Bit far away from the beach strip. Atmosphere was a bit lacking as I was the only visitor (not too many people in Puerto Lopez anyways). Security was probably best ever in a hostel as they came to open the locked front door when coning in and out. Staff was helpful when organizing trips. All in all good place but better value for money in the hostales nearer to the beach (at least during the low season).

If you want to relax and see nobody it’s the good place! It was empty when I was there, it has a lot of potential but they didn’t really exploit it.. kitchen is very simple and miss a bit of equipment in my opinion.. They are cleaning your room every day and give you also a towel!

A very good stay for just one night as we did. A little bit out of town, a comfortable hostel with good private rooms. Breakfast was good to have as an option. Staff were very kind and friendly, it seemed family run. Not much going on, wouldn’t be a good place for making friends.

Maria was super friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. The rooms are clean, the breakfast was simple but good. Would stay there again.

Schönes, sauberes Hostel in 800m Distanz zum Strand. Das Frühstück ist allerdings relativ schmal und wenig abwechslungsreich. Dafür aber mit gutem Kafe.

Ich habe mich sehr sehr wohl hier gefühlt 😊

Had a great, quiet and chill stay at Alcazaba. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming and had answers to all our questions. We would definitely come again.

Nice rooftop terrace with hammocks. Clean rooms. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre (not too bad).

Extremely friendly staff and clean hostel. They make up your bed every day, which is nice. The hostel had few customers and the location is a bit out of town and in a poor area, didn’t meet any other travelers there. Its a good place if you prefer peace and quite.

Staff were so lovely and helpful! We had a lovely breakfast, lots of information and generally a nice man to help us and a woman the next day who was equally as lovely! A little bit further from beach but worth it for the price
