towel so was happy to purchase a towel as it was my own error but for 50 euros is a crazy amount of money for a towel that I wouldn’t use as the shower was too hot! This hostel was really nice, clean and beautiful! The staff was very kind and accomodating to us. The location is also fantasic! Probably the only downside was that there wasn't much space for socializing, but maybe that's because of the time of the year I went. Other than that, only positive thougths.

The place was really nice overall, clean beds (no curtains though) and nice hanging out areas. The only thing that stuck out was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. This is obviously half the guests fault. Pkease people, clean up after yourselves. In the mornings when the toilets were cleaned it smelled really nice and fresh, so this issue is mainly guest related. Teh staff was also super friendly!

Está bien. A la noche en el espacio común ponen jazz y se arma un lindo ambiente. La ubicación está un poco alejada de lo principal pero no está mal si no te molesta caminar.

por el precio esta decente, buen desayuno, los lockers cobran por uso y no hay para guardar en la pieza pero en general buen hostal

J'ai aimé : Un bel endroit. Un personnel sympa. Une situation proche de l'Opéra Propreté irréprochable Petit déjeuner gratuit et copieux :)) Je n'ai pas aimé : Des lits ou on ne tient pas assis. Pas de casiers sécurisés et consigne payante. Pas de rideaux pour fermer son espace . Pas de lampe de chevet, et pas de prise pour charger son portable. Des sanitaires et douches exigus.
