Hostel DownTown

Everything looked clean but I got bitten by bed bugs =( this totally ruined my experience, got a very bad allergic reaction and Im still in recovery. Such a shame for this to happen, I really hope they take care about that and I can at least get a refund.

Encontré unos animales en la cama, llamados chinches de cama. Emitía mal olor los baños. No daban toallas y cobraban por alquiler. Y precio y calidad no estuvo acorde

I stayed for 2 nights and got bitten by BEDBUGS I DONT RECCOMEND TO SLEEP THERE !!

My room had bed bugs. It did not seem like a big infestation though, so they were probably brought in recently. Told the staff about it so they can adress the issue before it becomes serious.

Sleep tight, while the bedbugs bite.

We stayed with a big group (±100 people), all sharing rooms. Good location close to the city center, but the rooms are old and worn out. Some beds have bedbugs. Not recommended despite the location. Breakfast is good, though. Despite all this, staff is friendly! If not for the rooms and bedbugs, this would be a great stay.

I would not recommend this hostel. Despite having extremely strict rules, the overall conditions are very poor. The building is in desperate need of renovation and feels quite run-down. Even worse, there are bedbugs — something the staff is aware of, yet they take no real action to address it. The hostel is very basic and feels quite primitive. On the plus side, the staff is reasonably friendly, but that alone doesn't make up for the serious issues. Definitely not worth the stay.

Everything is very bad from Hana Stefanski. Also in the morning my back was hurting. Maybe in Hostel Downtown there are bedbugs and lice on the beds! Be careful! Take lice remedies with you!

Beware, one of the mixed dormitories of the first floor is infested with bedbugs. The hostel is aware but keeps renting the room. (Addendum: Since the hostel tries to delete my comment, I join a screenshot of the email they sent me.) Hopefully the receptionists managed to put me in another room but I got charged 6€ extra because the swap "made the software believe I did not pay the city tax" (even though I did and proved it). I felt pretty uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe, and ended up shortening my stay.

Place was alright but beware room 305 has bed bugs. Reading past reviews I saw some that also mentioned bed bugs. They say that a few hours cleaning is enough to sanitise a room, but I don’t think this is how bed bug infestations work. They live in the mattress.
