Mai Vien Homestay

Lovely place but not sure about the social area as it’s also a restaurant, so far out of everything in Hue and there was no one else there during my stay which I wish they told me earlier, I didn’t like that at all for a solo female traveller.

I had a good night there, the room was clean. I could'nt close my door because I had the keys when I came back in the evening (it's maybe better to have them at the same time than the check-in). The house is really beautiful and calm, outside of the city center. The family is super nice too !

Very kind staff and good breakfast, good price, beautiful property with nice amenities. Distance from the city was inconvenient, needed to call a rie to go to or from city and homestay. There were spiderwebs above the shower, but otherwise things seemed clean. Not many people when I was there, not very social.

WONDERFUL STAY! The guy who owns it is so sweet and friendly. I was the only one there during my time since there was a big storm, but he made sure I was okay and was very conversational. Would stay again!

Very nice space to rest after a day of exploring aswell as to meet fellow travellers. A little farther from the city center, however the host is very approachable, facilities clean and the breakfasts are pretty good. Had some Bún bò and rice soup with eel and both were delicious.

I planned to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 5 because I loved it so much! Phuc and his mom were incredibly kind and made me feel at home. The house is a beautiful, authentic Hue-style home, very well maintained. The dorm was spacious with the best shower I’ve seen in a hostel. The kitchen was fully equipped, even with an air fryer! The only downside is that the house is a bit far from the center, about 15 min by motorbike, but it only costs around 20k dong. Still, I definitely recommend it...

Lovely stay just outside Hue! I stayed in the female dorm and loved it. Big comfy beds with curtains, fresh towels, lockers, and both a fan and AC. The host was super friendly, invited me to a homemade Vietnamese dinner, and even helped me book my night bus + drove me into town. Quiet location away from the party noise, but still easy to reach. Highly recommend!
