Boo Beach Hostel

surely one if the worst places I ever stayed at (traveled over 50 countries) and I am glad I left and hope you dont stay here - everything is said with that, trust me

My honest opinion: First of all, the hostel does not look like in the pictures. Especially not the entrance area and it is definitely not a social hostel because you have no way to get together. Secondly, what was really very bad and harmful to health was that in my room and in many other rooms the ceilings and walls are covered with mold, which causes a sweet and a standing air. Don’t say here if you are a young female traveller. Rooms do not have locks, the walls and curtains have mold on them, and there is limited / no social experience. Unpleasant experience, and we did not feel safe here personally.

The hostel seemed fine on arrival. However the private room that i booked had no working air conditioning. There were rat dropping on the floor when i got back to my room the 2nd time. A giant roach ran by on the counter in the kitchenette. The stainless steel sink was filthy. There was a dirty used razor blade in the shower area. When I notified the staff the next day she said sorry and i moved on but then they proceeded to cancel my booking so that i would not be able to leave a review.

Opzich een prima privékamer, maar ze waren heel de dag aan het verbouwen naast en tegenover het hostel wat echt heel veel herrie maakte. Ook al om 06.00u sochtends. Voor de prijs die ik betaald had vond ik het wat tegenvallen. Het gratis bier en fruit is overigens alleen op specifieke dagen en dus niet elke dag.. Locatie is prima vlakbij het strand!

When I arrived I was shown to a different hostel round the corner. The staff were nice but the facilities were very poor, the air con in the room is not good.

Vraiment déçu de l’hostel avec les review qui lui sont attribués. Chambre insalubre, pas de papier toilette. Le personnel, comme souvent, est quand à lui très accueillant et l’hostel est bien placé.

de accomodatie voldeed niet aan mijn verwachtingen. er was lekkage in de keuken en de badkamer, na melding andere kamer gekregen. de schoonmaak van de kamers en badkamer is slecht er is een keuken, maar deze is totaal niet ingericht (geen bestek, borden, glazen, koelkast) dus daar heb je niks aan. de receptioniste is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk en spreekt relatief goed engels. gratis koffie beneden zag er niet smakelijk uit en kopjes vies. geen gezelligheid of uitnodigend.

Location is great, very close to the beach. The staff was very nice. The downstairs is alright to play pool and hang out for a bit but it has a funny smell. The dorm room was not very clean and it smelled like stale cigarettes. The beds are not comfortable they’re very hard. The bathroom and “kitchen area” smelled like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. In my bathroom the sink was in pieces on the ground. My least favorite hostel out of the 8 or so I’ve stayed in SE Asia thus far.

Very mid hostel. Not social and not clean. Staf made me feel like i was annoying them.

Great stay at boo hostel, hostel is great location and the private rooms are very good for the price, staff are great but not hostel guests are not as social during the rainy season!

Enjoyed my stay here. The bed was comfy, the shower had amazing pressure plus could get extremely hot, and the air con worked well. Had minimal trouble with the WiFi and the free happy hour they did was a nice touch. My only real complaint was that the lockers have no divider under the bed to you and your bunk mate (if you have one) are expected to share the locker space. They said they will address this but I ended up putting a lock on both sides.

Perfect Hostel ! Free pool table , free Beer in Happy hours! Nice and clean rooms , friendly staffs ! Would recommend this to everybody!

Great accomodations in both the private rooms and shared dorms. Cheap bottled water, Friendly and helpful staff. Happy hours are fun. Motorbikes for rent, Location is good

Man this place was really cool. Bro at the front had awesome energy and really cared to make sure I was having a good time. Place was very clean and the beds were cozy with a charging port and all. When I come back to visit Da Nang again I’ll definitely be staying here.

für eine Nacht okay, nicht sozial, Sauberkeit könnte insbesondere beim Badezimmer besser sein

Friendly staff, especially Phi, great location. There’s a pool table in the lobby. Close to the beach and local eateries.

Chill hostel, people to have a chat with but not super social when I was there (but the staff were trying and have a happy hour which is nice). Great location very close to My Khe beach and restaurants etc. Bathroom could have done with a bit of a deep clean but otherwise all good.

Staff super friendly, hostel was clean however lockers are easily accessible and can be opened even when locked so aren’t very secure. Not the most social and common area is quite small but for a short stay is a decent enough hostel for the price, decent location

We got a private room and it was huge. The staff were very nice. One of them was extremely energetic too which was fun! Only thing is there were 2 alive cockroaches in the bathroom (one in the toilet and one poking out the cistern) and a dead one under the bed.
