Hasta La Vista Saranda

Douches waren ijskoud, lag aan het feit dat ze op solar energie werken. Blijkbaar was de stroom op. Bed in onze 5 persoonskamer was niet in te liggen, het hele bed klapte in elkaar (planken stuk?). De poort heeft geen code, iedereen kan binnenlopen.

We were excited to stay in this hostel after reading all of the positive reviews. We’ve stayed in hostels all over the world and always had a positive experience. However, we agreed that this was the worst hostel we have ever stayed in. It was dirty, pee on toilets, no toilet seat, no locks on bathroom doors, lights don’t work, no coffee, towels, or breakfast, no helpful recs or organized tours/activities. Well, it was nice enough and we stayed here a 2nd time out of necessity because they are the only hostel that offers 24h check in, but again I found my bed wasn’t made and the sheet was scrunched up in the corner. There was no one at reception when we arrived, the doors don’t lock, it just felt a bit how’s it going. There are some cool hang out spaces down stairs but no one was really utilising these when we were there so hard to catch a vibe.

Beds were not made when we arrived, staff told us they’d make them we had to ask again a couple hours later. We gave laundry and when we asked when it would be done the guy said he didn’t know where it was/that it hadn’t been done. There was no working water in the evening for showers. There are no key cards at the door for the rooms or the hostel itself and no one late at night on reception to see who is coming in. The hangout spaces are cool though and are good vibes.

The hostel is good, but the tags suggest that there is the possibility to park the car in the hostel. There is no parking though. The bathrooms are dirty and broken

+ big lockers + loads of space in the kitchen and common area + location is ok - anyone could just walk into the hostel and rooms, as most of the time no one would be at reception - bathrooms were not the cleanest - no social vibe at all, it's a big hostel but there were barely any people when we were there. Might be different in peak season though. - not necessarily the hostel's fault, but people didn't really clean their dishes that well, so it was hard to find clean plates and stuff

This hostel was not a vibe. The front door was wide open at all hours and with no locks on the door safety was a real concern. There was never any loo roll, not all bathrooms had toilets and few had mirrors. People didn’t really talk much even in the kitchen. There was zero vibe. I think this may be the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. The large kitchen and water filter saved it from getting a lower score.

When we arrived there was no one at reception. There was a phone number for us to call but no one answered. We waited for half an hour until one guest called a volunteer working at the hostel to help us with the check in. The third guest from our room was arriving the next day and we warn the person at reception and they told us they had a key for her. Very bad hostel. Everything smells. Bathrooms are disgusting and many times broken. Common areas are mostly in a cave. The only thing going for them is that the staff is nice. Avoid if you can.

party hostel that no one cares about cleanness, safety or good service, a random drunk guy entered to my room in the middle of the night and started to pick stuffs from the floor, we had to kick him out and the day after, we told the owner and he started to laugh and calm down the situation saying that the party was too good. Awful

Super nice owner and staff, great facilities and clean surroundings. Atmosphere is welcoming and cozy

This hostel is surprisingly big with many facilities! I would definitely recommend staying there, the staff was very nice and its social. There are lots of showers and the room was clean. Only things were that our room doar didnt close and the showers upstairs don’t have hot water, and downstairs some dont have showerheads. Also its a bit outside the center but its still a walkable distance.

Nous avons été surprises par l’immensité de l’auberge ( salle de cinéma, mini musée…) ! Le personnel est accueillant et disponibles. Seulement on a été déçu par le propreté du lieu, les salles de bains et la cuisine été très sales..

Super schön und top Lage, Vorhänge an den Betten wären aber gut !

A very social hostel and if you’re looking to meet people this is a great place. Big kitchen and hangout areas and staff were lovely!

Je recommande fortement cet hostel pour les personnes qui cherchent un endroit convivial avec un personnel adorable. Point fort : ils ont à disposition de l’eau filtrée ! De plus, il y’a un espace cuisine + une cuisine tenue par un chef.

Really nice staff! Highlight of the hostel. They are so friendly, fun and accommodating. They organise events almost every night it seems so there is always something to do.

Hasta la vista es un lugar pintoresco, lleno de buenas energías, los propietarios son muy atentos. Cada espacio tiene magia. Fui por un día y me quedé una semana. Es el mejor hostal dónde he estado. Las instalaciones están muy bien hechas. No les hace falta nada. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Lo recomiendo 1000 por ciento. Sin duda volvería. Así que si están buscando un lugar lleno de carácter, historia y buenas energías, este Hostal es la mejor opción

Amazing common spaces and kitchen. Rooms were super big, air conned and had luggage storage. Couldn’t fault was so good!

A place with a lot of social space, a nice kitchen, big rooms, a/c, beautiful Interieur and helpful, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere . Within walking distance from the harbor and the bus station. An above average experience. Value for money.

Only stayed for one night. Booked a female Dorm but got put in a mixed dorm. Bathrooms have nothing to hang your Stuff. Hate that cause its always a struggle to take a shower then. Everything was clean, Beds are feeling not the strongest. No Curtains, no privacy. Rooms are open so everybody can walk in anytime!

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. We booked the private room and ended up getting a penthouse that had its own kitchen- which was an amazing expirience. The owner knows a lot about the history of Albania and would love to tell you all about it. Facilities are great, the hostel is clean, has it’s own parking spots and the staff is great. Loved it and if you are going to stay in this town - book this hostel instead of a hotel. 10/10

This place was wonderful. We stayed in the private rooms on the top floor with a great view of the sea and Corfu with a balcony and a shared bathroom. The shared spaces could have used a little bit more cleaning - old food in the fridge, hair in the bathroom. But otherwise, the linens were clean and towels smelled good. Be warned that it is a little far from where the bus drops you off - about 20-25 minutes in the heat. Lovely staff and great social rooms too!

Lovely hostel with lovely staff! Lots of organised group activities and great facilities
